Just wondering if there is an alternative for the corn syrup for the people trying to stay away from high carb and high gluten things..thankyou so much for this recipe, one of my altime favourite flavours. My mum used to use the ruf brand almond essence in her baked goods.

We've got our own honey, so I always make marzipan with honey & a drop of lemon juice.
