Ross Lyon is a DUD.
That's been self-evident for a very, very long time now. Lyon has an over inflated opinion of himself, and the media et al keep lying to him how intelligent, and awesome he is as a coach and media personality. Lyon is ordinary as a coach and ordinary as a media personality and ordinary as a thinker. Lyon needs to downsize his ego and take a serious reality check on who he is based on the evidence of the past 17 years of his coaching.
Lyon was an ordinary AFL player too, I mean he was good at tackling and bumping, wow.

Leigh not on set most of the time does not work at all - Matthews has been a great but more relevant and capable voices in the game now.
He could watch 5 mins and know more about the game than all of us put together.

You need 6 to 8 'A' graders to be successful in AFL. It is the recruitment department that is crucial. A coach is the cherry on top of the icing of a premiership cake. Until St. Kilda gets this, it will remain in the doldrums.
The Malthouse analogy is bizarre, because they clearly shouldn’t have replaced him with Bolton.
Actually a lot of Carlton supporters preferred Brendan Bolton over Mick Malthouse as coach.

They should never have fired ratten in the first place. Marc Murphy spoke about those years with a heavy heart in a podcast, he stated Mick was obviously a great coach, but was unwilling to look at himself as an issue at the club.
Saints got murdered after their late 2010's premiership tilt fell short. When they fell off the cliff, all the draft picks went to GWS for those years and to a lesser extent GC. St Kilda still hasn't recovered from that.

@Simon-zo2vo there have been plenty of poor drafting, recruiting and trade moves. A few good ones in there too. Tim Membrey, Mason Wood and Callum Wilkie are up there with the best scrap heap bargains you will find.

Max king has been a big let down for the saints. Not Consistent enough. The /saints are just twin brothers to Nth Melbourne . Not going anywhere Soon !
Max King or Max Inferior? It's looking like the latter, Max is a sub standard AFL player and has been for 5 or 6 years now. The Saints will defend him, but who is going to replace Max if they get rid of him? A better club could still make something out of Max, somewhere he's the second or third forward. Collingwood might be a good fit for him, who knows.

If Port wasnt gifted on a silver spoon 2 wins by St Kilda and Hawthorne they would be dn with west cost. St kilda thru sheer incompetence and hawthorne just inexperience. @@MikeShellbackKen Hinkley made 2 AA teams. To be considered in the leagues top 22 in 91 and 92 is a fantastic effort especially considering the tough competition at the time. He was better than mediocre
Hawks beat tigers by 10 goals but there not labled flexing there muscles!! Beat dogs beat gws beat lions beat eagles by 10 goals with there best team of the year playing but again just average win! Why when we beat top teams they were not in good form when we played them! Dont get why hawks are not labled a serious team with 4th HARDEST draw at start of year! Go hawkers showem all!!

Its shamfull that brett ratten has been screwed twice, with his record at both clubs, coaches dont get sacked, molthouse shouldnt have come back to coaching, the game had past him, out dated, same thing with ross the boss, his outdated the game has past him, if ratts had stayed at st kilda, theyed be in the top 6 now, you list,n to rosses pressers, his on big money and it seems like he doesnt care, his become boring, got to feel for ratts, he deserves another chance
Don't worry about rate a he is back at hawk's loving life at the greatest club of all time! He will win a cup as assistant coach to Sam!! Back at a real club!! Still deep sympathy for loss of his son but he is was at hawk's when it happened and came back for the love and respect and SUCCESS!! Love ya ratts go hawks!!

@@bruce-fn1gz I'm not tom Morris lol. Tbh, as funny as it is when bevo has a go at journos and he just last night had a go at robbo on 360, he's a baby as well. Morris was reporting on bulldogs player movements or something before the round 1 game with Melbourne 2 years ago and Morris is a dees supporter so bevo didn't like that. Morris called someone a good looking lesbian in private I mean if that's not being hard done by I don't know what is.
