Congratulations on your new ride. I'd be curious to hear how you like a fiberglass boat coming from an aluminum. I tend to fish shallow and hit stuff all the time in my Lund. Good thing it's a tank.
Thank you!!! And the ride difference for me was insane, so much smoother, not gunna lie tho it took a while for me to get comfortable going shallow 😂 the stinger would just bump something and I wouldn’t blink, now I try to look twice, and I wanted a Lund renegade or a caymas and these are a LOT easier to find in my area lol
I just picked up a cx18ss last weekend im dying to take it to the lake but weather doesn't help down here in TX. Im wondering where do you have the transducer for your console finder?? I don't have a jackplate and I can't see my self making holes on a brand new boat. Im either considering a bracket mount it to the setback plate or maybe a glued stern pad mount. Im moving from a lowe legacy to this caymas and like you said is a lot nicer!!
Hey I’m in Texas right now lol came down for a few days, and I didn’t wanna touch my boat as well I had a local dealer install but they installed mine dead center in the back about 2 inches up, my transom saver almost touches my transducer when it’s flat. And I don’t know that I could go back to another Lowe lol my wife said we’re keepin this one until it falls apart.
Congrats to the "fishing machine", I'm waiting for mine right now and your video helped me to decided the color. Actually it will be the first Caymax 18CXs over here in Europe and Sweden. Also going from an alu boat to bass fiberglas, so your thoughts about the differences are also helpfull. I can se it's a Fury prop on your Pro XS 115 CT, can you give me the pitch please?
Hey I just seen this but I can absolutely check that pitch tomorrow when I get off work, and that’s awesome!! And the ride difference is crazy, so much smoother, what are you gunna be fishing for??
@@MagnusLevander hey the prop is a 24p sorry about that! Enjoy the pike fishing every year we take a trip to northern U.S and fish for pike and musky, by far my favorite fish to chase!
@@MagnusLevander it’ll be a few months we always go in the fall, I’ve got a few shorties up but I had some major camera issues last year lol the cold(plus how hot GoPros run) smoked my SD card lost 3 days of fishing hard lesson learned that week, And anytime I can help send me a message!
Hello. Great videos. I am looking to buy same boat. Can you give me a measurement of how high motor sits trimmed up for towing and trimmed down. I have a lower garage and need that measurement thanks a lot
Yea I got ya, it’ll have to be on the next few days tho, ironically enough it’s getting an oil change and gear fluid change should get it back hopefully tomorrow
Nice boat my man. Congrats on the new addition to the channel
Congratulations!!! That’s a real nice rig!
Blooper is gold 👍🏼

Sorry for the late reply issue took longer than we expected, trimmed up on transom saver it’s around 6 1/2 feet lowered down its roughly 6 1/4,
36V or 48V
Thanks for the congrats!! And I’m in East Oklahoma on the Arkansas border, as for the trolling motor it’s a 24v it’s been perfect
Videos good better get a better camera man next time!
