Finally…a Range Rover that won’t break down
It's a Hyundai , it's gonna have issues...
@@imdone1965 Still less than a Range Rover
@@usmantariq7997 I would hope so , it's a Hyundai...
@@imdone1965probably its a case to case basis but personally I own a Hyundai Tucson for about 12 years now and never had a problem.
It is only people who never had a Hyundai say that. We have two Hyundais, and they are far reliable than a Fiat 500, and two VW Polos that I had.
I am not in the market for this type of vehicle, but I can see it doing very well. Maybe more so in North America where size matters. Great review as usual.
@@phillipbanes5484 how do you get 23 countries in North America einstein?

@@Blacklightdtb From Mexico, it's classified as Central America.
There is an off-road version of the new Santa Fe coming to North America market. The trim is called XRT.
I think color really makes a difference for this. White exterior with the “black ink” package looks awesome. Some of the other colors look bleh
Excellent presenter, love watching your videos!
2009 Ford FLEX.
I fancied the Sorento, but when I saw the Santa Fe at the release event I realised this is the car for me. As soon as pre-orders open I'll be ordering one - AWD, HEV, light blue metallic.
It must be nice having that white privilege.
Stick with the sorrento
@@tonykulikovsky why? I'm asking because im also trying to decide between sorento, SantaFe24 and the sienna
overflowing korea East Sea, Amazing charming korean traditional architecture behind scene! 8:37 I love rear designe. good job!
Landrover inspired. Very practical big SUV. Getting expensive though. Backside needs a cleanup:)
They were so close with this one but the backend is unforgivable 🤮
Great review - shame there is only the 1.6l hybrid engine and no diesel for open roads / over taking / towing etc.
The overall design is slowly growing on me but the back just…it looks like Modok from Iron Man !
The interior is spot on 👌🏽
good explaination and good car.
The design in the back will translate much better if they make the light box signature a solid fill instead of the H pattern.
The backside looks like the "Scooby-Doo" van.
Looks like Hyundai took a page out of the Ford Flex design book. Not a bad end result.
The color combinations and design of the interior is VERY beautiful. Im so in love with this redesign Santa Fe. It’s so fresh!
A square design is fresh?
🤣
@imdone1965 I mean, you say that as if they've used this same EXACT design before.
Has the mpg been released yet?
only worry i have are the indicator lights just too low for me.
even the tucson has very low turn lights
Great video!
No trizone climate for thie price? No keyless opening using rear door handle?
Love it! even the back :)
This will sell like hotcakes. I hate the back, but as a family oriented driving this could be the best.
Does it have 4 way camera?
Comprehensive review...how was the flight, hotels and banquet in Korea??? 🎉
Back looks decent and minimalist. this New Santa Fe had good design, i love it❤
Did Hyundai say what the MPg vs MPe is for gas and Hybrid models.. They are saying March for USA Gas model , but Spring for Hybrid, yet most of the demos on RUclips overseas are Hybrids??
6:38 you have to use the physical key to unlock it. It's there for every model
1.6lt engine for 3rd row suv lol
Lovely, a great looking vehicle. Seems to have jumped into the space where the Disco 4 used to be now JLR have abandoned their tonka toy design language. Looks good inside and out and it's only the crazily small engine I struggle to get my mind around - I'd probably feel a bit more comfortable with a 2.0 onboard. I like this a lot though.
Very good journalist.
It looks like a knock off Range Rover - for prob about half the price and running costs..but most of its features
And no breakdowns…
@@brianallan9035 well fewer for sure..and you can insure it inside the M25
I think it look like a Chinese knockoff of the old dicso
Probably 1/10th the running costs
If the Chinese brought this out we’d all be criticising it as a Land Rover knock off
But online it says the car is coming to Europe tho
I see nothing but G-Wagon in the back! I don’t mind the look at all. It serves a purpose for more cargo space.
And for me back design looks like renovated VW Transporter T3
hmm, i see more of defender like the overall looks, the steering wheel, interior all of it
@@dzmitrykuliashou1309 So does a G-Wagon and it’s all over mall parking lots. Which means, people still buys them. I see the new Santa Fe being a hit for the brand.
@@ankitraj-mp5mn Same. But, I was ONLY referring the back of the vehicle with the way the taillights are positioned.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 agreed
This car is a great entry for the European market, since we lack mainstream practical 3 row SUVs. The only choices are German and French, which end up being expensive for optional extras and less reliable. This will fit perfectly since minivans have died out and it is the largest car in its class which families will appreciate.
Was the steering wheel taken from the Range Rover or was the entire carrier inspired by it?
VW Sharan / Seat Alhambra is the ultimate 7-seater, offering 5 isofix seats, 184 ps, 4×4 and sliding doors.
The price-quality ratio is certainly better when compared to the previous 4th generation model!. Better premium quality.
Hopefully also the pricing, the price is more competitive. 🤔
How can you comment on the price-quality ratio, if you don't yet know the price?
What Car faz um vídeo sobre o Mercedes-Benz GLB 35 AMG 4Matic(What Car makes a video about the Mercedes-Benz GLB 35 AMG 4Matic)
They knocked off the interior of the Range Rover and Jaguar Xf. Which is not a bad thing
i wish they also had a smaller size without the third row. As a single person i dont need all of that space, but I love the way this car looks. Definitlely giving Range Rover vibes without the price.
Think that’s massive, get behind the wheel of a new GMC Yukon XL. Also I think Hyundai should have done something like the lift gate of the bmw i3 or the Audi q7, move the light bar up and add a second set of stationary lights under where the lift gate opens.
The back looks like an 80‘s VW Transporter/Vanagon. I quite like it.
I hope they improved on those terrible AC vents in the middle row. They were so weak in the older models.
best review
Korean Discovery 👌😍 but it needs 3.5 biturbo with 375hp 🤔
Finally something people can trade their Pontiac Aztecs in for.
Will this car sale in Germany?
Yes. Phev coming later when they figure it out
Think I prefer the Kia EV9, if I needed a 6/7 seater
Why is that no Hyundai-logo on the steering wheel? otherwise nice and gorgeous car, but I don't like that there's no Hyundai-logo on the steering wheel. I think that It would be a self evident in every car like seat belts etc. Maybe old Toyotas as exception where that was the model name instead of a Toyota-logo.
The guy who was designing this car was on cocaine while designing the front, too drunk while designing the back.
X5 competitor? 😂
It looks like built out of LEGO
Reminds me of the new Dacia Duster, which is a good thing. I like the design.
Taillights gotta come up
No idea why this is being compared to a 5008? I mean its totally different. This I would say sits in the Discovery and possibly Defender market better than the "small" SUV range
I chose it instead of Range Rover and I'm still proud of my choice
Well, it's better looking than old model but without diesel engine i'm not sure they sell much of these in EU.
Did you see the 2024 kodiaq interior? 🔥🔥🔥
GJ. Nissan Sentra review pls
Do we get that car in the UK?
Sadly no we don't get the Sentra. Definitely a looker. But as it's a saloon and boring UK and Europe are abandoning this segment that it makes no sense for Nissan to import it.
Oh and in orange the Sentra looks amazing!
Beautiful
Surely they could have put a bit more thought into the design of the rear.🤦♂️ I love the rest of it, but the back....
Fun fact : same designer as the ' Land Wind '........
It's amazing, until you look at the back.
100% buying one when the backlights get corrected.
It has a MOC Lego SUV feel
Love it
If the rear lamp is tinted like range rover, it will look even better
It would be inexpensive to have that done.
I said this is looking better then the new 2024 Lexus GX550. wow!
Throw a 3L diesel engine with mild hybrid to be better in city and this will be a best seller.
To all the stupid people who are saying “that’s looks like a Range Rover”. I’m 100% sure that the Santa Fe will last longer and have less mechanical issues and recalls than a Range Rover.
You're perfectly right , it will last longer than any Land Rover/ Range Rover but ,it still looks like they copied the design 😅 from the Land Rover Defender 😅
No.
@@MG-ce3dx Nope
@@vpnconsult Yes. What are you…12?
You are such a kind person calling people stupid....... 🙄🤦
Hyundai has invited in Korea many world famous RUclipsr!
A Land Rover knock off for sure
Why Hyundai invite a Hyundai hater?
That looks like it was designed by Lego!
If this is the “Ultimate”, the Kia EV9 will be the nec plus ultra
The station wagon makes a comeback.
It looks like a combination of the Ford Flex and the Bronco Sport to me.
Awesome SUV
한국인으로써 자랑스럽습니다!
game : drink a shot every time he says ''massive''
Looks nice, but if they are still using the same ol crap engines??????
It's odd you didn't mentioned it is just a copy of the EV9 and the interior is also very much like the new KIA cars, since KIA and Hyundai share designs. except this is hybrid and not full eletric.
Hyundai is coming with the ioniq 7 as a ev9 competitor
Kia ev9 isn’t on the same platform as this car, it’s most likely gonna be a facelifted Kia sorento
Wished they do these in 5 seats, I like the size of the car but don't need 7 seats, the extra space from not having 7 seats would be used for transporting my dogs and their bits'n'bobs which I have in my current 5 seat X-Trail.
Fold the 3rd row down…
@@NalaStaarthe 5 seater version has more room in the back because you free up the space the folded seats take.
@@korona277 how? The folded seats align with the trunk floor. Lol
@NalaStaar you obviously got no idea what you are on about. My X-Trail 5 seater has extra storage space which would be taken up by the seat mechanism in the 7 seat version. Wish people would engage their brain a bit before commenting.
@@jogolock1190 ah. Apologies, angry pants. Then get a 5 seater or an actual truck. There’s plenty on the market. lol there aren’t many midsize suvs that can seat more than 5. Full size suvs have priced out a lot of ppl. So this is a great option for many. You’re the outlier for this car segment. The average consumer doesn’t purchase a new vehicle to cater to their dogs and bits’n’bobs… it was a smart move for Hyundai.
Santa Flex Rover.. 😏 😁 Looks. Good though..
Whichever executive approved that rear end design needs to be sent to North Korea for hard labour
Hyundai are a car company in a hurry. But they do seem to completely restyle cars at frequent intervals meaning your current gen version now last gen version gets dated.
The back looks excellent. Gladly loses that same ol’ ‘busy’ design.
What kind of Hippo is this ?
Ford should sue Hyundai for copying its Flex.
Prado, ranger & santafe would be looking same by 2025. But why????
Where is the off road?
If you tell an ai to follow the current car trends, this will be the generated
Jeep 7 Seater, Mazda cx90, Toyota Highlander and many more options not just Skoda and Renault and definitely you cant compare to BMW and other luxury cars.
IT LOOKS LIKE A DEFENDER
Nowadays each Company try their products to looks like Range Rover.. I don't know why?
Sad those new and nice Mid to BIG SUV still using those old school small sunroof, divided in 2 is even worst.... Big Moonroof is the way to go! I have a Sorento, the sunroof/moonroof is so nice, one of my favorite features.... But those new cars can't have it??? SAD!
No diesel? 🥲
Lol, I wonder how many customers are cross shopping NEW BMWs and Audis with Hyundais.
the back grows on you the more you see it
Like fungus you can't get rid of...
@@imdone1965 hah. Look at how much bigger it is than the competitors though
