    Leo Daschbach was unstoppable over the final 250 meters, pouring it on late for a final kick that was absolutely breathtaking as he finished in a time of 3:59.54 to become the 11th athlete in high school history to break 4 minutes in the mile at the 2020 Quarantine Clasico Sub-4 Attempt.

    With the combination of a step-up from Thomas Boyden and a HUGE kick from Leo, this race made out to be a great one for the history books of running.

      Yes... that 3rd lap created the true opportunity for sub-4. Props to all participants, and especially Leo... godlike last lap.

      @@edledskal9147 pretty sure it was a race, pacers drop out, and at least 2-3 others were trying to go at the 4:00 barrier, including cole sprout

    I really enjoyed that. Leo is tough. He ran the last lap in 55 seconds. That is 3:40 mile pace. Thank you Leo. I loved that performance.

    What is also extraordinary to me is that there were no experienced sub four minute milers in the race so he had to do the last lap all on his own!

    Those pacers are terrible, and the one pacer who decided to finish the race was blocking off Allred for the last lap. Just do your job and get off the track.

      I could bet Leo could've dropped a high 3:58 if the pacing was better. Maybe even a low 3:58, he had tons of juice left in him at 200 to go.
