When I think of Brahms, I think of the perfect combination of structure and emotion. You captured it perfectly. Thanks for posting!

Marcus Anderson - So I've noticed. I just finished learning the 1st movement last week and although it is not PERFECT I've started learning the second movement (with the help of my teacher) and it seems to be a little easier, but i know the third and fourth are as difficult or more challenging as the first

Did you know that the part of the clarinet you attach the reed to and put in your mouth is called the mouthpiece, and that there is an enormous variety of them available, and that it is the most important part of the instrument that dictates the quality of your sound?

    I played it when I was 17. It's a frightfully difficult piece.

what happened with T.116-152 in the first movement?

Sorry Raimund, for some reason the recorder machine got interrupted and we lost those bars. Pity… Hope you still enjoyed the rest. Cheers

Beautiful playing, both of you!! I love your passion for the music and in the way you play.
But I do have a question: Did you skip mm. 116-154?

      Yes they did. Extremely weird.

Hi @evan, unfortunately something happened with the recording machine we used, and yes there was a gap. Sorry, I’d have loved to have it all 😊

I dont like the quality of the tone very much to be honest. Maybe it is just because of bad sound quality.
