  • In this video I will show you how to make easy and real good marzipan as well as delicious almond paste. The almond paste and marzipan recipes are easy to follow and done in just a couple of minutes. Ready to be used immediately for baking or eating. I also will explain the difference between Marzipan and Almond Paste, because they are not the same and are used for different things.

    Ingredients for Almond Paste
    1 1/2 cups almond flour
    1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    2 teaspoons almond extract
    1 egg white (slightly beaten)
    Ingredients for Marzipan (eggless)
    3/4 cup almond flour
    9 tablespoons of powdered sugar
    1/2 teaspoon almond extract
    1/4 teaspoon rosewater (optional)
    1 tablespoon of water (add more if too dry)

    Thanks, my German mum got me hooked on marzipan with Christmas goodies sent to us in England. I live in south africa now and it's a rare thing to find unless it's imported. I'm going to try making some batches and fine tuning. Crikey, I used to spend my pocket money on bricks of it but nowhere to be seen anymore😂

      Haha, i don’t blame him. I crave them all the time. It got too expensive to go to Panera every time. So that’s why I make them myself now. Let me know how they turned out! 😋

    Have you come across Marzipan recipes with Orange Blossom Water? I was wondering if it replaced the Rose Water or was used as well?

    You should indicate that IS a Tunisian 🇹🇳🇹🇳 traditional almond paste from carthaginian héritage 🇹🇳

    In your Princess cake recipe, you add honey to make marzipan fondant to cover a Princess cake. What is the difference between marzipan and marzipan fondant? Just the honey?

    How is one more coarse then the other??? You use the same flour...and why is hde paste less sweet??? You use more suger vs flour in the paste then the marzipan...you are so confusing...
