Depends what you feed it, if it’s moldy or germ infested the baby will be sick and miserable or if the one is feeding it soy or cows milk formula and it has gut issues, a lot of people in the states lack basic hygiene or knowledge of such things.

It is so nice to see a mom on RUclips who’s not hiding the uglier moments. My kid is 4 and I have anxiety and it’s just nice to see moms also vent about frustrations. My husband sometimes does that weird little annoying things that is vent worthy but I love him more than anything. And sometimes it’s hard to vent with other people understanding the annoying part but also not just assuming oh he’s a bad father, you should split up. Like no girl, he just left the stroller out and the dog peed on it, it’s annoying but not the end of the world 😂

Australian here. I’ve always thought it was weird when my English husband called it a garden. The yard is the entire space, the garden is whatever is in the garden bed. If you’re gardening you’re doing work in the garden bed (weeding, planting plants)

    • @user54782
      @user54782 4 месяца назад +2

Exactly. And "yard work" can encompass anything like mowing, weeding, lawn care, etc. (In the US.)

I just wanted to say thank you for being open and honest about everything. I don't have children yet (been a longer journey than anticipated but we'll get there!) and I really appreciate getting to see just you and how you juggle things and manage it all and hearing how you actually feel peppered in helps make it feel like I'm there and we're just having a chat like a friend coming over for a chat and a cup of tea. Hopefully that doesn't sound weird. It wasn't meant to. 😅
Anyway, thank you so much for being my mum friend while I'm waiting to become a mum. Also, the chat about breastfeeding - really appreciated hearing that. It's something that I find quite intimidating, well the idea of it. And often it seems like there's no choice involved and just a lot of pressure and guilt (and bullying!!), so I really appreciate hearing from someone who is being sensible about it and not just ignoring themselves to do it. Lots of love from Cheshire, UK. ❤

I laughed so hard at the ". . . four dogs. . . " , that I had to hit pause! I teared up! That was only hysterical to me because with 4 children and 4 dogs, I have made this minor slip myself! You, girlfriend, are a riot! And yes the Americans need to stop being so foolish and learn Celsius! Canada has!
My oldest daughter was 7 before she lost her first tooth. At the time she was in tears at 6 because all her friends either were losing teeth or already had. It was definitely a different season. It does not last. That daughter is now 20years and is finishing up college! I am so proud.
Teeth are only important while they are little. Enjoy! Oh ya, my other daughter started losing teeth at 5yrs. Her's also came in early!

Just because others will force themselves to breastfeed when it’s terrible for their mental health, doesn’t mean you have to suffer through. I’d love to breastfeed my second, who I’m currently pregnant with, but if I get there and it’s terrible, I hope I’ll be allowed to make the best choice for myself and my mental health. I do not use mulch, big bug and slug attractor. My parents, big gardeners never used mulch either. I think real estate agents would say that mulch may add to the curb appeal of the outside front and garden area of your home. Gardening can help your stress. Sending good vibes to you. Your breastfeeding journey is your own journey. I am sorry that people choose to not be the best version of themselves with their comments. Please know there are women here in RUclips that support and encourage you! 😊❤

Putting mulch around your plants is such a great way to help the plants cool down and retain moisture! Especially when you live somewhere that gets quite warm in summer time 😁 It also helps suppress weeds, but you can also grow plants that are quite low to the ground to do that too if you want more colour

My hubby does the gardening. I never had a desire for it. I was made to as a child and teen. Swore I would never again…so there you go. I always took care of kids and house did 100% of laundry, cooking. I also sewed clothing, canned the veggies.

Not sure if anyone’s already said this, but we call it yard work! Gardening is a much nicer term than “doing yard work” though so you should stick with that haha

I am almost 37 and the thought of one child gives me anxiety, let alone 3, dont be too hard on yourself. Think we need some hauls when you're back over here! I do feel like things have changed, I'd recommend getting a private GP or really researching where is good.

It's WILD to me that people in the UK don't use mulch in their garden beds? It's so useful to prevent weeds.

Your content is so good. You are definitely my favorite RUclipsr and I can't wait to see the vlogs in England.
Also you just had a baby. It takes a year for your body to heap from birth. I still feel exhausted and have a 10 month old. She started sleeping through the night a little before 10 months, but she just started getting her first tooth and has stopped sleeping through the night.
Do your best to ignore hateful comments. Some people are just mean and like to be hateful. As long as baby is fed, you are doing amazing. My first I went back to work at 7 weeks postpartum. So I pumped breastmilk. She wouldn't latch. I did that until 6 months when I dried up and we started formula before then because I didn't produce enough. My 2nd was 100% breastfed until 18 months. My 3rd is completely formula fed. They were all born early 34 and 35 weeks. The 1st and 3rd had torticolis and had physical therapy and needed helmets. The 2nd didn't need any of that. I learned with my third that they probably didn't breastfeed because of the torticolis.
Good luck with the move! You're doing amazing!

Don’t know why some people are so judgemental. Never apologise for stopping breastfeeding, everyone is on their own journey. I hated breastfeeding and only managed 6 weeks with my children. Love your videos ❤❤

Girl!!!! I loved this so much! I know you're so busy and this was probably a headache to edit and get ready for upload, but I hope you do more in the future. So interested in seeing the move from your perspective as well. I'm super passionate about breastfeeding, I breastfed my first son for four years, and I'm breastfeeding my 10 week old now. No one knows your truth though, you need to take care of yourself before you can take care of your children. You know that as a previous flight attendant, the mask for the adult before the child right? So glad that youre taking care of yourself! Your kids are blessed to have an amazing mom like you! Also love that you kept it real with your husband and your different parenting styles!

We call it gardening if it’s flowerbeds, plants, and/or fruits/vegetables whereas we call it yard work if it’s just mowing/weed work😂. Also I really love how you explain why you’re doing things and how to do those things you’re doing to your kids!

In America, we call the whole “garden” the yard. Our word garden is used for the sectioned off places where you plant flowers or vegetables. We can also call the places where we plant flowers flowerbeds. It’s called gardening. Yarding/yardening is not a word lol
