Hi Hemant, big fan of your videos and a new Himalayan owner too from Mumbai. just wanted to check what difference does semi-synthetic and fully synthetic oil does on Himalayan BS4. According to RE, the Himalayan BS4 uses 15W50 Grade MA2 Semi Synthetic oil where as the Motul 300V 10W40 is Factory line Fully Sythentic oil. Do reply. Also would love to visit your workshop to do some customization on my ride.

Great job man.. really like your videos, they're very informative and transparent.. I wanted to know one thing.. will adding a BMC air filter decrease the mileage of my bike? And do I need to tune the carb at all if I change the filter?
Hello HD Custom, u are really doing a fabulous work.... Actually I have also bought a new Himalyan ABS version. So actually I have doubt that when I apply the rear breaks harder I feel the the jerk of ABS but when I press the front break I didn't feel any jerk. So did u feel any jerk from the front breaks.. I mean to say whether the front ABS is working or not. And second thing from where did you buy the Led head lights and the fog lights...
This really happens when you are newbie to ABS system. In motorcycles, the front brake has more contact area to play with it, than the rear brake, because the front wheel always has a dual piston caliper and bigger disc than the rear braking system. So front wheel braking system will have much more efficient performance than the rear braking system, without any wheel locking issues. Also we all used to apply more rear brake than applying brake in the front due to that, leg has much more power than our hand. So that is why it is much harder to press the rear brake if you tried it by your hand. So automatically you will apply much more rear brake than front brake during braking your motorcycle. At the same time the caliper have only less area on the disc than the front. So when all these adds up you ended up in wheel locking and that's where the ABS kicks in and gives you some jerk or vibrations in the brake pedals. If you need to test you front abs system, just use only front brakes in an open and save environment with proper gears at your own risk. Clock 40 kmsph and pull front lever alone, when the the ABS kicks in, the front will felt like completely dead, that is the lever will be completely closed towards you. This thing scared the sh**t out of me when I experienced it for the first time.
@@Mechanicgrapher Yes u r right I am new to ABS. Before this beast I have tvs Apache and hero Karizma I feel that the front breaks in these two are more better than Himalayan. I alway use the combo breaks but I am more emphasis on front.. But thanks buddy to explaining the whole story...

Hi Hemant good work and keep going, I have 1 dought your auxiliary lights bracket fixed in the front fork will be traveling up n down when riding, so the light beam will also travel up n down which when riding will be discomfort or it's fine. Pls post a off road ride video with this light n bracket movement so that my point of dought will be cleared.
@@hdtcustoms11188 thanks for the reply, see rattling issue is what I meant, (for example) the main headlight of any bike when switched on the light beam will stay at one point whatever the bump u make because it's fixed above the fork assembly, but here your fixing the bracket in the fork so it will travel up n down so the beam also. So focus of road will keep on traveling up n down, can you get my point. sorry if I am going too much.
