Ted LeMoine it really is just a individual sport with a team result. On offense at least. One hitter hits a time, no one else can help a guy hitting. On defense there’s a little bit of teamwork, but even then it’s minimal. So not that crazy to say it’s an individual sport because in a lot of cases it is

Totally agree with Max about Severino. Stephen A proves it to everyone that he doesn’t know what he’s talking about (baseball wise). I think he was right about Sevy also, but if you watched Yankees baseball this year you know that Tanaka has been rocky all year. He had a good game 2, but in Boone’s defense, Tanaka has given up a ridiculous amount of home runs in crucial situations. If you’re going up against a JD Martinez and a Mookie Betts who are home run machines, you cannot trust Tanaka more than Severino or Happ in this specific situation.

Tanaka has a career 3.59 era. He's a good #2 pitcher, but not an ace. Chris Sale, an actual ace, has a 2.89 era and has pitched for a longer amount of time.
