- Cycling from Helsinki to Berlin with only 300€ each. With that amount of money, we have to buy a bike, food for 30 days, a tent, a sleeping bag, a sleeping math and a cooking set. If some gear breaks down, we need to fit repairment into this 300€ budget. The first 1.5 days was tough to find a lot of stuff in a very short time but we started to travel around Helsinki area and search bikes for us. Challenge 300 means that we need to include every gear and food for one month under 300 euros. Wish us luck! We try to pull this challenge off in some of Europe’s most expensive countries.

Jos jotain menee rikki, korjaus pitää sisältää tähän 300 euroon. Ensimmäiset 1,5 päivää oli todella haasteelliset, sillä me mentiin Helsinkiä ristiin rastiin etsien pyöriä haasteeseen. Hi, this is the first episode of our 300€ challenge, second episode will be publish as soon as editing is done. btw Peyman's bike is 45 years old with only 7 gears and we paid for it only 40€. It will be very interesting to see if it is possible to go for bikepacking with such bike, lets see 😁

I'm 60. My wife is 52. We have our 1st bike packing 3 day journey in Catalina on Thursday. I'm using a Giant Dicks mountain bike. Heavy as hell. Thanks for the inspiration. We'll be starting our own adventures ready for retirement.

Why not? It is a challenge we want to see is it possible to do such trip with low budget? Is it possible to go for bikepacking with 45 years old bike which costs 40€. We also enjoy of taking ourselves out of comfort zone 😊
