DON'T USE YOUR SHIRT to clean your glasses.
Do use the bottle of spray we give you when you purchases glasses for us.
Do use microfiber cloth.
Do use Peeps - a cleaning device with different brushes and carbon fiber pads.
Do use Lens Wipes cleaning pads.
Do use clear dish soap and hot running water. Clean it with a soft cotton towel.

What can you do when your eye glasses snap on the bridge?
You're going to have to get a new pair of glasses.
You can use JB Weld, which will help the glasses hold temporarily.
Shrink-Wrap tubing can be a great secret to temporarily repair your broken glasses.

Beware of buying cleaning wipes; many of them contain alcohol which will strip any coatings on your lenses. Dawn dish soap is the best- removes the oils from face and hands that get on lens and cause small fibers to stick. Lastly, no paper products! From an optician who loves her job 😊
I thought Dawn was good until I noticed an iridescence over time. It didn’t affect my view while wearing them.
Then cleaning wipes are dodgy I bought some years ago none alcohol in them apparently and from glassss shop within 4 weeks I had scratches on my new glasses I new it was the wipes I stopped using them I tried their wipes again on older prescriptions glassss damage them as well they prob sell them to ruin ya glassss quicker more profit if lensss get ruined quicker I bought a spray since I gone back to anti glare glasses on my new prescription which harder to clean haven't tried the spray yet but anti glare glasses are harder to clean I forgot about that it's why I stopped buy anti glare glasses but I forgot about it and bought them last week
Great video. I have always used the dishwashing liquid and warm water method, and it seems to be the right method.
Thanks so much for the tip about dish soap and warm water! I've tried so many sprays and lens cloths and haven't really been all that happy with any of them. I just washed my glasses with liquid dish soap and water. They haven't been this clean and clear since I bought them. Fantastic!

The peeps look great, especially when on the road. The brush on the end reminded me of my electric air duster I use at home before cleaning. Tried it on my glasses and yea, it blew away some large dust particles on my glasses. The indoor dust could be anything, even my dandruff as 50% of people have dandruff. Thanks.

Your very wise sir.. 💡 Ugh no matter how I try and clean my plastic lenses they just get more blurry. I've been using the little clothes that come with sunglasses. It cleans them and makes them clear enough for me to use them and not constantly see a glare. SO U said use dish soap under hot water? Because I read online not to use hot water bcuz it will break the plastic lense. THX for the advice. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼
Nice video. I love my Oakley frames. My first style was called the - PitBull. I got several Gascan frames - 2 of which are "Sapphire" Polarized. : If I could of gotten a "Sapphire" colored PitBull I wouldn't of gotten any of the Gascan's. I do like both frames. The "Arms" of the Gascans are Straight and Flat - where as the "Arms" of the Pitbull is Round so each feels different on your ears. I would love to have a PitBull shaped "Arm" for my Gascan's if possible.
I've never heard of shrink wrap tubing. What is it and where do you buy it? How does it come packaged?

when putting the eyeglassess in the case it has a cloth included, should the rough side of the cloth cover/touch the glassess or the smooth side one?
I was over a friend's house a few hours yesterday and their wood stove is not working properly. Eyeglass frames have a slight but noticeable smoky smell. Any other recommendations for how to safely clean smell from frames with scratch-coated lenses? My eye doc's lab tech called and recommended a very small drop of Dawn on a washcloth with lukewarm water. Fortunately, the smell is starting to fade. Thanks Dr. Jones.

Owning a eyeglass the microfiber cloths are one of pain in my head i legit have 5 not good and 3 it was okay but i have to wash it constant and 2 fully works overall i owned 10 microfiber but only 2 works that couldn't scratch my eyeglasses. I have to travel just for my eyeglasses cleaners cause havinf trust issue buying online.

I bought a peep for glasses and used the brush. I had also cleaned my glasses first and had a smudge so used the peep. My glasses hot scratch horribly
I always break my glasses specifically the right leg and it’s never the left. Do you know why?
I suppose you're talking about the padarms, the things holding the siliconepads near the nose.
If so that could have different reaons, perhaps it is getting bend to much or frequent. It is made out of a softer, easier to bend metal yet even that can crack after numerous amounts of bending.
The second reason could be the quality of materials used, some can get brittle after to much exposure to sweat, cosmetica & co.

Grace Chills they prob tell people to use hot water so they make more money when people ruin the lenses in time that prob why they sell wipes that scratch glasses .i always used washing up liquid though to wash glasses no problems but anti glare glasses I find are harder to clean but I bought a cleaning spray dunno if it any good haven't used it yet but anti glare glasses are such a pain to keep clean or clean I dry them with cloth for glasses smudges I leave them dry water streaks
