This was a lot of fun to make! I'm looking forward to the next test that we are planning!!
Can't wait!
Works on my car windows to preventing fogging on the inside. Put a drop on a fiber cloth, spread in circular motions on the entire window, then rub with newspaper until dry & clear.
Lasts for a long time (or until you decide to clean the windows, then the shaving cream must be reapplied).
Glad I found this great video! I tried the Nivea alcohol free shave cream on my glasses. Left it on for 5 minutes & wiped off with paper towel & then microfiber cloth. Seems very successful. I went to the mall & wearing a KN95 mask had virtually no fogging at all as I walked around the mall & went into various shops. It was a low humidity day though so I will try again.
Awesome!
I've also heard of dish soap working also. It may be interesting to see you guys found out if this works or not!
That will be next!!
We do the dish soap hack. Worked great at Disney.
No idea which will work but in the EDGE of my seat waiting for the results!! Lol
lol, You and me both!
Whatbis actually best to shave with?
LOL, I actually snagged the Cremo afterwards,a and I really like that one!
So it's Gillette Shaving foam? That's all?
Wow genuine in simplicity
Keeping it simple is the best!
I think the Giletteeete will win
Hey sir, I'm 16. I think I have a stigma because ya know my eye site isn't perfect but it isn't horrible neither it's in between damn I wish I could see a little better. I'd say I couldn't see big bold letters about 3 inches big if they were 5 feet to 4 feet away from me on a mounted TV I wanted to know if I could wear eye contacts prescription with 0.0 power just for photos and cosmetic purposes like going out for maybe 7-10 hours only for school or going out to the mall. Maybe most likely 6 at the least. I have experience with them. Putting contacts in my eyes. It's easy. And I intend on going to the eye doctor to get glasses put wanted to know your opinion. I just don't wanna go blind it's my fear. And I wanted to know if it is ok and since the contacts lenses are only 0.0 power and isn't the same as seeing is it ok if I wear my proscribe glasses over my cosmetic or is that a absolute no no?
Great question, Qracked! First, you do need to make sure to let your eye doctor know that you would like to wear color contacts because there are areas on the surface of the eye that we must watch carefully to make sure the contacts are just right for you shape-wise (the curvature of the front of your eye vs. the contact lens shape), that your eyes are okay with that particular CL material, and to make sure you don't have complications in the future due to misuse or anything else. Second, whether you have astigmatism or not, anybody can use contact lenses as long as their eye and the contacts are "compatible."
I have many patients that use color contacts with their glasses, and it will not cause any problems as long as you follow the "rules of contacts." lol, I hope this helps, and I hope to see you around on this channel again!!
LOL -- I hadn't heard of this! Interesting results -- Love it, leave it on 3-5 and then wipe. I have a question/concern though -- what about the frames? Also, what did you use to wash off, tap water? Thanks for the fun!
I wouldn't think that the shaving cream would have any affect on the frame because you really don't want to put much on the lens. And, yes we did just use tap water. Another aspect that we didn't specify is whether or not the lens coatings will play a part in their effectiveness. When I used most of our anti-fog products on my glasses that have Varilux Prevencia, the anti-fog effect doesn't last past 2 wipes after applying. I guess we have another video to make!! LOL
Is this safe to do??
I wouldn't recommend using anything with strong fragrances because it could irritate the eyes.
Works well on car windows.
I noticed a film afterwards that caused a little glare when I tried on my car windows.
Will this procedure harm the anti reflective lenses?
That's a great question! I have not come across any shaving creams that contains ingredients that are know to affect AR coatings. Alcohol is an ingredient that can affect coatings, but most creams no longer use it anymore. So far, I haven't had a patient who has had issues with their coatings and admit that they are a frequent shaving cream user on their glasses. I just wanted to confirm whether or not the claim was valid, but I'd still rather use a product that was made for lenses. Those are found in an earlier video. ;)
Thanks for watching!
Very interesting video.
Glad you think so!
For my swimming goggles I literally spit in them and wipe it in, then rinse. That works great for me. I'll have to try the shaving cream.
@@janetshanks556 yes, that will be in the next test and then we'll see which one is the ultimate winner!!
@@janetshanks556 There is an actual product that we have tried call Spit, but hey, all natural may be something we try at the end. But not quite "COVID approved" LOL
굿굿
Thank you!
Didn't tell us in the results of you rinsed it or wiped it on the ones you let sit ... Wasted my time
Thanks for watching! The best results we found were from just wiping off the cream, not rinsing.
GET TO THE POINT! >:-C
Lol, this video is for those who want to see the process to make sure we are not playing tricks with them to get them to buy something, but the timecodes in the description is for those who want to get to the point! Most RUclips videos are implementing this feature. Keep that in mind for your future watching needs!
