@@calvinmcmillen2729 I'm upset the Owl House ended. That was honestly one of the better modern cartoons to come out in recent years. They're apparently getting a spin-off, so I'm hoping it turns out well.
when I see her get on the ground about to cry and then louie who disbelief she was even his mom and was maybe from an different universe, it made me cried a bit from my past as it hit way too close to home.
I loved that they gave each of the boys their own personality. in the original show, they actually had an episode where each of the boys changed clothes with each other to see if their uncle could tell them apart. surprise surprise, he never noticed. even the Clones from Star Wars had for defining characteristics than the triplets. I'm just disappointed we never saw anything out of the new NEGA Duck after the original Dark Wing went crazy, unable to accept he's not the star anymore. NEGA Duck was a real threat in the original show. the guy used real guns! Lol
REAL. I adore this show and fandom, but one of the things I don't like is how underrated Huey, my favorite triplet, is. Dewey and Louie had seasons centered around them, and THEY'RE really loved by the fandom, and season 3, which was supposed to be Huey's season, ofc hadn't been entirely centered around him because they had to rush the very ending. And I'm also genuinely convinced that if they had a 4th season, they would've probably centered it around Webby. We got SO robbed ☹️☹️
Awesome show, this is the kind of show where you will watch the new episodes as soon as they come out, I probably watched every episode at least 2 times, the new moon theme was great, and every season it actually felt better then the last, I liked it so much that when the seasons were done I watched all of the duckburg podcast. I wish they’d come out with at least a seasonal 1 hour special every major holiday…
I got one more season to watch avet but the part when the mom what's singing the moon song to get inspiration to fix the ship about lost it it was so good
You are undoubtedly, undeniably the embodiment of a legend but my biggest problems is that negaduck/jim starling never returned before the show’s cancellation and the triplets dad was never revealed to us!!!!!!!!💖❤️💛❤️💖❤️💛❤️
Would you believe not even Walt Disney ever had any idea who the triplets' dad was? The only thing we know about him is that Huey, Dewey and Louie sent him to the hospital by putting a humongous firecracker under his armchair; as he was never mentioned anywhere in the comics from then on, we can only assume that either he bailed or the kids' prank actually killed him.
I kinda enjoy the reboot more than the original. I feel like there was more depth to everything and everyone in the reboot. Like Huey, Dewey and Louie are actually different people now with different voice actors and even different clothes instead of all being essentially the same character but with different colours. Webby also got a massive upgrade by not being annoying and whiny. I feel like in the original show all the characters were more surface level and blander than in the reboot.
One of the best reboots ever! In all honesty, 3 seasons was a pretty good run for this type of show and I liked the cameos to other Disney channel shows like chip n dale rescue rangers and darkwing duck. They were really cool I thought. Apparently a reboot of darkwing duck is in development but it was ages ago when it first got announced so I don’t know if it’s still happening or not in all honesty.
I loved the fact the reboot didnt change the whole cast like ooooh huey and dewey and louie are adults and one of them ends up with webby and have a kid and thats the main charecter
The good thing about DT17 ending is that its legacy has allowed the animation industry to slowly begin figuring out how to properly reboot a classic show, which right now is best exemplified by Fairly OddParents A New Wish - which is no lie the best thing to happen to the franchise in decades, to the point where I’m legitimately scared to go back to the original show because of how poorly I think it might have aged in comparison. Yes, A New Wish is that good and you all should watch it now now, NOW if you haven’t already
She was going to be in Phatmojo's second wave for the series, but it got cancelled. 😞 She was going to come with The Spear and be sold as a separate figure. It's not officially confirmed, but... Look at the family wall in "Storkules in Duckburg!" Now compare that to the way it looks in "Nothing Can Stop Della Duck!". Now search for the "Papa Pia?" sticky note on Webby's board in "The Last Adventure!".
This is a way a reboot SHOULD be done. Respectful to the original but fixes the problems the original had. Like the triplets just being clones of each other, Webby being extremely annoying, and adding in things like Della to make it stand on it's own away from the original source material.
Cancelled? I thought I remembered the show runners saying towards the end they only had plans to go as far as three seasons? Things played out rather nicely, I thought. Better to go out on a high note than suffer seasonal rot.
They had plans for a season 4. But when the show got cancelled, they shifted focus to Webby as her plot was essentally the "use in case of cancellation" plot. It's why season 3 suddenly ditched Huey's arc in the final episode despite it being his focus season
Every time a company finally starts making something good, they either burry it 6 ft under, or make such a monstrosity out of it that its creator would die of shock. Its really sad, and always has been, but its getting more common and worse
I'm fine with it being cancelled. Don't get me wrong, I loved the show, but it already felt like it was suffering from spectacle creep, having to go bigger and bigger. Not enough of their antagonists felt like they could be a threat by the end. I would love some spinoffs, or if they had kept going focusing seasons on different characters.
it's funny you say that because I have spinoffs ideas that would have given focus on side characters and flesh them out more as characters. for example, one idea I have is for Faris Djinn to have lost his daughter and have Faris and a bunch of new characters to band together to save their home.
