I really appreciated the EGR delete videos. I think I'll do that on my '86 F-150. I am trying to figure out the TAD/TAB delete connections and the appropriate resistor for that job. You seemed like a knowledgeable source. Thanks for any help you can offer.
Thanks for the video! Question on my harness I’m working on a 95 harness and my tranny is a T5. On my trans I only have a VSS and a reverse light switch. What do I do with pin 30 on my ECU for nutreul lever interface ? That’s aging for this egr delete info!!
I did this to my 5.8 and it kept the check engine light off but it would cause the engine to stumble and sometimes did when in gear and lightly accelerating (like backing out of the driveway or pulling away from a stop sign). Any ideas?
Is this a new problem that happened after doing the EGR delete? If so, I would check for any vacuum leaks, and also take a look at the IAC, make sure it is working properly. Perhaps may want to try the base idle reset to make sure the fast idle control sensor is set properly. Just some ideas. Thanks for watching!

@@MajorSporto hey major Sir. I have an F-150 5.0 well b4 I got it they did a crate engine. Gonna put some oh sht to it... My younger cousin's grad present... Changed mind bear with me it is important.... Supposedly they put a cam in it???not sure and true duals lol WTH 1 o2 sensor headers no crossover WT! The issue is it will in time burn up the ECMPCM or kill the ICM at distributor rarely kill the coil. I've been trying this thing for years now... I'm about sure I may have it but this thing is like the spoiled hi school GF lol anything and it's pissed guess what EGR plugged and plg thrown dwn IDK so I also need this fix has always been rich and known there's got to be more in this truck anything plz just bounce ideas back at me and Jesus Christ I would appreciate it... Oh and a lot of the reason why I don't just carb or something.... $$$ brother I'm broke no job thanks Rona
Did you do the same thing shown in this video, on my 95 5.8 it still throws a code when i install the same resistors in the same pattern in the connector
Yes, there was a plug that you could buy and just plug it into the EGR connector and it would to the exact same things as these resistors. However, when I looked into getting one for my conversion a few years ago, it was no longer available. At least at that time it was. Not sure about these days.
I have a question I recently did the EGR delete and finished it correctly where they just left the unplugged well as I'm accelerating I can slightly feel it pulse not a skip My problem is in my head it's dual exhaust with no crossover tube could the O2 sensor being on one pipe be causing my air fuel to be adjusted because it's not getting 100% of the readings it should be getting makes me think and wonder because it wasn't doing this before till I did this not a bad thing just an adjustment that needs to be made if anything
Hi Phill, do you have both O2 sensors hooked up? I know on a 5.0 there should be two O2 sensors, one for each pipe so the exhaust can be monitored for the left and right bank of the engine. Not sure if this is a Mustang computer you're working with. However, if you're using a computer from 86-93 (and probably later) you really should have two O2 sensors to run it on a stock tune. Maybe a vacuum leak or some other way of unmetered air is entering your engine and causing you the slight issue. Can you pull codes? Sometimes you can get a code that does not turn on the CEL. Just some ideas. Good luck!
You can get a Haynes manual for your vehicle from most auto parts stores. In the back of the manual, you will find wiring diagrams for everything in the vehicle.
I don't think so. The resistors imitate the actual EGR sender, so the computer "thinks" it is still there. If you splice the wires you will get a constant Check Engine Light and some codes. P

On those two 50 amp resistors work there's a video on that here you just need to look until you find it sorry I don't remember the name
I have a 1997 F350XL with the 5.8 and was wondering if the same resistors would be used to delete the egr as you used on the 5.0.
2/ 1 /23 , newb here following instructions 🥴
Thank you
Informative vid. Thanks for sharing.

How could I find out how to get my ABS light off I've changed all the parts twice it's just the light or the signal to the light

Thank you for sharing. Do you know how to do It on Passat B6 TDI?
Can an EGR resistor delete be done on a 1995 Ford Ranger 2.3L?
It worked on my Ford pickup 95 5.8 keeps the light off
Did you do the same thing shown in this video, on my 95 5.8 it still throws a code when i install the same resistors in the same pattern in the connector
Please explain how to do this on an 02 4.0l explorer
What ohm resistors
Its a 3 wire
dont they sell a plug in EGR simulater device that does the same thing you done?

What are the salt and pepper connectors for
They allow you to remove the engine section of the harness from the rest of the main harness.
BOTH of the resistors are 3.9K ohm NOT one being 390 ohm.
The diagram shows three resistors. Two being 3.9K ohm and one being 390 ohm.
Do u work modify oem harnesses to work on engine swaps?
Sorry for the delay, I do work on OEM conversions. However only for the 86-93 Fox Body HO Mustang EEC-IV computers.
did u send me this on the mustang forms yesterday was the same picture u showed
Was not me. Sorry. That image is widely shared across the forums.
@@MajorSporto I figured but wanted to ask
After I made mine in I had a code for the act sensor
What year model mustang is this from?
Glen Carlson this was from a late 80’s 5.0 Mustang. Either 88-90
Where can I get the electrical diagrams? I need help

😵
Can you post a link that shows the part numbers and or ohms volt ratios? I tried to screen shot them but its too fast. Thank you for the video.
Volume too low
Why not put it in one video? That was a waste of time.
You can buy a dongle
