Slide the glass down a bit and you can see the part that's holding the glass. There will be a little "window" in the regulator. You can punch out the pin in the center, just as he did in the video, it would be hard to film, I'm guess that it was just a demonstration of how to pop the pin out pretending the glass was still attached to the regulator.
