- Wild Life smp is back, this week we start trying to make friends. Although it is a rocky start, by the end of the episode we seem to have some great alliances! Joel and I also build more of our base, with me building a friendly barn to honor the first episode cow drama.

i was suffering watching Scar who was my first perspective on this wildcard because when they discovered food isn't fooding, my first thought immediately was ‹try literally anything else›. it seemed like exactly the kind of twist Grian would be all for. I think the trick to understanding these is to imagine you're not in your right mind, and the riddle solves itself lol
And grians team were struggling, mumbo and skizz both died almost instantly

Not sure which was funnier, Bdubs grumpily correcting Gem that it was a deepslate shack, and not a cobblestone shack or Lizzie telling Gem her teammates were dumb and then Gem pointing out she has own idiot, which is Lizzie's husband
The husband to me is the funny one 😆

That has got to be one of yhe best quotes of this season so far.

Gem and Joel's base is like the center of a sitcom XD So many people passing through and gossiping and doing various shenanigans
They're like Switzerland no one's gonna mess with them
their pov is surprisingly calm, they are just watching chaos happening and everybody dying in the background

Gem in the life series was one of the best decisions ever. Her exasperation toward all the idiots, who have maybe become a little TOO comfortable with all these lives, is so funny. And her and Lizzie with the focus on building pretty things in a death server is peak
If I am remembering it was just the one time she was asked by Cleo to play for her on Limited life and (this part just a side thing said may not be true) then she never left the discord so she was there for Secret life and so on

@@-Solidwater He can be when you're not on his side, but I believe he has also sacrificed his life for others more times than anyone else. He did it in Last Life when he was the boogeyman and wouldn't kill his teammates in Double Life so Pearl could win countless times in Limited Life, and he did it again in Secret Life for Gem. He can definitely be ruthless, though!
I think of Scott as a wolf in sheep's clothing, only he is actually nice and then randomly... Let's call it gets hungry.
Someone on another POV had a _very_ good point, that finishing last is what you're TRYING to do in a last-person-standing battle.

I love that this episode came out roughly before others. Gem's session was so peaceful and happy and I"m so sure every other video today is going to be complete and utter chaos, I can't wait.

The rest of the server is absolute chaos, meanwhile Gem is out here living her best life, building a barn, delivering flowers, bonding with Lizzie over their idiots. Amazing.

Your POV is so calm and cozy, you got the best food from the beginning and things that continued being good foods even through the changes. And in the meanwhile, other people's POVs are so chaotic and hard, always about to die from not choosing the right foods xD
I love Gem going with the flow. She's happy and laughing and I just hope she feels happier than last season

I think it would be really funny if you and joel together made an actual really nice build in this series which then gets blown up later on cause both of you build such amazing stuff so quickly

One of the things I love about you and the other hermits throughout the life series and hermitcraft and all of them etc, is it doesn’t feel like their are strong cliques everyone gets along so well (aside from the faux cold shoulder for the bit) but it’s such a pure and wholesome friendship between you all it’s beautiful to watch
This might end up being my favorite season. Grian knew what he was doing: combining the chaos of the wild cards and the players to make one of the funniest sessions ever.

I actually love the dynamic of these two its so silly how Joel is always irritated and gem having to calm him down the two of them have the funniest dynamic in the life series yet. Also I think its very funny how everyone is afraid of them truly peek comedy.
Absolutely love this season so far! Extra incentives to make alliances and enemies while green, while also adding to the thrill of just surviving, but also being funny!
I'm about halfway through this week's videos and it really does feel like Gem and Joel were playing a completely different game! Their approach was so calm and logical compared to everyone else. They got on with proper building while everyone else was running around like headless chickens 😂 I wasn't sure about this pairing at first, but I think they're gonna go far!

i know this is only the second episode but I already feel like this is gonna be my favourite one, it's just so funny! I love random stuff like this, having to literally eat rocks, shovels, dirt, any random thing, to stop being hungry is just so hilarious to me. xD
