Today we have the Persian Bow in full carbon in the test. It is a new development and you might not find it yet on the website. Just ask Csaba :)
Very impressive bow, the draw, the shooting, just amazing. But look for yourself

So for sure if carbon, fiberglass exist back then they would definitely used it. Bow looks, performs nicely, I've seen Csaba's competitor friends testing these and they were very impressed with it too.
I remember when you reviewed the original version of this bow, you especially praised Draw.
The full carbon version seems to have more nimble and accuracy! I need this...
Absolutely if they had carbon back in the day they would have used it.
Pretty bow + perfect review = nice Sunday morning.. Thanks Mr. Armin.
Looks great ..Enjoy your Sunday and thank you for another great review ..
I had to stop when you asked if we were annoyed by your... 'rubbish'. Well, I for one am using it to learn and totally tickled to watch you get all nerdy on a bow... so, its fine. :) Thank you again for your hard work... I think its been a couple years now and I just keep watching. Maybe I should get another life. Oh, I can't.. NM.
hahaha funny you
For how Exceptional your site is, always learning, improving & bringing us along as you do so, ❤
Now that's a pretty bow! Grozer still always trying to improve his bows! Awesome! Great review as always my friend! New scale is nice too!
What an awesome bow and I love the carbon look. I may actually get me one of these.
Much like with Alibow and Lukas, when you see the name Grozer in Armin's title, you're about to see a quality bow.
Bow looks cool, the carbon for this design looks nice. Looks like its probably a fun shooter.
Great review as always.
Very nice looking bow and performance seem nice
that's a stunning bow

As a luthier (builds custom guitars), and artist and craftsman with deep life long understanding and love of all woods and their characteristics; woods have their downsides too. If you’re building boxes, cabinets, and some furniture it is a very good choice.
The thing most people don’t realize is that every single “individual tree” is typically very different than the same specie of tree growing right next to it. Read that last line again.
As soon as you ask wood to do demanding things like supporting a load, prevent bending under a load, bend under a load to specific bends and curves …. You should always expect variations and inconsistencies. You can take two pieces of wood from the same tree, and easily expect quite different responses from those woods.
Carbon is typically added to things like bow limbs to help control the woods and make the woods/s more consistent. We do want both our bow limbs to respond the same.
While carbon fiber lacks the natural beauty of wood, an all carbon fiber bows “can” have superior consistency, and be able to offer greater torsional stability than most woods. A designer/engineer can make a very dialed in and reproducible bow. Just won’t satisfy traditional tastes when it comes to appearances.
If it is possible to narrow that arrow pass, that would be another plus to an already great bow.
Congratulations Mr. Grozner.
thank you
Was waiting for this video! Carbon fiber is an amazing material for sure! Love the idea of using it for such bows, but i would try to hide it more 🤣. Also not sure why but it bothers me how thin carbon or fiber glass limbs are. It's only an esthetical preference so don't listen to me. Looks like it performs great so that's all it matters. Love Grozer bows.
Already a 👍 for the case
I like this one!
I drive an old van, but with a more powerful modern engine in it, this bow reminds me of thet. Why not embrace modern technology to make something traditional even better.
Love it.
I like it!
Hello Armin,
impressive bow. Love him!
BTW: We almost ordered a biocompsite Indo Persian last time.
Then it became a Hungarian short and an Assyrian...
As for your new rating system... I think it's great... but you could reduce the size of the overlay of the scorecards a little... it bothered me a little.
I just picked up an older Oneida screaming eagle as Deer Season opens here in the states
Good luck. Bag a big one
The bow itself looks amazing, and must say, despite I prefer the more traditional look, the carbon indeed has its advantages.
I would LOVE to see a comparison of FC/BC bows from Grózer. How does the Full Carbon feel/behave/performs compared to the Bio Composite ones. Really would be an interesting topic.
The new rating system looks well done 👍 As for the layout - if I may humbly express my personal preference - it might be more enjoyable if the rating template wouldn't cover that much of a surface from the video, or it would be somewhat transparent ^^ Or the whole chart would be shown only in the end during a recap or summary. :)
Check Grozers video on bio versus carbon..Basically carbon on weights under 40 lbs is optimal but above 40 lbs the bio- composite has a softer smoother draw experience ..Carbon above 40lbs is a stiffer draw ...
@@richartist40 Yep, saw that one a while ago, it was a very good presentation indeed, thank you for the recommendation. ✌
Still, I suggested the comparison because I'd like to see Armin's experience on this one, I usually enjoy the content he makes and thought the topic would generate another quality video to look after 🙂
Lets hope he gives it a whirl !
Nice 👍
Niceee......i wonder what performance can be expect from big poundage full carbon bow ?
Yo, im here first for once. I've never seen a full carbon bow before. Looks like it works great tho.
I don't know. I love the carbon pattern on a bow. It's really cool
I'll never be able to afford it but, it really is a gorgeous bow. I'm not crazy about the look of carbon fiber but the performance is beautiful and I do love black as a bow color so... I'd buy if I ever get a chance... something to dream about and look forward to.
There are already some on his website priced below 600€. So maybe you will be able to afford it some day.
I need to test one for Razmafzar
Just to clear things up a little, the X carbon was glass and carbon with a core, this one called full carbon is belly and back carbon with a core between. all carbon outer layers with a core material , I'm not sure what the core is. The site doesn't give much information they are very well made.

😎🏹 I’m curious: How does the full carbon compare to the Indo-Persian X Carbon laminated or a bio composite model? 🤔
I guess not much. A nicer draw and a little snappier and more torque resistant
@@ArminHirmerThank you 🙇🏻♂️👍🏹
The new rating system is nice. It's a little on the complex side. I do prefer the 10 point method of the past, however, It's not as detailed.
The persian bow a complex 7 section part bow compared to the usual 5. Wow 390 grams thats light af. Ive heard the carbons dont feel comfortable and dont really perform better than a laminated fiber glass as of yet. This bow looks and soinds beautiful
I own 2 of grozers bow and i will like to change the original string. Can a please have a recommendation on where to get them?
I like the new rating system in principle, but it has the same fatal flaw as the old one: Nearly every bow gets 10/10 points in all categories except packaging. Unfortunately, that makes the rating absolutely useless as a comparison! A rule for a good rating system: *Whenever you have to give max points, your rating system has failed because it has reached its limits.* No useful information about the quality can be communicated beyond this point.
As an idea: With this wonderfully differentiated new rating system, why dont you give out uneven numbers on each point? For example
- Grip slippery? Not really but I have seen better grips, so 0.7/1 points.
- Draw feeling? Phenomenal, almost perfect, so 1.9/2 points.
Of course these are all wonderful bows and it is honestly inspiring to see you nerd out about them. I dont want you to change spreading the love for these beautiful bows! But I believe you are doing the community a disservice by lowering your standards to the point where there is no distinction between a good bow and a phenomenal bow.
then just make your own rating system... judging one after one rating is a little limited. you could have waited for the next ratings coming up and see .... but no.
@@ArminHirmer Hmm, perhaps I owe an apology for the harsh tone. I meant to be constructive, and I *like* what you did with transitioning to this system. I just think it can be more useful if no bow reaches actual 10/10 (and I am excluding the packaging rating because that is mostly important while buying the bow, not so much later).
@@foolwise4703you made a good point. This bow received 2 points for money value although Armin didn't know the price..
The system needs a standard, what means noise? Compared to what? It should have a bigger value scale, like 1-5 points, 0 or 1 doesn't help at all..
Also, if you are friends with the bowyer, can you make a non biased review even without intention?
I heard for carbon limbs, limbs have on the long side otherwise they will break. That bow seems interesting.
Yes there are quite some options out from bow builders who never used Carbon but tell you how it will work or not :) and there are others they just make it
Nice bow.
All it's needed is Persian thumbring 😊
good that you have some for sale :)
@@ArminHirmer I can make some 🙂
Mr. Armin is this bow better than the x carbon indo-Persian bow and if so why?
the draw is nicer, at least for me and the stability is improved
So is clean straight arrow flight not that reliable with horse bows? I've been shooting hundreds of arrows a week for a month now and it seems hit and miss with clean arrow flight. Admittedly I'm still learning my katra and torque but I seem very inconsistent. Changed brace height multiple times and nocking point and handle grip. Both leather and hard plastic thumb rings. Just don't seem to be improving. Maybe a shorter bow is harder to master? I drive tacks with my old recurve even when I haven't been practicing for months.
I have to learn with every new blow I shoot
Make sure you find a grip style that works well for you, horsebows are notorious for being hard to handle - also different bow types have different handle, what works with medium sized Tatar handle might not work with small sized Turkish handle and vice versa.
Khatra is another thing that can increase inconsistency, try to make sure you are always under same tensions (when you reach full draw you want to keep pulling slightly until you release) so your release both with the bow and arrow hand is just a continuation of the shot. Or try to get consistent without khatra and when you group fine add it to compensate for archers paradox.
Finally posture and overal style. Lot of people do olympic posture with traditional bow and then they complain that it does not work very well. Specific bow types were designed with specific type of posture / draw / release etc in mind. They can work with different styles but they should perform the best with their intended style, for example Korean bow might not work that well with Turkish style of shooting.
Has anyone got recommendations to get this bow in the uk ? Having trouble finding this bow for sale?
I guess directly from Grozer in Hungary

All I get is nomadbows ? Redirected from Grozer
A cyber-punk bow ;))
Mr Hirmer, is there a way to send you a question? I can't find an addy and no, I can't afford patreon. Thank you.
my email is in the video description
When it comes to lifespan of a bow, I find myself assuming that a carbon bow would 'live' longer than other bow materials.
It also seems more resilient to stringing mistakes.
What is the most rugged bowmaterial? Anyone's 2 cents is appreciated.
Simsek uses some sort of material, advertises that his bows are waterproof, but i like how this one from Grozer and the Xerxes from Nawalny have no minimum gpp, arrow weight.
@@MarcassCarcassthey do have minimum gpp even if it's not advertised, you have to email him to ask.
Squeak of the bow when it’s drawn will jump my deer. 😢
We need the famous maxSHD (SquirrelHuntingDistance) in the ratings ;)
:D
If this is what carbon can do (it isn't tough, it can do better) I doubt it would have been taken over because this bow has wooden self bow performance, in fact I have made better performing self bows than this according to the speed results. And speed is with arrow weight is what affects the target, higher speed or higher arrow weight is what matters.
Did the speedier self bows have a smooth draw curve? And the same poundage as this bow at 31#?
send me one in same poundage and I will compare, otherwise its hard to tell :)
@@gediminasmorkys3589it's 46#, unless it was speed tested with 28" draw, but it actually makes it even less impressive, cus I speed test mine with 28" draw, and longer the draw, the longer the distance for the arrow to accelerate, so should end up with faster speed
@@ArminHirmer would love to do that
