bless you man, thanks for everything you do. You manage to maintain an incredible level of authenticity in every single moment. my theory is that you manage to keep it so special thanks to the abundance of love you have for this sport and life in general. Keep going
Welcome to Kenya Peyman. We wish Matilda a quick and speedy recovery. My wife and I (also a cycling couple) we shall be happy to host you. Also there's a huge vibrant cycling community in Kenya that's ready to welcome you. We shall even ride with you and escort you for a few kilometres. Learn this important swahili phrase: MAMBO? Answer: POA (translation: Hi how are you? = I'm good/great)
Hi Peyman, just to maybe give you a perspective from the viewers side. I think folks are interested to know what is happening with you and Matilda, not to intrude in your privacy, but because with all your exciting videos, we - the viewers - have gotten to know you quite well. I mean, it almost feels like a friendship or more.... That is why we are worried, and want to know.
So please don't judge the viewers for asking ;-)
Keep on riding!
Best wishes from Germany,
Frank
one-sided friendship*. The creators don't know you personally so don't expect them to give you personal info
Another option is teaming up with a writer..a totally acceptable form and probably many who can write but have not the material. Much appreciation to you for your great inspiration, thanks!
Love you guys and of cause prayers for an early recovery/reunion. Thank you guys.
Hello. You are great and Matilda is too! You are so right to go ahead Peyman. Matilda needs to recover and its OK, she is not our Mathilda and if she made a decison not to come back... . I will surely miss Matilda in the videos. Especially when one is ill or weak, persons should stick together to help each other and start together again. When everything is fine let your partner live a life where she or he is feeling free -is the best thing that keeps a relationship alive. And if the ways go toooo far in two different directions the time together has been a good time and the end can bring a new beginning. Use the years as young person to travel and the years as grandparent to rest. :-)
Hi, I fully understand that Matilda may have wished for you to ride on. My wife would have done the same as long as she was in good care and able to cope at home with people to assist.
All the best for a speedy recovery for Matilda. Lying in a hospital bed in Australia after a bad fall and multiple broken bones I can well understand the concept of pacing your recovery.
Why do you never wear helmets when biking? I would hate for an accident to happen to you.
95%+ of people riding bicycles do not EVER wear a helmet. This concept is fearmingering and only encourages greater risk-taking. Risk compensation.
@@petesig93 Where do you get the statistic of 95% from? As someone who commutes on his bike to school, I always wear my helmet and don't take added risks because I wear it. It's the same reason I wear my seatbeat when driving a car: I can control my actions, but I can't control the actions of the other cars on the road. If I get hit by someone driving recklessly, I want to make sure I am protecting my brain and body.
The helmet is for people who race or ride fast. When touring, the speed is often much slower and thus has a lower risk of serious injury when falling down. In the end, it comes down to risk vs comfort.
@@petesig93
Some of the worst advice I have ever heard. Congratulations!

Yeah? have you ever got hit by a car?? I have and my helmet saved me! Think before you spew.
So sad that Mathilda still Sick .. sometimes I thought U both broke but still friends it always very sad when some have a healthy issues...I wish U both all the love health luck and joy of this world. Love to see another equipment vid. love to see a vid where U put a Handel in your knife ...do U finish the second kuska allready ?? And what kind of Tree root it's this kuksa made. Ok im done for now. Thank U so much for the joy U Bring me. Im a fan since day one and for me in the top 10 of you Tube content U doing a great job out there 🤟 🤟 Keep rock- cicling the world Peyman .. greatings from Portugal and Germany 🤟🙏❤️
Hello Peyman: You, Matilda, your tours/trips/adventures and the content are just great! Of course you need equipment and this cost you money. If companies would be smart, they would give you equipment for free. It can't be tested better than with you. Weeks, months, years thru sunshine, heat, storm, rain, snow, ice.. very good to find out how long the parts last. The community and followers are growing bigger and bigger. Everybody/every subscriber could just donate € 1,-, so it would be € 100'000,-. Let's do that!
Prayers for your treatment and recovery Matilda. Peyman you are right about people's privacy, especially the judging part.
Judge not, lest ye be judged.
Take care, both of you. 😁👍❤
Yes, answer videos are cool! And the length was good too!
I hate spelling and writing I was so bad in school I came 34 out of 33 class lol that’s how bad I was and still am lol

Hi I have been doing some catching up on your travels. I switched off for a while as things were really not good for me because of the covid situation and all the restrictions I ended up in a bad shape. I am back following you on youtube but I no longer have an insta account. Great to hear you going to Kenya I look forward to seeing what you get upto in "my Africa" do you still have the details of the guy in Nairobi I gave you ? If you contact him I feel he will be most helpful to you 😁 Sorry to hear about Matilda's health heres hoping she overcomes the problem. Ride Hard Ride Safe 👍
Show off your finished drinking cup sometime.
Keep up the good work and keep the videos comming. Get well soon Matilda.
Thank you Peyman. I love the format. Take care Matilda.
Do it while you are young! Can't ride as far when you get old. At least for me. You are a great couple... Smile
thanks Peyman, love your vids
A summer at home and a summer in Africa will do her good, If Covid allows. I remember a bad winter truck driving; I was (totally exhausted) and with some good rest and clear weather I was well rested. I don't know her exact reason, but I wish you and her well.
Thank you. Great Idea to make a video.
Take good care, wish matilda a speedy recovery!
Pleas polish
The one, who saw you at the Mediterranean, might be right. There is a reason St. Tropez isn't cheap. A sunny climate helps in a lot of ways.
- Especially with children around ;)
Hey Peyman bro, I totally forgot to add that on top of being a cyclist, I'm also a Video editor/3D Animator/Motion Graphics Specialist who is willing to edit your videos and content for you.. ABSOLUTELY FREE while you're in Kenya! That's my contribution to your awesome efforts... in addition to the previous offer of hosting you. (Also free) That's how much of an inspiration you kindred spirits are.
When you visit America; I hope to see you and Matilda around
Altus Oklahoma
I did not expect to see another person from Altus commenting on the Nomad Trails videos!
I am currently in Tanzania and headed to Kenya next. Maybe I’ll see you guys around!!

It is nice to hear peoples comments and your responses. I assume that you and Matilda have made the choices that are best for you. You know your situation better than any of us and are smart enough to make the choices that suit you. I look forward to your travels and the many places you will share with us. It will be a pleasant surprise when Matilda shows up in one of your postings. Best regards 🙂
Peyman please subtitles for deaf people. Thank you ❤️
There are automated subtitles available in English (by google/youtube) in most mainstream videos like this. Bless you. hope it helps

Hello
Know what... This is probably the greatest love story ever, im loving it!
I enjoyed the video but not as much as the cycling videos.
I have two questions for you;
1. Pinion or Rohloff ? I am building a bike and wanted to do Pinion but have heard there is a bad engagement from the pedals to the rear hub.
2. What is your nationality ? I can't figure out your accent but really like it.
Rock on, Pancho
