      @khabibarmageddon7743 6 лет назад +103

      That's not the point that Malwill was making. He could understand the father's story to the extent that if you saw someone choking your child you would probably kill the person as well; the last part of the statement is meant to show that his story doesn't make any sense because if he was truly angry at the sight of his wife killing his children he would have never dumped his childrens bodies like they didn't matter.

    The fact that he dumped his children in oil tanks after supposedly killing his wife in protection makes me absolutely not believe his story that his wife was strangling the children. If he were a grieving father he would bury his daughters at the very least. But he couldn’t even manage tears in his interview asking for his family’s return. Wouldn’t any grieving parent beg for their children back? Even if they knew they were dead? He almost looks like he’s smirking.... Horrifying.

      I wish every murderer of their own family who lies could also be charged with wasting the time and resources of the agencies looking for their "missing" family members. A LOT of money is spent on fruitless searches and some killers stretch out the pretense for months or years, using up valuable resources needed to work other cases. This isn't fair to the investigators or to the other missing--actually missing--victims out there.

Yes there are violent men and women out there, but we can limit our risk from violent people that are outside of our borders, by keeping them outside of our borders. Is it possible that she could've been killed by a citizen later in her life, sure, but she wasn't. If this "man" wasn't in Iowa, she would still be alive.

    As an immigrant, the Mollie Tibbets story went from one of a shock to one of anger for multiple reasons. I've been following the case since it first became public, but when the news hit that she was killed by an undocumented immigrant, I felt so much anger at Riviera. Not for just killing someone, but giving fuel to the right who will misinterpret the intent of thousands of people trying to immigrate to this country. And it is important to remember is that this story and how it is being used by the right falls under the very harmful trope of "the poor white woman and the dangerous brown man." Despite the fact that these acts of violence toward women by men are everywhere. I've had men follow me to my car and threaten to hurt me for saying "no" from all backgrounds. Building a wall isn't going to make me safer, nor for any women.

      Did you take the proper channels to immigrate here? Right wingers don't care *who* immigrates it's *how* they immigrate that's the problem. Bunching legal immigrants with illegal aliens is an insult to everyone who took the time and effort to do things properly, legals will tell you that word for word.

      If he wasn't in the country, this wouldn't have happened. Also, I don't know what guys you're around, but most self-respecting, honorable guys don't go around harassing random women, especially random ones off the streets.
      In fact, to make this into a "violence against women" issue, you'd have to ignore the most important factor in those cases and that is, most women end up getting assaulted by people close to them, not strangers off the street. I'm pretty sure anyone who has taken an entry level sociology class has heard that statistic and unfortunately for you, it doesn't work here.
      Furthermore, this issue is a culmination of a few issues, so trying to dismiss one in favor of another only makes people want to ignore you.

      I used to walk in fear too, sometimes I carry my keys between my fingers when I’m in a sketchy place. But most of the time I’m pretty chill. I’ve come to learn that these things can happen to anyone at any time, but they don’t happen as often as people try to make it to be. It’s okay to be wary, I think everyone should be. But you can’t go acting/looking scared, that attracts that type of person more. Definitely don’t tell them you’re calling the police, run (or walk) somewhere public (most definitely not your own house or someone you know’s house) and get someone, anyone and tell them the situation. I also think everyone should know how to defend themselves physically, not just carrying pepper spray. The gym is a very important place for everyone to build muscle for any situation whether it be moving by yourself or defending yourself.

      I also don't buy the story that his wife killed the kids, unless she has some history of self destructive actions, you'd have to be a pyscho to strangle your own kids over a relationship breaking up with no history. To add on top, would a loving father honestly dump their their own child's remains in a vat of oil? Surely you'd want to find somewhere to bury the body with a bit of respect.

      It simply being ''off'' doesn't really say much to be fair. I mean, he clearly did it. He admits he killed his wife, he hid the bodies, it's insane. But him being ''weird'' on video doesn't mean that he has done something, some people are weird in front of a camera, some people act weird after something tragic or stressful (which the situation would have been if it was true). I mean, obviously we know WHY he was weird, but assuming that people are weird because they've killed someone won;t really do you any good, people. Just saying.

    It's the anomalous behaviour that raises the flags for me. Such random acts of violence are not common. For a person that would have a vested interest in being law abiding and under the radar. The "just being drawn to her" and then the black out. From a person that has been consistently employed for the last 4 years. These are the actions of an extremely mentally ill, unstable person. But only this once, out of the blue. Just because he saw a pretty girl going for a jog. It doesn't make sense.
    Then the press announcement, the telling of it was off.
    So they got a locals camera footage. Picked out his vehicle and tracked that vehicle to the owner and tracked the vehicles movements. Then they managed to find her running on the video. The description of events was not reliable. The guy was running with her or behind her? Or was he driving because of how he found himself and the girl after the blackout? But then remembered where he put her, while he was in black out. Did he stalk her or was this random chance one night?
    And if it was just a one night, "drawn to her" and lost his fricken mind this one time out of the blue. Why track his vehicle until they could in some vague way put the 2 in the same place. What in this guys actions previously said - follow this particular guy? Did his vehicle have a killer vibe? What is the precedent here?
    Other than being a minority with a questionable citizenship status.
    And that's another thing, his citizenship status. So he has been there working for about 4 years. Presumably to do that he has to stay out of trouble. He has a mental break one night. Snaps and blacks out when a girl he was drawn to asks him to leave her alone or she'll call the cops. Okay let's imagine; he is afraid. Someone of his status doesn't want the attention of the police. This sets off a drastic fight or flight reaction to the point that he is no longer in control of his mind or actions. But then he comes to realizes the actual horror of the situation. This is bad for him. He hides the body kinda out in a corn field, sort of disguised. But still not well enough that the victim can't be found. Then this guy. who snaps at the mere mention of the possibility of being in trouble with the authorities, is definitely in trouble now. But he.. Doesn't flee, he sticks around and when the law catches up with him. He is calm, cooperative and helpful. A guy that blacks out into murderous rage at the hint of getting in trouble, is now all... So what do you want to know?
    I'm not saying he didn't do it. There are just too many holes.
    What there should be is justice. The guilty punished and removed from society that doesn't need an unhinged murderer among them.
    It means nothing to the victim and the people who love and care for her, who have suffered the greatest loss of their lives. If the wrong person pays for the crime. That's not justice. That's just creating another victim.

      Totally agree. I have been reading about this story and there are too many holes. I have also been watching The Confession Tapes so blacking out seems to be a common occurrence in forced confessions. Earlier in the case, the family asked the person holding their daughter to let her go as the relationship the abductor had with the girl was not going in the right direction. I was very confused about what they were talking about but I guess we need more information.

      Dont forget, the vice president flew in on the taxpayers dime to 'pray' with the parents...and this was before they made the arrest...then, of course, the suspect is illegal which just happens to corrilate with the WH administrations political agenda. Pence doesnt fly out to pray with citizens on a regular basis, so theres that bit.
      Its a small town, the suspects gf had tibbits as a facebook friend- so theres some indirect connection there..
      The authorities probably traced every single car on the video, and couldnt trace the suspects truck, which lead them to the suspect.
      I agree..not saying he didnt do it-if he blacked out, theres clear mental issues...and we all know how America supports that mental health as a valid need of it its citizens (thanks reagan for dismanteling the mental health system).
      Worked 4-7 years under the radar then snapped..its possible.
      But the suspect part is why pence flew out before they announced the arrest, which means locals already knew who did it, but were waiting on a body, someone tipped of the WH and then decided to pounce on it (sending pence) to try and rally the voters around the central issue if immigration.
      Clearly a think tank was involved, because they arent rallying the voters around tax, medical, infrastructure, jobs.
      It really DOES feel like theres missing parts..but a split petsonality with blackouts CAN feel that way too...

      nah. politicizing things isn't bad. there is an issue, let's see how we can fix it.
      illegal immigrants can't murder if they've been deported.
      people can't shoot people if there's no guns.
      the first is managable, we can deport those who entered the country illegally, hopefully before any crime is committed.
      the second is absolutely impossible without infringing on 2nd amendement rights of US citizens or enacting pointless gun control legislation that won't prevent a single shooting.
      we can prevent some murders by enforcing the law, meaning deporting illegals and prosecuting people illegally in posession of firearms, who make up for over 80% of annual gun murders.
      "gun control doesn't work" isn't not politicizing, it's just not agreeing with the methods proposed to fix the issue.

      To me intent matters. It's obvious that when republicans/the right wing paints all undocumented immigrants as violent and murderers than they're doing it for political points, as it's such a hot button issue for their base. But when the left talks about gun violence and how to prevent it, they aren't doing it for their base, as it's not an issue that really rules up left voters. They're doing it because they want to solve that problem. So they're not "politicizing" or "exploiting" a tragedy for points, they're just addressing it.

    • @316malica
      @316malica 6 лет назад +7

      @@malinicorrea9379 that's not true at all. Everytime there is a mass shooting you always here of people boycotting NRA meanwhile there hasn't been a mass shooting committed by an NRA member. The left are after all guns in the same way that the right is after all illegals. Both are painted with a broad brush and both upset the other side of the political debate. The issue at the end of the day is that people are entering the country illegally and it's not all of them that commit the crimes but the bad apples ruin the bunch. The difference lies in the measures we take with the gun control laws those that have guns legally are in a database that can be checked. Illegal immigrants arent.

    As an Iowan this story hits really close to home. Most of us live in towns of 4000 people or less. I've personally followed this story from day 1. Unfortunately, there are many other stories to consider. Iowa is a high sex-trafficking state because we have two interstates that go through Des Moines. We've had a record number of people under 14 disappearing this year.
    I am heartbroken for Molly and what happened to her. I despise that the only reason she gets coverage is because it furthers the political agenda for one party. Her own family has come out saying that "evil comes in all colors and to focus on Molly, not the murderer".
    Barely any coverage about Sabrina Ray and Natalie Finn, both Iowa children who were starved and beaten to death by their foster parents. Every day kids are murdered and no one gives a shit unless it benefits one of the parties.
    Sure, if we had harsher immigration laws maybe Molly would be alive. Maybe someone else would have killed her. Immigration laws wouldn't have stopped that Denver piece of shit from murdering his family. Bad people exist everywhere.

I wouldn't say it necessarily absolves him but it would make the situation a lot more complicated then "he monster - kill or imprison his ass".

      Orlin Hristov yeah. I don't like to take sides in stories like that because I don't know these people and I wasn't there but, I gotta say... Him dumping the kids in the oil tank according to his own testimony makes me wonder... Did he do that already hoping the oil would get rid of his dna around the kids' throats?
      Also, isn't it a bit too convenient to actually see the wife on the baby monitor at the very moment she's killing the second one? Idk man...

    • @evielution.
      @evielution. 6 лет назад

      @Buttered Lumps I guess by that logic we should generalize every white male as a murderer as well and deport them, hmm? I mean, you saw the first half of the video. White people are absolutely capable of murdering as well. Just because a few are bad, doesn't mean they all are.

    • @jcoulton4
      @jcoulton4 6 лет назад

      Supreme Kim Jong-un - "Immigration is not the problem here it's the people." Do you not see the flaw in that logic? Control/educate the people all you want, but what happens when an external person arrives? Especially one that is illegal and you have no idea exists? You can't control that variable, but instead only limit it with immigration laws. So how do you suggest America deals with it?
      As for the political connection, yes it's a shame that the event is now being used to push political agendas. However, when something bad happens, we need to look at what happened and what we should do to make sure it doesn't happen again. The culprit was only able to kill her because he's an illegal alien, which also happens to be a hot political topic right now. So that's why it's now political.
