Honestly if you’re looking for a high performance mud machine, it’s really the best bang for buck. I am enjoying this machine very much coming from my older less powerful machines. The 78 hp Rotax engine is a blast especially in sport mode with the electronic throttle. The 4Lok locking front differential is also a big plus on this machine.
Yeah cause I wish I could just say hell with it and get the new renegade 1000 xmr haha but I gotta stay in reality. Thanks for the vids I was sold on the color this year they got. But needed to know about the works first haha
@@jamesjimerson4711 The renegade is a sweet machine but here it’s 20k before taxes and licensing which I didn’t really want to pay. I’m glad the videos helped and same, I much perfected the desert tan over the neo yellow. I’m sure you’ll have a blast with the outlander. I actually have an overview video coming out very soon.
compared to rubicon how is the seating position, is the seat as comfortable, and hows the suspension? im goin get one but idk if i should stick with honda tho
The outlander is and feels like a bigger machine. You sit more up on it than down in it. The seat and suspension are stiffer than the rubicons for sure. The seat is fairly comfortable but The XMR models have a stiffer tuned suspension compared to the trail models. When shopping I prioritized power and capability over comfort but I could trail this machine all day. I hope that helps.
@Octane Adventures yes very helpful and yeah them rubicon are buttery smooth yeah i wanna use it as a hunting and mudding and trail bike, ik the xmrs are not really fuel efficient but can you least get a day 1/2 out the tank?
@@Z71_jake96 I would say a day depending on how you ride it and depending on how it’s tuned. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to get this thing out for a full day worth of riding. Though if you’re taking it easy for hunting purposes then I don’t see fuel being too much of an issue but if you’re really hammering on it, these things will burn the fuel. I’ll give you an update if I get the opportunity to get this thing out for a days worth of riding and let you know how much I burnt and how I rode it.
I do, I just wasn’t using it in my narrow trails the first time out on this machine. I wanted to get used to it first. It’s way more than what I’m used to coming from my Honda and Yamaha. I’m using it more now.
I’m about 20 - 25 minutes from there. DM me on instagram or Facebook and we’ll try to get out sometime. I’ll be travelling all over to ride again once the weather is nicer.
Good times! Nice machine. I got a 2021 Renegade XMR last year and was really surprised how big it was.
Is it really worth buying?? Got the dealer ready to order I just wanna know first hand if it's the beez kneez? Haha
