That was a very minor honk, if they are going to brake check over _that_ then they have serious issues! Zipper merging is the superior method though, but you alternate every other car, flooring it at the last second in order to be the car that is technically ahead isn't very safe.
Because of this channel I got a dash cam in 2019 and it was so worth the money. If you have a car get a dash cam, preferably one that records the front and rear.
Believe me - you won't notice it after 3rd day of passing by. And the SUV could keep standing at the stop while enjoying the view instead of running into a trouble.
@@canseast8824 I would definitely notice! This kind of colour is fleeting, and welcomely vibrant before the winter doldrum shades of grey. I still obey laws, and stop signs. Being distracted by lovely trees, construction, pedestrians etc, is all part of driving. You always have to pay attention to the road first. Sorry I didn’t say that in my first comment.
@@kateb5233 Actually it looks like the driver didn't follow the "check left, right, then left again before going" rule. It exists specifically for the reason demonstrated in the clip - by the time you finish looking right, a car on your left which was previous hidden from view may have appeared, and you're going to block his path first.
5:43 The comment at the dnd of this refers to a 'speed limit' on the ramp. But we don't know what that limit is, and in BC there are no limits on exit or entrance ramps usually, just some black on yellow warning signs. That way, vehicles are able to adjust their speed from highway to municipality (or vice versa) smoothly, keeping everything moving safely and efficiently.

BAD mistake when caught! Even worse mistake if getting into a crash even if it wasn't her fault.) Just curious - which country do you live in? Yeah I get out of truckers blind spots asap but the trucker is still responsible. They have mirrors for a reason and most have blind spot mirrors also. I even have blind spot mirrors on my car's side mirrors. The truckers often don't even bother to make sure no one is there before changing lanes.
5:47 - Black on yellow are advisory speeds for moving trucks on bald tires in rain (they are suggestions and are always far lower than an average car can take them), not speed limits. Why don't know more people know this? You were both acting like jerks. 7:56 - Yeah, he kept going like nothing happened because nothing did happen. What did you expect them to do?
When a lane ends and another vehicle cuts in front of you - even if that driver is a dangerous jerk - you gain NOTHING by being aggressive and not letting the other vehicle in. In fact you will very likely damage your own car - duh.
It is amazing how little some people seem to care about their cars. Even if I have nowhere better to be and have a _grantee_ the other person will be at fault _and_ pay for the damage in full, I still don't want my car smashed!
0:40 ok good you had the dashcam but if it's not recording from within the sweep of your wipers, it might have zero visibility when you need it. You got lucky.
Video #8 2:45 Gary L. - I would bet their Electronic Stability Control (ESC) was a big factor in this driver not ending up spinning out. ILR Car Control School
Most of these cammers could have stopped, or just slow down rather than being confrontational, accelerate, or honk, or ultimately run into the other vehicles. I get it, but they could avoid it all. They can see the other cars far ahead, doing something wrong, and they had plenty of time to slow down or stop but chose to get angry, upset, and ultimately be involved in an accident!
I really don't get it, when I see someone on the road doing something dumb, chances are good the next thing they do will be even dumber, so I want to be as far away from them as possible!
6:53 Most collisions occur because of a combination of factors, and this near-crash is an example of that! The pickup truck driver loaded those pallets so they overhung both sides of his vehicle, so he had no interior mirror and limited right door mirror view. Plus that's an awkward angle. He's a fool of course, because he never bothered signalling right and probably still hasn't figured out how the convex part of the mirror works ...
Okay, this is like an ad, but I have to drive around with you people, so I'm going to leave it here anyway. For anyone who needs new tires: I have Michelin "Crossclimate 2" tires. Let me tell you, they've lasted an eternity and drive in the rain like the puddles don't exist. Haven't tried them in the snow, but they're supposed to be excellent (for an all-season tire). I've always bothered with decent tires, but this is the first set I've ever felt was worth telling other people to go get.
My dad has Crossclimate 2's on his 2014 Chevy Equinox and has been very happy with them. From what I understand, they aren't even all season tires, but rather snow tires that use a new rubber compound that doesn't wear out super fast in the summer. Planning to test them on the Chevy vs. my 2015 Subaru Forester with normal all seasons this winter, I might still have the advantage in traction due to AWD, but I want to see how the Crossclimate 2's compare when it comes to stopping distance, which is far more important.
Less accident and road rages would occur if the camera in some of these videos would learn common courtesy. Who cares if the other car is in front of you. As long as they are not driving way below the speed limit and impeding in you in any matter, let it go! Let it go and less conflicts will happen. Thank you.
1:29 has a full 5 seconds to stop and waited until the last second to dive off to the shoulder :| Granted the person behind you should have had a greater following distance but wouldn't be shocked if insurance faulted both.
@@spamlessaccount The last car had an open lane on their left as well. Was only about a second behind the second car. Main thing I taught my daughter when driving is to always have a ton of distance between yourself and the cars in front of you to help avoid situations like this. Also if being tailgated double the distance in front as the tailgater reaction time will also be a factor.
Yup. Yup and yup. Leaving sufficient distance isn't easy these days, but it can literally safe your life and those of others. People want in? Let 'em, you can make funny faces at 'em when you wind up at the same stoplight anyway.....
3:54 If you didn't cut them off that wouldn't have happened. Lemme guess...turned on your signal and just moved over. 'I'm changing lanes, good luck to the rest of you' 6:40 If you weren't following 50 feet away at 70mph you probably would have had better reaction time.
Cammer needed to move over due to an emergency vehicle. Zipper method would be implemented into the traffic pattern so the flow of traffic isn’t halted. Cammer should’ve waited for it to be clear. Yes. Over taking car over reacted. Yes.
That was one of those "Well that other car did a dumb mov... WTF is the camer doing?!?" Like your a little annoyed at the initial thing the other car did, but then the camer does something so much worse you want to punch them!
perfect example of why when you see dumbasses like the tesla, you pick up your speed and force their asses to either eat cones of learn how to use the brakes.
2:24 #7 What an _American_ truck hitting an _American_ spec car, with _American_ plates, while driving on the side of the road they drive on in _America!_
11. Obviously driving way to fast for snowy conditions which is why you couldn’t swerve or stop in time for the guy driving through the stop sign and hitting you
#1 the trees are gorgeous! #10 looks more like the cammer moved over on top of the car. Doesn’t excuse the road rage but don’t cast stones when you live in a glass house. #14 why not just let the Tesla merge? Both acted like brats. #15 🤦🏼♀️ children
#7... The truck driver shouldn't have changed lanes into the Porsche. However, I give trucks plenty of space. Sure, I might technically be in the right, but in a collision... my car is going to get the worst of it. Any "principle" isn't worth it.
We had that for a couple of years here when they rearranged the intersection of the two giant roads, so to go on one you now had to get to the opposite side of the road as before. Once I saw a truck loaded with kitchen table-top granite weaving back and forth, and I stuck my hand out the window and pointed him the right way, since I knew the area he was going to. It was pretty amusing. Learned to not be beside any trucks for that mile or two, until everything got updated a couple years later.
1:16 You are 100% correct on the merging laws of Utah. Zipper method is now on the books too but, as you have hopefully figured out, that's not how it works around the 'Valley.' How it works: Shoot the gap, they have brakes; never be afraid to put your 5' wide car into a 4' wide gap, take the shot, they'll move; be late for everything and expect people to understand that since you're on 'Mormon Standard Time' (leave house when meeting starts) cause, you know, everyone here is a mind reader, BUT, take time to brake check and yell at people when you are the who is totally wrong; speed limits are for sissies; take offence at any and all when stupidity is called out; act out like a primary child; rage mode is the default setting; prove you're the bigger idiot but never in the wrong; snow schmo, summer tires with half-tread are just fine. These and many more are the 'social norms' of the SLC valley.
I have found for the most part what the law says and what people do are 2 different things. Have also found how they act in stores is how they act while driving.
@@22gonefishing Yes, that is apparent. But the person behind the cammer decided to follow the onto the shoulder and hit them instead of using the extra space they now had for braking.
It's taught in driver's ed. But there are so few of them in the U.S. that most people probably forget how within a few years. Since they never encounter one, the rule (yield to traffic in the circle) doesn't get reinforced in their memory.

5:55 Jerk doesn't like that i do the sped limit so I threaten to hit him with my car when he cut me off.
Nice complication done by you brother
Great video 🙏🏼
1:19 Do more research, it appears to be a zipper merge and they were ahead, therefore have right of way. Honking your horn is what triggered that reaction by them, chill.
but, but, the Tesla got in front of me, no one should be in front of me.
That was a very minor honk, if they are going to brake check over _that_ then they have serious issues! Zipper merging is the superior method though, but you alternate every other car, flooring it at the last second in order to be the car that is technically ahead isn't very safe.
The last clip was just someone playing out the dream we all have: straight line through the roundabout 😂
Because of this channel I got a dash cam in 2019 and it was so worth the money. If you have a car get a dash cam, preferably one that records the front and rear.
First video, I would have been distracted by the row of crimson red trees too.
Glad nobody, and nothing was hurt/damaged
The whole town looks like that, it's amazing
What beautiful trees 😍
Didn't know we drove on the left and had European signage and plates in North America.

Its a sad situation when you can actually find enough content to make a 9 minute video about the idiots on the road! Im grateful that you post them though! Im trying to show my daughter what its like out there! she's almost 22 yrs old and doesnt have a license...for lack of a car ...She is a good driver but we cant afford the test and the vehicle...and all the other crap that comes with it! 😁
Actually, there's WAY more crap out there. When your daughter gets her license, tell get to get some good driver's ed (even if you think she's a good driver). Even if you don't have a car, try to get her licensed ASAP (how do you know she is a good driver if she isn't allowed to drive yet, due to no license? I'd suspect she's driving without a license. BAD mistake when caught! Even worse mistake if getting into a crash even if it wasn't her fault.)
Just curious - which country do you live in? My assumptions might be wrong (I live in Germany, getting a license here costs around 2000 Euros, much more than a cheap used car)...

2:30 - Be aware of your surroundings!
If you notice a semi about to be in your blind spot, change that!
Yeah I get out of truckers blind spots asap but the trucker is still responsible. They have mirrors for a reason and most have blind spot mirrors also. I even have blind spot mirrors on my car's side mirrors. The truckers often don't even bother to make sure no one is there before changing lanes.
Considering the truck is right hand drive, they saw the Porsche, it wasn't in a blind spot.

5:42 no fam, you’re the AH. It’s called zippering. Get over it and let the poor guy in.
shame the tesla doesn't know how to do that, cammer was perfectly right in what he did.
That last one took me out😂
0:40 ok good you had the dashcam but if it's not recording from within the sweep of your wipers, it might have zero visibility when you need it. You got lucky.

"Mr. Pallets" Dying!
Thanks, Ill be taking a look. Still miss my old tires, they quit making them for my size and havent found one I like as much since.
#19 Don't bother telling us you weren't speeding. That just tells us you were speeding. (Plus we have eyes!)
We also have calculators and standardized lane markings. He's doing 52/53.
I need that hood ornament! And I love driving over roundabouts
Less accident and road rages would occur if the camera in some of these videos would learn common courtesy. Who cares if the other car is in front of you. As long as they are not driving way below the speed limit and impeding in you in any matter, let it go! Let it go and less conflicts will happen. Thank you.

1:19 Law or no law, anyone with common sense, (and not sitting on it), would yield to oncoming traffic.
Compilation 506 should be called the "Cammer Hurt Ego Compilation".
1:29 Jesus was being born when you had enough time to notice the stopped traffic. Clearly not paying attention
1:29 has a full 5 seconds to stop and waited until the last second to dive off to the shoulder :| Granted the person behind you should have had a greater following distance but wouldn't be shocked if insurance faulted both.
Cammer was texting or distracted by something else for sure.
Both the cammer and the guy behind him should have done what the guy in front did.
Bad attention/reactions x3 on that one. Car in front of cammer dives left. Cammer dives right. Car behind cammer dives left and STILL hits him. SMH
'I'm changing lanes, good luck to the rest of you'
6:40 If you weren't following 50 feet away at 70mph you probably would have had better reaction time.
People can't do the zipper merge in a fast food drive thru, Idk why I keep expect people to get it where it really matters.
@ 3:30, cammers description gives it all away. You cut them off, people don’t just randomly overtake you like that
Cammer needed to move over due to an emergency vehicle. Zipper method would be implemented into the traffic pattern so the flow of traffic isn’t halted. Cammer should’ve waited for it to be clear. Yes. Over taking car over reacted. Yes.
They also impeded traffic at 3:53 to intentionally get side to side with the Elantra
I see the shock therapy is working for the TESLA driver
Amazing how many cammers like to submit video evidence of what jackasses they are behind the wheel.
Number 19s description 😂😂
Last video is something I may want to try that way I do not have to worry about people who do not know how to use a traffic circle.
Break checking, the game for chickens.
Several of these road rage clips make you wonder why people have to make such a big deal over a minor incident.
Great video, but 5:26, yeah the other driver shouldn’t have done that, but you certainly shouldn’t have tried to cause a crash like that.
This is why you shouldn't get to the blindspots of trucks.

#7... The truck driver shouldn't have changed lanes into the Porsche. However, I give trucks plenty of space. Sure, I might technically be in the right, but in a collision... my car is going to get the worst of it. Any "principle" isn't worth it.
8:11 my guess is old GPS version
We had that for a couple of years here when they rearranged the intersection of the two giant roads, so to go on one you now had to get to the opposite side of the road as before. Once I saw a truck loaded with kitchen table-top granite weaving back and forth, and I stuck my hand out the window and pointed him the right way, since I knew the area he was going to. It was pretty amusing. Learned to not be beside any trucks for that mile or two, until everything got updated a couple years later.
And they should have kept the barrier up farther down the road so no one can cut across to that exit.
@@22gonefishing I was going to say - if they "spent a lot of money" they should have spent it on jersey barriers instead of paint.
5:05 - Solid impact
3:35 you obviously bullied your way over, and somehow surprised that somebody else got mad at you.
7:20 car has PA plates, not MD. You can tell by the blue stripe at the top.
1:16 You are 100% correct on the merging laws of Utah. Zipper method is now on the books too but, as you have hopefully figured out, that's not how it works around the 'Valley.'
How it works: Shoot the gap, they have brakes; never be afraid to put your 5' wide car into a 4' wide gap, take the shot, they'll move; be late for everything and expect people to understand that since you're on 'Mormon Standard Time' (leave house when meeting starts) cause, you know, everyone here is a mind reader, BUT, take time to brake check and yell at people when you are the who is totally wrong; speed limits are for sissies; take offence at any and all when stupidity is called out; act out like a primary child; rage mode is the default setting; prove you're the bigger idiot but never in the wrong; snow schmo, summer tires with half-tread are just fine. These and many more are the 'social norms' of the SLC valley.
Are you sure you didn't describe the entire North America?
I have found for the most part what the law says and what people do are 2 different things. Have also found how they act in stores is how they act while driving.
Hey, Rob from Buffalo? Clips 12 and 14? You okay, bud? Seems like something's buggin' ya.
2:38 Though I have often ragged on Porsche drivers, the Porsche was in the right here. (There is a good chance the trucker couldn't see him.)

But the person behind the cammer decided to follow the onto the shoulder and hit them instead of using the extra space they now had for braking.
How hard is to drive a roundabout? I like in California where we don’t have them a lot, bc I can tell you I can do it!
It's taught in driver's ed. But there are so few of them in the U.S. that most people probably forget how within a few years. Since they never encounter one, the rule (yield to traffic in the circle) doesn't get reinforced in their memory.
