- Aluminium rims discription . Front 1.8 / 21 ( 9 k rs )and rear 5 / 17 ( 15k rs ) . This rims are light in weight which give faster rotation then normal Steel rims and due to light weight rotation it gives less pressure on clutch and engine performance . And it might give good milage also . If any of u wants this rims I can arrange it from my sources in China and for any queries u can call me on 9819184823

yes many are looking for it.. not only Himalayan.. but for nay highlighting spokewheel bikes.. lke 650Intercepter, Avenger cruiser etc. alongwith Himalayan.
If its regular alluminium all alloy from the 600o series its about 1/3 the strengh of steal but some aircraft alloys (7000 & 8000) are closer to steel but harder to work - the fatigue resistance is about 1/4 of steel - its the reason most aircraft are scrapped - their airframes time out
But aren't aluminum rims less stronger than the steel one? We have to also check durability, especially in bikes like Himalayan which are used for off roadings.
Perfectly done bro except for the front fender it could have been longer behind the wheels coz it will protect the engine portion from mud and water.

These interceptor, himalayan rear wheels are pain in the butt, it's a nightmare when you have a flat.
Please make a video with same mod job for Pulsar 200 NS. Am sick and tired of Bajaj Aluminium rims. They bend at slightest of thuds due to potholes at Delhi and Kanpur. By the way, I was also competing at Mangalore at local level for quite some time earlier. I would like to have some enduro class specs for my rim job. Will contact you soon. Nice job done sir. Will the tires effect on mileage? And when in off-road or riding it hard will the rims sustain.. It won't break or get damaged?
It might break during offroad ...use it only for city purpose if u want to

It seems smaller.
If it's so, it may affect your top speed figures.
Also engine would be revving high for same speed as of stock tyres.
The rim size can be compensated by a high profile tyre. No complications on speedo.

Bhai that's a great job but I have some doubts to be cleared and the list is like this
1. What about the rim chipping when hit by a hard pothole or ditches.
2. And the aspect ratio of the rear tyre used.
3. After market ke Petal disc nehi dal sakthe the like they have the more heat dissipation rather the conventional ones .
4. Up side downs dalsakthe ya nehi .

Can you please try to come up with a rim with deeper lip for tubeless tires or the only way out is alloy wheels or those DIY kits to convert tube to tubeless.

@HDT Customs, I completely agree to your point about the difference in weight, but my question is whether these light Aluminium rims will be able o carry heavy frame and body weight of Himalayan because bike itself is pretty heavy, pura pressure tireand rim pe aayega.

No, both are different size, Himalayan have 21 inch wheel and adventure 390 have 19 inch wheel

Pooja Sahni have u heard of alloy wheels..?? That's aluminium too (aircraft grade aluminium alloy)... These too are made of aircraft grade aluminium alloy...!!! Peace
@@binodmenahihu8104 looks like you've no idea about alloys. Alloy means mixture of more than one metal and aluminium alloys consists of other metals like magnesium,chromium, zinc etc and varies according to the manufacturer. So the term aluminium and alumium alloy are two different things. Raw aluminium is never strong and would be a bad choice for wheel in terms of safety and durability.

These are custom made so it can be ordered for any bike and is there any kind of assurance to the product in case if the rim gets bend due to heavy weights used while travelling on the bike are they strong enough to hold two passengers and luggages , I would want custom rims on my small cc bike with wider rims on front and rear so that I can update to off-road dual purpose tyre's as I have to ride on broken tarmac , remote rural areas, and highways too so it would be really helpful with these custom made rims

Nice Video, but don't you think it's odd that a full-fledged two-wheeler automobile company's engineers, with all their advanced machinery, didn't opt for this light metal which would give high mileage instead gave a heavier Rim which would cause more engine load and low mileage. Most people would agree that there is a very good reason for those heavier Rims.

Steel is much much cheaper than aluminum due to economic scale and availability. Also for same mass, steel has a higher modulus of elasticity than aluminum. So..cheaper and stronger! But heavier :(

Actually yes same bat me bhe socha tha Lekin fitting ke bad it's perfect BCS rim light weight hai awr perelli tyre bhe light weight hai compair to those other heavy tyres in same size so it is not harming rotation and ther is no load on engine . And it do easy wheel spin that means it's stress free for Himalayan engine .
