The song in the stage in Greece is one of my favorites in castlevania. I definitely love the rendition of it in the GBA Circle of the Moon title the most.
Huge fan of this game. It has so much going on, with two worthy characters to play with, arcade-like fast and smooth gameplay, great level design, a lot of memorable set pieces (the different play locations through Europe was such a good idea), a lot of creative visual effects (the reflection on the water, the rotation on the tower...), a more gory dimension than usual in the series, some crazy boss fights and that soundtrack is absolutely majestic!!! Only downsides are a few janky animations and a few empty backgrounds, all of which due to Konami cheaping out on the cart size (only 8 meg, it's rather low by 1994 standards) and rushing the development process. But still, overall, Bloodlines (AKA Vampire Killer in Japan) is the best Classicvania IMO and a strong contender for a top 100 best Mega Drive games. It's just a shame that a Bloodlines 2 never happened. It could have been great on 32X or Saturn.
Quite possibly the best Castlevania title of all time...definitely my personal favorite...fantastic weapon upgrades & a veritable cornucopia of enemies & bosses with tremendous backgrounds...the replay value of this game is unsurpassed...unquestionably one of the best games to own for the Genesis system - they don't make them any better than this one!

Para ser un juego corto, estaría genial ver más cuartos especializados para las habilidades de uno de los mains character, fuera la regla, osea no solo no duraría 50 minutos de Gameplay, sino que multiplicarías ese número por más bifurcaciones y la experiencia de jugar con uno de ellos sería diferente y más acorde, a ser la zona algo laberíntico y que los propios personajes tomarán rutas distintas
I now officially own all the castlevania games except a few that weren't that great anyway in have castlevania 1,2,3 super castlevania 4, castlevania x Dracula , Castlevania bloodlines ' symphony of the night, castlevania chronicles those r the best castlevania games

Meh. Drac x isn't so great imo neither is cv4. But whatever - I mean I actually think the 64 games and LoI are really great and por and OoE too. Los1 is alright. Certainly they're all better than drac x or cv4. Rondo is fine despite the style and tone being borderline insulting to the series it's a part of.
CV4 was just too easy and was a dazzle show all the kids loved it cause it had great stage design but the character is just can whip in every direction there’s no challenge it bored me years ago…..now Bloodlines is just a classic
No, it's not a hack. A cheat is used to get the expert difficulty, and have the classic CV themes play when the weapon is at full power. You can do it on a real copy of the game on a console.
You can also access Expert mode by beating Normal mode. Once the credits have finished and the title screen shows up again, if you go into the options you'll be able to change the difficulty to Expert.

I'd say with Eric is easier than with John. That upward jump can be pretty effective, not to mention that you can hit in any direction you want.
Agreed. With John, I struggled to complete Normal mode, but with Eric completed Normal and Expert much more easily.
