@@ells1796Just a piece of advise, with napping noises. It's ok, because the alternative is children become noise sensitive, but if they can sleep through the laundry going, dish washer, doorbell ringing, phone ringing, vacuuming, timer on oven, microwave, etc. they are in a deeper, even rem sleep. That's the good stuff and you want them to have that. Life goes on when nap time and bed time comes around......enjoy, maybe nap too.

I use a humidifier during the winter to dry my washing. Just put it by the clothes horse in an utility room or small room, and it is dry in no time. It's really inexpensive to run! You can get a cover to go over the clothes horse with the humidifier inside. It is much quicker than the heated clothes rail.

not being pedantic but … a humidifier adds moisture 😳
    it’s a de-humidifier that
    will remove the moisture.
It’s a great tip and really
    speeds up the drying time,
we had a very small utility
    room, put the dehumidifier
and a really really small portable radiator in the center, on the lowest setting
and hung the clothing on the
    drying racks, closed off the
room over night and everything was dry and fresh
by morning, we were in student accommodation with
    no drier 🙃
    love your channel !
love watching your family grow 😊

I found the crèche great but agree when I had two ages I found it really hard to actually use it. Now they are both kids club age it works better. Our crèche is open 3 hours and we can book max 2 hours. 1 hour is definitely not enough!

Could you talk about any differences between parenting in the UK vs the US? I'm from the UK but when I was a nanny in the US I found it such a culture shock and ended up following a lot of the American childcare standards. Since returning to the UK, I don't think most of their approaches wouldn't work in our culture and would be pretty hard to keep up when all the other parents/kids around you are doing something so different - interested on your thoughts!

    • @Mummysflippinhouse
      @Mummysflippinhouse  2 месяца назад +1

Yeah I think it’s very different. It’s a lot more relaxed here. The things I would let my kids do in the USA used to make people gasp. I also think kids are aloud to be in a lot more ‘grown up’ spaces here in the uk. That being said, some people probably prefer that in the USA. Just different cultures and how you are used to things

£180 a month?? I've always thought of David Lloyd as posh but I didn't know it was that bad, talk about daylight robbery. 😭 Hope you're able to find a more affordable gym!

I visited one recently and honestly, I don't know what the fuss was about. Truly not worth the money IMHO.

Hi Caroline, I have the same hard water issue in the States. I use Odele clarifying shampoo and it's a huge difference. Not sure if its available in England or if your husband can pick it up in the States but I highly recommend it. Love your channel ❤

Heated airers are awesome. I got a lake land one but off ebay, they have a shop on there and it was a return but works great and half the price!

My mom used to tell me eating my crusts made my hair curly! I confidentially stated that fact as an adult and got looked at like I was crazy. I've never heard anyone else say it! ❤

I just looked at David Lloyd but that’s ridiculous considering you have to be there for 9 am!

Buy a rotary clothes line for the garden. It works so much better than a clothes horse.

Monster cookies. They come to Woking in a artisan market on occasional basis. Love the chocolate orange

Nuffield gyms is a good alternative to David Lloyd, there should be a few in the Surrey area.

Is there a Nuffield Health near you. The crèche is included, kids membership is £17 and they have inside and outside heated pools, sauna and bar where I am.
