Has anyone ever told you that you kind of resemble Tom Arnold? Great instructional videos. They are helping a lot. Thank you.
Most impressed with back break job as I was with front break job. Appreciate the time u take to tell us all the little but important stuff to check. Most of us wouldn't know these things and u could sell us more parts if we missed the little stuff and didn't check em or do em. Thanks for wanting us to be able to do the job and do it well. I feel like u have been so good at showing me how to do this I need to buy parts from u. Ur marketing is working. U scratch my back, I scratch urs. Have a blessed day and thanks for sharing ur knowledge.
This guy is AWESOME! Made my repairs EXTREMELY DOABLE! Thx for this excellent vid!
this has to be the most straight to the point and informative repair ive seen in a long time. most vids are ppl rambling on about of non sense and drawn out vid that is boring.. Great Job!!
You make it look easy I watch the video and it took me like 20 mins just to get the break cover off
How did you get it off I cant get mine off
Like your glasses all your videos are top notch and very helpful sure beats the old days when everything was trial and error and I couldn’t afford a service manual
This man is super duper excellent mechanic and explains step by step A++++ service 👍👍👍👍
Very nice video. Very clear instructions. You did not cover removing the brake actuator pin and lubricating it to prevent it from seizing. I was hoping for a bit more instruction on adjusting the brake cables, but I think I have it. Thankyou for the video.
Excellent video and presentation without all the extra rambling on most mechanics indulge in.
Congratulations on the video, it helped me a lot. Well explained step by step, very profissional !!!! Ricardo (Brazil)
Listen guys and Gail’s I am 13 I am not trying to honk my own horn but yes it takes a little bit but it’s easy As he said I did it once then twice it was easier the second time
I had a very tough time removing the cover housing dust seal. I definitely couldn't push it out with a screwdriver. I ended up pouring boiling water into the cover until it started to overflow into the seal. I let it sit for a few minutes then tapped out the old seal using a 1/4" drive extension and a small hammer.
Thank you for sharing I feel after watching this video I can do this myself now I would buy Parks from you but I believe you're in USA pricing so do you have a distributor in Canada
Did you edit this video? I remember there was a part of this video covering the lever behind the hub that moves the brake shoes. It is a part that had to be lubed to work best. I remember you saying it will seize and have to be freed up to work.
Thanks for the “ to the point “ instructions!
Great step-by-step directions.
Thank you, this is a great tutorial!
Can you tell me why my trx350 is really difficult to change gear now and how do I check or change the gearbox oil? Thanks
Great informative video 📹 👍
i have a honda atc 200 and i cant seem to get the cover off i have taken off the bolts for the cover and the ones on the axle but it just wont come off any suggestions?
2016 250TRX Recon rider here. Are the Cotter pins all the same for the entire ATV?
How do we fix that plug in on the top left side it's like a car plug in
Would this repair be the same for a 2005 Rancher 350 es?
Would this be the same process for a trx250ex ?
Great video.
You are great. Thank you
How do you reattach the hoses to the TRX 350 ES carburetor
Nice video amigo
Would this be similar to an 1987 honda fourtrax
Thanks
When I took my drum off there was a bunch of gear lube in there but the Hub was loose the castle nut loosened up somehow I tightened everything back up hoping that it might not leak anymore any suggestions
New drum the splines are shot there no way the nut can stay tite
My brake drum doesn’t slide over easily.... the brake shoes are set properly. What am I missing?
I was an idiot and j broke the back panel by accident before I watched a video, how do I fix that and/or replace it?
Son muy buenos los videos pero no hay en español
What is a good way to clean up the hub?? Every brake job I've done the hub is rusted , I usually use a wire brush on a drill.. do you use sandpaper?
Multiple ways, just don't scratch the hub in the process. Extremely fine grit paper is ok, brash brush, no steel...etc.
Would this be similar to a 2008 Polaris sportsman 90. I just got one for my cousin but it has really bad to no breaking power at all.
Polaris will most likely be a different procedure, but this video can give you the basics to check it out.
Been doing one that has been in brackish water by the previous owner and everything is corroded and it's my first time
Sounds like fun!
The inner hub on my brakes is seized and I can't take it off. Any suggestions?
new atv
Son buenos videos pero no se pueden poner en subtitulos en español
How much would it cost to have a top end rebuild on 1999 350 warrior.
If you take it to a shop, you will have to get a quote from them. If you do it yourself, the only cost is the parts and gaskets.
This isn't a brake problem, but my 06 rancher idles high in neutral which makes it shift hard into gear. It also lurches forward while it's in gear sitting still. I figure it's a carb problem but don't know what to check first.
Adjust your idle screw and lower your idle.
@@PartzillaParts Thank you. Do you have a video on that?
@@PartzillaParts I figured it out and it seems to be running better. I'm doing the rear brakes tomorrow. Thanks for the help!
I have the same Honda Rancher, I have replaced the brakes. The problem I have is the right foot peg keeps getting stuck when brakes applied and I have to manually lift it back up. What can I do to fix this issue? Thanks.
You have to determine why it's getting stuck. Bad springs? Is the lever bent?
Partzilla , no lever is not bent.
Have you checked the springs and cables?
My grandpas rancher had the same issue, we took the foot lever off and it was seized, some new grease freed it right up.
My drum is stock
i have a 2013 honda rancher and when letting go of the throttle, the bike makes a rubbing noise. i cant seem to figure what it is.
It's only on deceleration? Could be brake pads or maybe the front tires rubbing on the plastics?
i think i can hear it a bit when accelerating, but its louder and more obvious on deceleration.. we checked if it was the plastics and no, none of the plastics seem to be interfering. its a 420 so it has drum brakes like in this video.
and its coming from the rear end.
You're going to have to isolate the noise. It could be brakes or even differential noise.
okay thank you.
350 trxfm
The pads are to big to put my hub back on
Can you make a video or tell me how to solve backfire on ATV?
We will add it to the suggestion list!
Where do the bulk hose vacuum go to...?
It's just a vent hose that is routed to vent under the unit.
Mines is broken off do I need it?
Well, it's recommended and helpful and it belongs on the unit, but it won't destroy your ATV if you don't have it.
The original tires are 24x9-11r and 24x8-12f...will 25x10x12 fit or ride different ? i can't find 25x9x11r tires?
Hard to say. 24 is the height of the tire inflated, 9 is width. If you can get an extra inch high and wide without affecting your clearance, it should be fine. You really should at least match the rim diameter though. So going from an 11 to a 12 could cause some issues.
Mine were so bad lol
