Yep, I'm a Swans supporter who was at the game yesterday and I even agree with that. Freo probably have the least advantages - whether it's academy picks, playing in Victoria and not traveling, salary cap advantages like Geelong and the Adelaide teams with their cheap house prices etc - of any side in the competition and it's great seeing them put a win like that together. I thought Freo should have won by about four goals yesterday. They were much better than the Swans all day.
The round for the vics so far
Yep, I think the 1/3 of the teams who make up the comp need their own show. When a Victorian team lose, the story is ''how badly they played and which players need to lift''. Nothing about how good the WA, SA, NSW or QLD teams were.

really harsh comments on perryman. been a super consistent player, and wasn't far off all night, Rankine just got the good bounces/taps and was playing excellently. I'd love Perryman at Carlton. Adelaide should throw alot at him.

@@papleylivesrentfreeinurhead Yeah I didn't realise the discrepancy in the free kick count until I checked the game stats this morning. Only 9 more free's for the home team though is pretty standard. 2 key defenders with less than 16 games experience combined was quite pleasing.

i think the midfield was more the problem. when you getting that smashed around the ground and in inside 50s it's a mircale to only lose by two goals. If anything that means the defense was probably okay. But the midfield got absolutely dominated by the suns around the ground.

Beat West Coast, lost to Carlton, lost to the Suns, beat Richmond, beat Norf, beat GWS, beat West Coast, tied with Collingwood (while they were struggling outside the 8), juuuuuust beat Adelaide, beat the Bulldogs, smashed by Port, juuuuust beat the Saints, beaten by Sydney, beat Hawthorn. Heading into this round you could not have seen a less worthwhile third ladder position team in the history of the comp.
