Derik Nelson - Custom Gilbert Guitar

deriknelson.com Highlights from our Derik Nelson & Family concert in Shelton, WA on February 19, 2019 featuring a gorgeous electric guitar handmade in Tasmania by Mark Gilbert. The guitar was custom built for virtuoso guitarist Richard Smith, who generously let me borrow it for our Spring Tour. The telecaster style body is made from Huon pine, Australia's oldest tree (and one of the oldest living organisms on Earth)!
