  • in this video i'm showing how to change the clutch pressure hose(not "line" but hose) on a 1996 through 2000 Honda civic ek manual trans and showing the tools that are needed for the swap. and also doing an emergency clutch fluid bleed/drain just incase you get stuck on the road. hopefully my video was a quick help in the future or now. Thanks for watching :)

i only found this video by trying to figure out where one of my clutch line brackets go for my swap. so you did me a solid there. But oml i was crying watching you bleed that clutch lol. remember to keep that bleeder screw closed when pumping it up. then while the petal is held down then crack the bleeder screw open to let the air out of the end of the line. repeat until you have a good petal feel or no air in line. bleeding brakes is the same process

If u still have trouble getting fluid to flow. The. Adjust free play rod country clockwise a few turns which will make more pressure when u pump the pedal. Do the procedure as mentioned then when done adjust the free play back to spec.

Its better to pump pedal while bleeder closed, then crack open just a lil bit. Not too much. Pump 5x leaving pedal down when at count 5. Tighten bleeder, refill fluid. (Repeat process 3x) Then done.
