That's not what he's saying. The truck was the last vehicle in the incident who had to swerve around the cammer. Cammer said the truck didn't have enough following distance to the white Honda in front of them.
0:14 The most annoying is when the person who is blatantly in the wrong honks at you or shakes their head at you! LOL - yes that's what I'm realizing after a cross country trip and watching a bunch of these videos. Each state/region seems to have distinctive backgrounds and ways to design their streets, highways, buildings, etc. The Mexico clips for example are always obvious at a single glance.
I'd say most likely the driver in the blue car backing up on the highway was probably having transmission problems and the car would only go in reverse so to get it somewhere to get it fixed he had to drive it that way. i'd say he was probably just doing that in short bursts so as not to cause too much issue on the road but also not to get a ticket while getting it there. it wouldn't be the first time i'd see that happen!
I was at a stop light yesterday and a guy on my left pulled up in the left turn lane all illegal, and the light went green and he came in front of me from his right and I honked and he gave me the finger so, I gave it to his sister.

0:21 - If I drove a Honda Insight, I'd probably try to total it out too. 😛 1:38 - I'm not sure what the posted speed limit is, but you're going between 40 and 45 mph, which seems perfectly reasonable given the road's width, gentle curves, and generous sight lines. You were maintaining a consistent following distance, neither gaining on nor falling back from the car in front of you - in other words, you were traveling with the traffic flow. I know you don't need justification, but it's pretty clear to me that you weren't "flying." 6:30 - Drivers like this are why many cars come equipped with Traction Control.
#2 "Drivers of North Carolina" was 100% in the wrong here. Didn't he see that guy who thought he was absolutely entitled to run everyone else off the road, even without a turn signal? How dare you inconvenience that ugly little car... 🤣🤣🤣
7:01 The person was already 2 tires into the street while you were kind of accelerating from 12-13mph to 24mph in like 2-3 seconds then stopping probably a 1/4-1/2 a car length at the tail end of him reversing. It happens pretty and it's irritating b/c from where the cammer was, you would've seen him backing up. Regardless, I would not be that close to someone backing up in case the person forgets to put it into Drive then bam......... =P
First, every state that I've been in it is against the law to back into a travel lane. Second, cammer came around a limited sight corner and stopped with plenty of room to spare. The guy pulling out was being a d**k, period. He would have sat there being an ass clown if that car coming the other way hadn't shown up. He had plenty of room to complete his illegal maneuver, otherwise the cammer would have had to backup. Just maybe he should learn the rules of the road and then learn to either turn around in his driveway, or how to safely back in.
@@paulday4763 This is a neighborhood and one should expect someone backing out of their driveway. Yes, it may be illegal for someone to back up into the street but how many officers/deputies are really pulling someone over and citing them for backing out of their driveway. From the camera view, yes, the view would've been blocked, from the driver side view, I would've been able to see it and I drive a low car. Plus if someone is turning right with a car parked on the corner, one should be a bit more cautious. The road he was on was a bit smaller should've taken the turn a bit more cautiously. The car was 3/4 of the way on the street even in the camera's view so the I'd call him "not being able to see him" BS. Maybe he did have plenty of room to backup but would you really want to be behind someone w/ just enough room or more room in case someone forgets to put the car in drive from reverse? Probably not. I don't trust any driver on the road.
At 7:56 the cammer says cars turning in a parking lot have to give way. WRONG. At an uncontrolled intersection (like in parking lots), the vehicle on the right has the right of way. It has nothing to do with who is going straight. The woman had the right of way and the cammer was supposed to yield
I don't think so. I think it was one of those police-wanna-be idiots that deck their vehicle out to be a police vehicle. Looks like puck antennas on the trunk, has the push bar on front. I can also see a partition on the inside. Could also be private security or dog unit.
15. Stop swerving left into traffic to avoid an accident because then you’ll actually be the one to cause it. If you’re near the shoulder, USE THE SHOULDER… that’s why it’s there.
1:45 While I know you have to take everything stated on the internet wit ha HUGE grain of salt, it's crazy how many people say "the guy was flying!" or something similar when they clearly forgot to look before moving.
I don't think it's because they're intentionally lying. People build up a mental map of what's going on around them. If their map doesn't include a car approaching from the left because they forgot to look, and after they pull out they look left and suddenly there's a car there, the logical conclusion (based on their flawed mental map) is because that car must have been flying to have gotten there so quickly. Anyhow, that clip is the exact reason why you're supposed to look left, right, left again before pulling out.
Something like that happened to me and a friend when we'd first gotten our drivers licenses. Leaving school and another kid pulled out from where he was parked on the side of the street, directly into the side of my friends truck as we were driving past him. He later tried telling the insurance company that we came flying around a corner right before he pulled out from where he was parked. The insurance company came back with "ok, so you basically just admitted fault".
They really need to lengthen and make the drivers test in America a lot harder. Also make it to where you can’t cheat and can’t do “special favors” for your drivers portion. Happens a lot.

Better-looking than the pocket-van that now flaunts the nameplate. 4:16 Well, to play devil's advocate here, at least the girl driving the blue car ran *towards* the car she hit, instead of *away* from it. Not too often I see somebody rush over to somebody they hit to check on them. 5:16 Just uninsured? Not stolen? Some others who have commented on this footage in other compilations opined that the car may have been stolen. They sure acted like they stole it...in fact, they acted like they wanted to run away before La Migra came on the scene to rope them. 6:21 Not very confident that footage could be used in court. A wily lawyer could argue it inadmissible because the date/time stamp doesn't match with the alleged date/time of the incident his client is being prosecuted over. That, folks, is why it's *imperative* to read the instructions that come with your dash-camera setup, especially the part about setting the date/time. It is a serious legal shield. This tidbit of legal advice comes to you, free of charge, from a retired paralegal. 6:50 Damn 'Stanks. On the other hand, at least it wasn't a Camaro; *those* drivers are nearly twice as obnoxious as 'Stank drivers (though still not quite *the* most obnoxious drivers on American roads). 7:51 Bunch-a savages in that state... 8:45 Too much Ram, not enough Dodge...

8:50 dude... you can see how things are, just lay off the gas a moment, it won't hurt. Complaining about the truck driver - well OK I guess, but that was basically nothing. Unnecessary drama
Why am I not surprised #13 didnt have insurance and did the stupid crap they did.....
7:31 You almost caused a second accident because you forgot that you shouldn't be going that speed next to stopped vehicles for the exact reason we see on your own video.
Don't get me wrong the other car needed to do a better job but 100% don't speed by stopped or extremally slow moving traffic.
always expect a car getting out of a stopped lane
not to mention that the cammer seems to have forgotten what the blades at the base of their windshield do, or how they are controlled...
Wrong, nice victim blaming.
@@johnt.848 There wasn't an accident so there's no victims in this case but thank you for pointing out that the person trying to change lanes was also a potential victim in this clip.
5:03 Illegal Aliens unlawfully operating a motorized vehicle???
@1:25 I will say, at least he went straight to the shoulder and stayed there instead of trying to guess which way the other driver would swerve, which almost always ends in a head on. So there's that.
Also good job by the cammer squeezing as far to the right as he could, in case opposing traffic needed to intrude into his lane to avoid a head-on.
Awesome video
5:00. Damn that other driver really can’t drive smh. No traffic and you still rear ended someone. Tragic.
Anyone want to talk about what it was they were carrying out of the car? Was that a toddler?

No, you're not.
1:39 No.5 Why can't they just admit when they're in the wrong.
6:02 No.16 No doubt their high speed in the wet didn't help either.

7:00 that suv absolutely had the right of way
8:22 that was a huge overreaction
3:06 He got carried away, literally.
3:00, Someone should add the Benny Hill theme to that
People just don’t care about running through stop signs or stoping at red lights any more, every time I stop at one I wait at least five seconds before going out.
I certainly don't care about stoping at red lights as I'm not sure what that even is. I absolutely do care about stopping at red lights though. 😉
5 seconds is a bit absurdly long time to wait. Just look both ways before your proceed. If it looks like someone isn't going to stop, don't go
@@entarr2604 I don’t want to risk getting in to a accident because some idiot ran the red light.
@@tdog4891 you risk getting rear ended or having someone road rage at you because you wait a full 5 seconds before going. Just look both ways before going, kinda like crossing a street as a pedestrian. Do you also wait 5 seconds at a crosswalk? You're safer (more protected) in your vehicle than walking
5:20 If you go frame by frame near the onramp sped up video, and the short sped up video after, you can actually tell/see the cammer brake check the car behind them. As we say here, 1) Sped up video tries to hide things, and 2) people don't just react like that "for no reason". Brake checking a few times is a reason.
Regardless, when the other driver starts with the extreme stupid, pull over & let him go.

4:45 the utter stupidity it takes to veer across multiple lanes of the interstate, ALL the way across, after following too closely to stop, wow.
1:16 Your second sentence makes no sense. Why would the driver behind you be responsible for the stopping distance for the driver behind them?
That's not what he's saying. The truck was the last vehicle in the incident who had to swerve around the cammer. Cammer said the truck didn't have enough following distance to the white Honda in front of them.
Several incidents here that could be solved by easing off the gas pedal for two seconds.
5:08 The important thing is that the dog is fine.
4:08 Well you don't see that very often. The person who caused the accident actually more concerned about the other person than their own vehicle!

Anyone else have the ability to identify what state the drivers are in just by how the intersections/highways look
LOL - yes that's what I'm realizing after a cross country trip and watching a bunch of these videos. Each state/region seems to have distinctive backgrounds and ways to design their streets, highways, buildings, etc. The Mexico clips for example are always obvious at a single glance.

The person driving in reverse drives better backwards than a lot of other drivers driving forward. He was probably just feeling like Burt Reynolds.
0:05 I think she was expecting you to make a stop for non existent pedestrians ;-)

7:00 His deal is you crawling up his ass. (Surprised Pikachu face). You already know, dude.

8:40 Where are all the pedestrians in danger? I don't see a sole for as far as the eye can see. Apparently the mustang that came thru wiped them all out prior to your clip
Wooo
0:21 - If I drove a Honda Insight, I'd probably try to total it out too. 😛
1:38 - I'm not sure what the posted speed limit is, but you're going between 40 and 45 mph, which seems perfectly reasonable given the road's width, gentle curves, and generous sight lines. You were maintaining a consistent following distance, neither gaining on nor falling back from the car in front of you - in other words, you were traveling with the traffic flow. I know you don't need justification, but it's pretty clear to me that you weren't "flying."
6:30 - Drivers like this are why many cars come equipped with Traction Control.
Honda Insights get crazy good gas mileage. With Biden in office and the chip shortage, the last thing you want is to total that car.
#2 "Drivers of North Carolina" was 100% in the wrong here. Didn't he see that guy who thought he was absolutely entitled to run everyone else off the road, even without a turn signal? How dare you inconvenience that ugly little car... 🤣🤣🤣
5:12 It's what you do if you stole the car.
When your dash cam comment is, driver in front vehicle didn't give enough stopping distance for rear vehicle, you don't understand how driving works.
Ive seen all of this in person, people r insane.
I think the GPS speed has a lot of delay. Also my dashcam has it. After the cammer saw the guy backing up, he braked.
@@gabriele_diecast4836 Yeah depends on the cam. But it's only a about a 1/4 -1/2 sec delay. I use it all the time when I track my car
Yeah, camera driver got WAY too close to the person backing out of the driveway. Which is probably why he opened up his door to say something.
5:13 dope bros. XD

7:49 Curious how you know the driver was coming from Massachusetts solely based on the license plate attached to the vehicle they are driving?
@5:20 I love to see fellow dashcamers from Omaha! The drivers here are terrible.
If I did not have a horn I couldn't drive and a dashcam.
5:45. Lmfaoo wow.
At 7:56 the cammer says cars turning in a parking lot have to give way. WRONG. At an uncontrolled intersection (like in parking lots), the vehicle on the right has the right of way. It has nothing to do with who is going straight. The woman had the right of way and the cammer was supposed to yield
@5:19, Was that an unmarked car?
I don't think so. I think it was one of those police-wanna-be idiots that deck their vehicle out to be a police vehicle. Looks like puck antennas on the trunk, has the push bar on front. I can also see a partition on the inside. Could also be private security or dog unit.
@@Lightjug okay. I feel as if things like that should be illegal.
0:45 The Honda and the Nissan both made abrupt lane changes to avoid rear ending the cammer. Both responsible.
3:57 The red is off on that Shell station
5:00 what the actual f*** is happening?? 🤦🏻♂️

2:07 "maybe he was high" YEAH on METH.. no pot head would friggen do that..
If you lose control of a 4 banger Mustang, you know you suck at life.
They really need to lengthen and make the drivers test in America a lot harder. Also make it to where you can’t cheat and can’t do “special favors” for your drivers portion. Happens a lot.
7:37 Slow down dude. You never go those speeds with stand still traffic right next to you for this very reason. Kinda on you as well.
Especially in the rain and at night!
9:03 Just GIVE WAAYYY. It is so EASY.

@5:24 - the sped up footage was to hide the cammer's brake check of the other nutjob (playback at 0.25 speed and you'll see it).
1:09 Well, at least they all knew what purpose the lighted bunion in the back is supposed to serve...ohh, I know that highway! I know about 65% of San Antonio.
1:33 Keeps driving like that, that small suv is going to end up significantly smaller, in the very near future.
1:55 Bunch-a savages in that state...
2:40 Personally, I preferred when they pasted the name "Pacifica" on the suv model; that had an almost car-like appearance, like a lifted station wagon.
