@@kaneremy3929 nice try bellend. Funny how you both joined within the last month, definitely not just the same person with two accounts. Also, trying to lure people in by saying you hacked your girlfriend's Instagram is weird as fuck, good luck getting people to fall for that.
Bruh. You had me laughing out loud here at work with your "marry old london" comment. Great content. Very helpful, entertaining, and funny. Keep it up man!!
I have always been much more in awe of the average Joe that can paint incredibly well. I don't know how to describe it, but if you do something professionally, you BETTER be amazing at it. I find I get much more out of looking at the average folk on forums for inspiration. There are incredible artists out there that no one has ever heard of because they have a 9-5 like the rest of us. Kudos to them! Awesome vid as always!
I did not realise this until you pointed it out. Your statement is so true. My own skill level is like 5% Tabletop 95% total rubbish. The painters Miniac showed were truly talented and I loved seeing their work but as you say someone who is not a pro and can still make you sit up and notice their work is someone who should be appreciated and recognised for their talent. Well said sir!
Sam Lenz and Sorastros Painting here on RUclips. Sam is just an awesome personality, Sorastro is probably the best work I've ever seen. His Kingdom Death Monster minis are insane
Nice video man. I knew some of these guys already, but never heard of the first two. If you don't know him, check out Kirill Kanaev. His 2015 Crystal brush is a selfmade scratchbuild aswell, and. it's. fucking. amazing.
Oh yeah, I'm familiar with Kirill's work! He's absolutely fantastic. I don't mean to imply that by not including people like Alfonso Giraldes, Ben Komets, and Kiril Kanaev that this people are not incredibly talented people, I just have a preference for subject matter and also painting style. But yeah, that space marine was top notch!
Your favourites are all awesome painters; maybe unfortunately, I'm not a big follower, swapping from a painter to another depending on their latest jobs and my mood, lately I really like the strong coloured palettes so Marina Ainagoz and Sergio Calvo Rubio are on my actual top five.
Even if have to kneel in front of this guys, since I'll never reach technically a level like that, I have to say that I dont like the super reflective and clean style. I think its too much most of the time. My favourite painters right now have stronger and dirtier style, like Blanche. On top of everyone there's surely Third Eye Nuke.
You know that's one thing that I think is entirely missing from miniature painting: incredibly evil/heavy painting. Gritty can sometimes cross into that category, but I want to see something like this: instagram.com/p/BNBcBUcBtn1/?taken-by=bargainbinblasphemy translated into miniature painting. Something that just ooooooooozes darkness.
These painters are so insane! It's hard not to get down on yourself when you see their work, like you could paint for 70 years and never achieve their understanding of light and material, which is all perception is.
Wtf? Guy from my country has reached so far that Mr. Scott himself picked him at 1st place? Nice. Btw far land of Poland is neighbour's with Germany........ ;P
I follow a couple of these guys on instagram, someone you should check out is daemonrich on instagram. His pieces are really cool and superbly painted. His warhound titan made me drool a little bit...
No Id my friend, what you do is beautiful in its own regard. Keep painting, never stop, develop a routine and you and I will get there one day and on the way we will enjoy each mini!
Sorry, I'm being overly melodramatic for The Interwebz. While I do have that feeling of inequity when looking at these painters, it only comes from a yearning to do better and an appreciation of the art. My painting has come and gone over the last 6 years since I joined the hobby, but overall I am a lot better than where I started in large part to channels like yours.
I've made several of these videos. Those people show up in those other videos and furthermore, these are my personal favorite painters, not the "best". It is impossible to quantify artistic talent in that way so there's no sense in trying.
I'm a pleb, so my favourite painter is Duncan Rhodes

Nice battle jacket.
Bruh. You had me laughing out loud here at work with your "marry old london" comment. Great content. Very helpful, entertaining, and funny. Keep it up man!!
I've not painted my first one yet but I know skill and talent when I see it. Amazing.
Love videos like this, finding other painters to pick up tips and tricks from is a huge asset. Thanks for the vid!
6:20 WITNESS ME
What a glorious day ^^
I have a thing for Jen Haley and Natalya...such soft tones and great expresions...and recently started loving the work of Shoshies mini painting...
Gonna have to look up more works from all of them. So awesome, Thanks for sharing your favorites.

Ron Raducanu I can totally get that!

Absolutely awesome work Gareth
Great little video. David Soper is so nice in person
Maniac you are the best RUclipsr ever it's too bad that you don't have so many subscribers but I know that you will get more in the future
Maniac I have a question is it possible for you to make a video that you show how to paint ghostly cloth on Minis
I also love the band Obituary :)
recently started getting your videos on my feed and I'm glad I did. I subscribed!
also, that's a kick ass jacket!
Man, you have come a long way since I first followed you in the first vid. Keep it up!
Alex thank you!
Love the jacket!
Well wargaming and minatures painting did originate in the UK and a lot of companies are based in the UK, I am British btw
Sam Lenz and Sorastros Painting here on RUclips. Sam is just an awesome personality, Sorastro is probably the best work I've ever seen. His Kingdom Death Monster minis are insane

Alfonso "Banshee" giraldes

Michal pisarki
Ohhhhh boy, I forgot about marc masclans. That dude is AMAZING. So is everyone else on your list for that matter - quite the all star cast!
great video! are you going to be doing any more how to videos ? I would love to see one on basing.
Todd Sch yes I will be doing more traditional how to hobby videos!
As much as I may love a lot of today's top painters, I still have a devout love for John Blanche's grotesque and messy approach.
Miniac, great channel dude! Gratz! U rock!
I know this is 5 years old,but the latest painter to blow minds has got to be Sergio Calvo. You gotta check his channel.
Nice video man. I knew some of these guys already, but never heard of the first two.
If you don't know him, check out Kirill Kanaev. His 2015 Crystal brush is a selfmade scratchbuild aswell, and. it's. fucking. amazing.
yes, I hoped to see him on 1st place

Love the vest haha. You should check out my old band Bastardator. Pretty sure you will like it. And cheers on the vids.
Great video man! Digging the vest man! Funny enough I'm selling off my metal patches for miniature funds!
noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Yeah it sucks most are woven and rather rare, but gotta do what you gotta do for the imperium
Fist full of Metal! Love it!
You are on my top 10 bro.. 😂
Hell ya great painters
Good painters, but check Kyrill Kanaev works on Puty and Paint, he paints 70-90mm fig but he is on another planet.
Ben Komets !!
great video, man.
Paul Canavan thank you!

Nice! Yeah, I think I'm the same. A few of these painters might swap around in a week or two. Those two painters are great!
Nice! Yeah for some reason that super exaggerated reflective look kind of gets me every time! Reminds me of comic book illustrations.
Considering that you like horror, I thought you would've liked a grittier look even for minis!
Do you know Ex Profundis? You should definitely check that. And even the AoS28 facebook group.
Oh i like this.
Sweet vest
how am i not on that list?! *rabble* *rabble* j/k :D
Hiya trov! :D
Sorry Ben Komets.
What's the middle patch on your left side? The one with the jester?
MS90 Atrophy. Great classic Australian thrash!
Thanks!
You should check Camelson Art :)
These painters are so insane! It's hard not to get down on yourself when you see their work, like you could paint for 70 years and never achieve their understanding of light and material, which is all perception is.
Dallin Gunn don't get down on yourself. These guys are good because they practice. The only thing standing in between them and us is practice.
Thanks! I'll stay motivated. All I have to do it paint more minis, right? Thanks for the encouragement.

FatherKnowsBest yes
Olga Kropotova and Kirill Kanaev
That's it, after seeing these painters, I'm just throwing everything I ever touched in the trash.
No Id why would you do that?
In the presence of such beauty, one feels disgusting.
No Id my friend, what you do is beautiful in its own regard. Keep painting, never stop, develop a routine and you and I will get there one day and on the way we will enjoy each mini!
