@@bsy76Great question, I’m thinking it should be possible, I’ve seen BPM added in another video and would expect it could be added as an update afterwards if it’s not there already, should be easy enough!
Stay on the X3 ! I have a Gopro 9 (since it came out) and bought the X3 few months ago, i don't use my Gopro anymore. 360° cameras are a game changer, so much capable than regular action cameras !
Also, the camera doesn’t have the AI warp feature because the processor isn’t good enough and is entirely app based. You also have to pay for it after 3 months, but they dont put that in the ad
It's exactly what I noticed ! seems like the Ace pro's lens is dirty. That look crazy, everybody can see that on all day's footages of this video, the gopro image quality is better, but with a sponsorised test, of course you said that the ace pro is better...I'm not a gopro groupie, for the story, I've ordered a gopro 12, which I returnerd back when I saw this new ace pro to eventually buy this one,...
one of my problem is when mounted on handle bars, the vibrations can be too much for the camera, but in your video it seems it doesn't affect as much. How are you mounting it?
Great review mate. Thank you. It seems to be what I’ve been looking for. Qq about the mount. Can it be removed on bike one handed? And can it be attached to an any metal object? Please let me know
@@ChinaCycling if you share videos with friends, the size of a 4K or 8k file will take forever to send. If you mount this camera on your helmet, your neck is short to be sore quickly. I actually have two go 2 cameras. I mount one on my helmet and one on the back of the bike. When I want to take a video, I just hit the button and record for 15 seconds.
I had it running at 4k120 for pretty long (I guess around 15mins) and no overheating. I was riding along though, so I guess it was getting cooled. No overheating in any of my testing.
On my 5k 27 inch iMac screen the GoPro looked better. With the exception of low light footage. Really I could care less either way, just calling it like I see it.
Maybe calibrate your Mac! 😂 I have both GoPro and Ace Pro. GoPro is a great camera but it is not up to par in any regards to the Ace Pro. I have tested it while cycling and the difference is quite noticeable. Night and day. Just my opinion. To be fair, the reviewed unit is more than likely before firmware updates, so his mileage might be different than my current camera.
Good to hear. I so wanted the ace pro to be top shelf. Love the pop out screen and other features. Competition is good, it will cause GoPro and DJI to up their game.
Wow what a camera. And now I have to get a Garmin computer too!
😂
Looks like they stepped up the image quality for sure.
The intro of this video goes hard. Loved it!
Looks amazing!
GoPro killer! At last, being able to overlay the stats directly onto the video is an amazing feature, love it!
can you add your watts in the stats?
@@bsy76Great question, I’m thinking it should be possible, I’ve seen BPM added in another video and would expect it could be added as an update afterwards if it’s not there already, should be easy enough!
@@bsy76yes you can show wattage
@@bsy76idk if it has been yet but they said it will be added later
I was just thinking of pulling the trigger on an insta360 x3 and now this comes out...im torn. Any thoughts on which would be best for a cyclist?

If you can only have one, maybe the X3
It's more versatile, and the single lens mode is good enough. Just be careful not to scratch the lenses.

Are you talking about the Insta360 or the GoPro?
5:00 are you sure the left one is the insta360 ace? You seem to have the first review I am seeing where the GoPro seems much better during the day.
too much green tint

How are you mounting it?
Kinda wild that Garmin helped Insta360 make Garmin's VirbEdit software obsolete.
Virb still has its place if you wanna go deep on customization. But, yeah...
Thank you for the review. Is the power data not displayed?
You just have to select that option on screen
Do you recommend mounting it on the stem or using a chest mount?

nice video! i wonder is it able to do livestream + garmin connect overlay ?
You can`t overlay datas from a powermeter even you record this datas in the garmin connect files. How is it possible?. what an error¡¡¡¡
I’d rather mount my GO 2 on my helmet. Way lighter and if you share videos with friends, you don’t want monster file sizes so the resolution is fine.
Yeah, the Ace Pro is very "Prosumer" - for most consumers, the Go series has enough quality. But yeah, 2.7k Vs 8k...

@17:00 footage go pro colours appeal to me more. Ace Pro got too much green tint what I noticed in other footage too @5:11 looks terrible green
Nice one JOE!!
Spiro Freedom frame. A colombian brand! Nice Joe!
Right on. Building it up soon.
@@ChinaCycling Me too!. I’m building mine with the Ltwoo R9 here in Colombia. Hope to see soon your build!
8:24 what's the name of that road bike? links?
It's by Onirii, I think its called the "Aero" Its the team bike of a local conti team.
can you put the power inlay?
Well, mb i trust your review if you made shots in mostly night or cloudy ride.
Sunny day shots? Nah. Any modern camera can do this.
Does it support live streaming?
No, maybe with a firmware update soon
Is the GPS overlay generation coming to older camera's like the X2/X3?
Good question! In theory it's just software
De la ace pro me gusta todo menos el ai warp effects
did you made overheat test, does it overheat after long use and how long before shuts down?

It’s $150 more than GoPro if you’re a GoPro member.
Great video, can i shoot vertical in 120fps?
$900 for a camera? 😂😂😂
$449 USD. What currency are you using?
@@ChinaCyclingIt's 480 EUR even for the stand-alone kit with just the basics :\
to be honest, Go pro is still better, this is just hype
Depends on your needs I guess. I use and own all these cameras. The ace pro is my new favorite for image quality.
