@SLG-Sammed no ur wrong
💥 Nice Run… Nick💥
So has anyone actually tried it? Is it a good pre-work out?
Way to late but it taste good and works
super....
30 seconds in and nick has already plugged rungum
😂😂😂you werent lying😭😭
He’s just trying to market his business. What’s wrong with that?
thanks man don't @ me
Justin K. Can’t do that on a private app
@@justink.6544 There's nothing wrong, it's funny lmaoooo
A sub-4 mile is one of the greatest achievements a middle distance runner can dream of getting.

Nick just takes over the whole video😂
i didn't pick the video to listen to the other guy
i mean it its titled nick symmonds analyzes..
no way your name is actually brogan ive never met someone with my same name WOW
@@broganhanna9838 😂😂😂
@@broganhanna9838 is your nickname “bro” ?
Lincoln didn’t look very happy🤣 it was nick interviewing nick
Yeah I kept on thinking let the other guy talk 😂
Man, I struggle to run faster than 60 for a 400m. And they manage it for 4 laps!
that is still fast
Me too (when I was young). Ran 12x400 @ 64 with 200m recovery job in between, and those 64s felt very fast to me. I could always complete those workouts but each one of those 400s felt not too far from my max speed.
@@scrumpymanjack I’m sorry. You said you ran 12 400’s in one workout?
@@johns.774 yes, why?
@@scrumpymanjack that's alot
This man broke 4 min mile just for the workout
Damn
nick is such a good personality
Hduf Lolly no one asked
Hduf Lolly lmao good job buddy
Benjamin Dover no one asked nick either smartie
KaoticSuper wdym the reporter asked him questions lol jk
Benjamin Dover I’m talking about the guy named nick not nick symmonds lol
Nick's chewing too much Rungum; doesn't let the interviewer do his job. I'd like to have 30% of Nick's charisma.

Savor every moment, and yet flotrack is the one making it the most difficult to do that.

I don’t get it that’s 11 years
For the love of god Nick, let that poor kid interview you! You have to go easy on the RunGum, or soon you may require detox.
Silly! Give the guy a break--who wouldn't mention a company you just started?
Guy in the white was definitely using good strategy because he hung in the middle of the pack for most of the race, drafted off you during most of the last lap and left you on the last straight away.
First sub-4 mile outdoors.. nick said in this vid he ran one indoors before
Yeah he ran 3:56 but I don't know why people say it as if it doesn't count, like no if you ran the time, as long as it's on a track, you ran that time, no more, no less. What is so hard about that?
I ran with the second fastest miler in the world, couple of days ago / age group 60/65 , at under 5:10 pace ,I held on for 20 metres ish ,I was actually pleased with that ,he was a 3x commonwealth Scotland 🏴,I finished a lap off eventually,he’s going for the world record, age group ,soon ,Paul Forbes is his name ,really nice guy
that hurdle at 4:22 tho
Get that man on the steeplechase
Oh my god he on X games mode
He stutter steps a lot but with the right training he might have that steeple down
Nick Symmonds was a bad ass closer would habe liked to see him race dave wottle with a lot of speed to close on see who could close faster.
Nick's times are better than Wottle's but with modern training and updated shoes who knows? Wottle was long legged and lean, and looked like a middle distance runner while Nick is short legged and thickly built and looks like a soccer defender. His performances are astounding for his physical make up.
Nick's performance in this race is great .. a retired 800 runner out performing milers is unbelievable
If you want to learn more about track and running, Symmonds is one you need to listen to
@cyoungrun1 He just said "one" not the only one. Drink some milk and go for run.
cyoungrun1 my guy that’s why he said it. Cause he knows it wouldn’t end up good for you... he was lowkey roasting
cyoungrun1 tf cry
cyoungrun1 stupid anecdote just accept it
the man ran 1:42 in the 800, broke 4 in the mile...he was competitive in the Olympics and the Worlds for a decade...he had access to the best coaches...you'd think gleaning knowledge from Symmonds would be a no-brainer...I wish I had him as a coach when i was younger: maybe i would have stuck with running longer and won a couple more races. just look at the way he deals with young runners in his videos, he's supportive, fun, and smart.
Really cool video/commentary.
As someone that struggles to get below 5:30 this looks insane 😬
You should be proud because I'm at 7:30 haha. I'm aiming for a 6 minute mile. What advice would you give me to improve my mile? Keep running all out miles or slow, long runs?
@@RishabhSharma10225 if what you’re struggling with is endurance than longer runs will help a lot, but if it’s breathing or cramping issues then I would run half miles at a quicker pace until it makes things easier
I felt that "this feels like a marathon to a 800 guy"💀THAT SHIT TRU
Literally me when I'm forced to run the 2 mile when I'm a mile guy XD
"The Bison" was my favorite 800M runner....Not many people have ever gone under 1:43 but Nick did it...............great vid
I joined track because of Nick
Nick is a funny dude, really charismatic and fun to watch.
yeah he is a great fella
Nick is just such an awesome guy
So when did this interview happen? Not now obviously right?
They said it was in December during the big expo.
1337 God December 2019 presumably at the expo
7:57 There is absolutely nothing embarrassing about leading the pack in over a quarter of the race just to get it stolen by some dude conserving all of his energy just for the last 100m.
Yeah I don't get that part, "it's so embarrassing to get blown out by someone who was in the back holding his energy until the last bit of the race" it's like no it's not. That's how races work most of the time.
So much running strength 🤩🤩 good job Nick
Hey Nick....be fun to hear you analyze Jim Ryun Dusseldorf 1500m at age 20..against big Bodo Tummler and Harold Norpoth..tough Germans w big kicks
How common is EPO use amongst these guys?
More common in 100m/200m runners
2006 to 2015 is 11 years quick mafs
lol i was thinking the same thing
9 bro..
Narjay22 no it’s bc the commentator said that
It is easy to interview Nick given both his experience at Pro levels, his technical knowledge of the sport and his narrative fluency. Lincoln is made redundant here
Nice video and commentary. 🏃
Sleeves aren’t cut off. Not real Nick
Hey Nick what too questions how many year's did it take you to run this and how much mileage were you on when you ran it
Wow their voices are the same
Yo
Nick just takes up the whole intier video
If mark rober was into fitness

RUNGUM
does anyone love themself as much as nick symmons
Will Sheaffer loves himself. I wouldn’t bet on it.
He seems to love everyone.

Way to go Nick!
When i know people can do a sub 4 but they dont practice like dogs to break 3:43 i get mad.
What does “sub” mean
Below, under
Would be nice if there was a government program that paid me to run 6 minute mile. Something like a million bucks if I can do it.
I paid nick 10k to make me beat the world record
watching this right before a meet does not ease my nerves
His rungum be packin
jesus loves you
is nick the host?😂
2006 to 2015 = 9 years
I used to run
Awesome Nick
Sling shot?
Ever seen the movie Days of Thunder? That’s where I first heard of the sling shot pass. It’s about car racing but same principle. The runner behind the leader runs in the wind draft so they can move at the same speed with less wind resistance and conserve energy. Then when they want to pass, they move around the leader and slingshot past them. I suppose it seems theoretical (perhaps it’s maybe even psychological) until you experience it. Which I never have. Anyway, good movie. Slingshot pass happens. Tom cruise wins.
@@finch2213 In Nick's case he meant sling shot off the turn. That centrifugal force from running the curve can be used as a boost aka slingshot as you start running in a straight line. The term is used in the 200m a lot which only has one turn outdoors (indoors has 2 turns) and smart sprinters know how to use it while using less energy than other runners and gain an advantage.
Wasn't it his only sub 4 mile ?
They're not six feet apart nicky noo
Rungum is the stupidest product i have ever heard of...
Ya why not just chuck an energy drink right before a run. refreshing 😂
Guys the point is so that u dont throw up an energy drink if u need caffeine lol... no one wants to run after drinking a lot you'll get cramps and feel sick
@@reillymiller1541 Ya I was being sarcastic
Isn't there a Pandemic going on??🤨🤔
Nikhil Mehta he did say December
Flo track is notorious for making sure to wait at least a few months to post their videos. I guess they’re against current content.
Oh may I didn't hear that, my bad!
You’re a pussy
Yeah I'm not brave enough bro.U must be roaming naked on the road these days without Mask and shit, licking every fucking pole. You've got the balls man. Salute
why not at least pretend to care about social distancing?
Pretty sure this was recorded in December 2019 during the Expo. Before quarantine. 0:14
Actual idiot
Oml this happened in December clown
🙄Turn off the news and go outside for some fresh air. For your information coronavirus aerosols can travel 30m in the air (close to 100 feet) so 6 feet of social distancing is pointless. They just wanna see how much you're willing to do and they love the number 6 especially when there are 3 of them in a row.
