I bought the shoes after watching this. Every shoe I ever bought caused me pain in my legs, joints, and back.
At 54 weighing 254 lbs I started running with my pink Vaporfly Next shoes 4 months ago. It was mind blowing. It absorbs impact like nothing I have ever seen. I am now still 54 but weighs 223 lbs and is running every day to every second day on these shoes. Will never buy anything else. No pain running! My mile time went from 10 minutes down to 7:58 and I know I will do better in the future. (I know it is slow...) New life!

@@qh415 Not sure honestly. Yes, for elite runners it makes sense that WR timings would be faster on track since the top track athletes are more comfortable on the track being used to training there and having the highest quality spikes. And world comps and olympics for 5k and 10k distances are run on the track. Technically you should be able to run faster on the harder surface (asphalt) though and I believe this is the case for most amateur runners. But everyone is different.

Now it's about 194 it would seem (or at-least, that's the highest I've recorded this year during sprint intervals) ... so yeah, now 4 minutes in 190's would kill me ha ha.
