Show my apps just play certain frequencies of better than others when I went from my JP23 to a big boss 3K The sound on the lower end change to the better very much I gained much more power on the low end and the amp sounded much better
@@evilinside5984 yes, that’s right! He loves Bucee’s and Cleetus! We got to see Cleetus the first time we went to LS Fest. He stops at that particular Bucee’s every day. In fact, me and both of my boys stopped at that Bucee’s 4 days ago on our way to LS Fest this year. lol
@@stereomojo - Maybe when ordering the other XV3 15s, you can get Dual 2 ohms, with 2 Dual 2 ohm re-cones, so they ALL will start out new/fresh, & break them ALL in together. Have each woofer wired @ a 1 ohm load going to its own terminal. This way for daily listening, each pair can then be seriesed to 2 ohms. Prob. Will still hit a 153 to a 154 Db, n not even pull much amperage= amps will have 2x the damping factor as well! Then after breaking in ALL 4-15s, find your new peak freq, while wired @ 2 ohms per pair. Then after you find the peak freq., wire each pair of 15s paralleled to 1/2 ohm, n bam Loudest score ever= 157 to 158 Db! I never have gained +3Db from 2x woofers, or 2x power. If you only run each pair @ 1 ohm per JP53= 155 to 156 Db= 2 Db less, imo. Something to think about. Heck, this enclosure is Soo Awesome, just sell it with your current woofers, since you have to build a new 4-15" subs up, n port back=( works best in suvs, a close second best, & with less rattles on the rear tailgate= subs up, port up, but make sure to sound deaden the roof 1st) I have lots of comp. Experience with no-wall setups. Feel free to ask me any questions you, or your son may have. Great video, & Awesome system😎
I've been meaning to ask, did you guys build that sub box? I really like the window. Is that glass, plexiglass or acrylic? How thick is it and does it flex much?
Do you think the amplifier change was responsible for the change in peak frequency? I'm not an SPL competitor, but I would assume the amp wouldn't change it.
@@JasonWW2000 we were really shocked to find the new peak frequency at 38hz. We’re still not sure why this happened. We’re gonna run a test on the box tuning again to see if the box tuning is the same or not. It was at 31hz before. So the answer is, we still don’t know.
@Stereo Mojo Question - your opinion on the (1) BAMF 12" Sub with your amp in the Sledgehammer enclosure by MTX? That enclosure will be here Wednesday. It's the dual 12. I was thinking about putting 1 of your amps on each 12. I've already swapped the sealed enclosure I had my 2x 15s in for the Sledgehammer enclosure dual. I'm going to put the 6400.1D Orion on both 15s
@@stereomojo I done the big 3 (0) gauge. I've added the Skar terminals. The Skar distribution (0 in - 3x 4g out) will be here Wednesday. And I'm adding another battery this weekend.
.... and after I'm able to drop the Orion to 1 ohm.... I'm not sure if the Lanzars (15s) will handle that kinda of power. I've been scratching my head on the 12s... I'm wanting at least 1,250 RMS each. With what I have now, (I didn't notice until today) my sunroof is not doing good since I replaced the sealed with the ported. Parts are falling off my car everywhere

@@stereomojo yeah it gets rowdy for sure ppl can't believe 2 12 in skar vxf on 2 taramp smart 3 k can get that loud but it all in ur box if u build the right box for high spl I've hit 150 db with quite a few different sub models the avatar stu did the loudest 151.3 db at 44 htz all my boxes are custom built by me I'm thinking about building my own custom 12 inch subs and see if I can score high with those I already have the t.i. baskets with 10 inch spider landing and some 400 oz motors with 3 inch coils

Jp 53 is a monster of a amp extremely powerful amp especially at .5 ohm

150 with two subs is a damn good score I scored a 150.3 with two skar vxf and two smart 3K taramps at slamology in a Scion tC 07 my peak was 38-40 htz
