Hi! I didn't discuss that on this video but can in a future one. Might need to lean on my mechanic for a complete breakdown and explanation of it though. I am definitely not a pro at working on engines. thanks for the comment!

    Awesome Video Capt. Mike
I have the exact same boat and motors. Just a quick question did you have to change the seals on this pump.
    Thanks again Bob

Thanks! Yes I got my parts direct from the cat dealer and the little o ring comes with the impeller. Is that the seal your talking about?

    Capt. Mike
Not sure I have a drip coming from my water pump
Just wanted to know if there’s a seal on the opposite side close to the belt side
    Thanks

Got ya, it is possible, but its not a serviceable part at least when you replace the imepller. I have never taken the pump apart that far. The door to the impeller only has a very thin rubber ring.

Would it be as easy to just take off the pump and not the bracket? The reason I ask is that I'm replacing my pump and would rather not remove the bracket.

I don’t think so. The bracket needs to be loosened to eliminate the tension on the belt first. It was easier to access the bracket for me since I was already loosening the bolts. It was really simple to remove.
