i feel like week 2 was the perfect time to do this wildcard. everyone has their basics so while overwhelming its fairly easy to focus on just finding food sources, and it also slows the early game food prep with most ignoring traditional food
@@angryrollofbread true. i think my favorite example of this was back in limited life everyone had 24 lives (technically. not counting the actual time ticking down). so to compensate for that, they made it so that yellows could kill greens, which added such a fun interlude where pvp was enabled during most of the middle segments and then things quietened down, and then perked back up again during the final two episodes
From this episode alone I can tell there is going to be so many headcannons and fanfictions from this. Pear slowly succumbing to red, BigB's skin, Scott's creaking heart heart (apparently making him ancient because he creaks or something)... And I'm am so excited for it!

Pearl I loved this session! I love that Impulse let you in on secret plans so you could tell him your goal. I love the messiness of the interactions between Pearl and Scott and Cleo in the past (characters, since you said you like the clarification) so I love that this is extending with you and Impulse keeping secrets from those two. This team will become a mess and I'm so excited to see it!
