I can't believe all these magnificent waltzes are posthumous. If it weren't for that one friend he had who disobeyed him and published these against his wishes, we wouldn't have them today. Chopin really never misses in his work, and I can't believe that it was entirely possible that his posthumous works could've never been played.
Yeah, Chopin wanted all of his unpublished works to be destroyed. Other people appreciate his work more than he did. Some of his waltzes are still missing, unfortunately.

I was actually listening to a compilation of all of Chopin's waltzes when I saw the recommendation for this video and I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Your interpretations never cease to amaze and I look forward to more uploads.
Thank you Traum for playing some of the comparatively less famous Chopin waltzes. As many people already pointed out, they are all beautiful and worth playing, for sure. Great performance, and I am waiting for you to hit 20k subscribers really soon.

I was about to suggest the e major B. 46 but since you get swamped with suggestions I let it go.. I am super happy to see you played it. I really believe it’s in the top 3 of Chopins waltzes and you played it absolutely beautiful
Beautiful! I've never heard these played so well. Not a lot of pianists record the posthumous waltzes, and even then they usually only play the E minor one.

Chopin ist the gteatest. Time to time i listen other composer. So "heavy" like Rachmaninoffs piano concerto 2 or Prelude in C sharp. I Love those pieces. But i always find my way back to Chopin. Even his sad and sentimental pieces are so light like a waterfall and have this "Chopin touch", that fascinates me so. For me he ist the gteatest composer ever!
For some reason I feel like this was a recorded practice session. He just took a section of it and put in on YT. It's so casual. I imagine this is how Liszt did it.

These waltzes are very rare to listen. Some of them are even unknown to me. Very good compilation and great performance. The E major one is my favourite among these. I like the slow tempo you play it, sounds much more romantic.
It's really interesting that you have played some of Chopin's less known Waltzes like second or fourth one in this video...your touch and feelings are different with other interpretations and beautiful like always👌 It's a very good idea to play more of these unknown and beautiful pieces among other famous pieces😊

The ads respects his playing and only shows up between every waltzes.
I think there's a new algorythm that tries to run ads when the video volume is at its quietest to avoid disruption.
Before you give respect to that, look what traum did with the ballade no 1🤔 an ad in the MIDDLE of the piece.
