Just discovered your channel a few days ago, and when I heard your accent, I immediately knew this has to a Canadian guy. Your videos are a bit longer than most of the videos I watch, but it's nice to see the uncut process of your work. I think it inspires a lot of people who would otherwise think they couldn't possibly do the things you do. It's good to see not only the successes and final outcomes, but also the trial and error that are part of real life. Also nice to see family involved in your passion. Carry it forward. Thank you for making a well produced video. You shared a lot of your knowledge and experience. What stood out to me was your tip on bending the patch panel to less than 90 degrees and the vee notches instead of spot weld holes. I will watch this one another time. Jolene does an amazing job with the camera to capture how you do things.
Love your respect for your apprentice. Aiden probably loves the learning experience as well as your respect. I wish I could have had such a great mentor.
You are so right: that kind of rust/rot is scary for a lot of us ! Excellent lesson on how to fix it. There are a lot of good deals out there with a bit of "fixable" rot....
Nice to have Aiden back in the house, he's really getting the hang of things, making the job much quicker. Another great lesson on patch panel fabrication. I'm looking forward to seeing the outer sill to below the door section being made when you get that far. Thank you, Jolene, for the awesome camera work as always.
New welder here, recently tried the coat hanger trick on an exhaust fix....Wish I would have known sooner!!!! LOL would have saved alot of time and energy!!
Awesome job brother! Good to see Aiden back. Always good to see the younger generation learning the old school techniques. Keep up the great work Bad Chad. Totally enjoy the channel. One of my top five favorite RUclips channels. Keep on Motoring brother!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Brings a whole new meaning to the saying "knitting fog" or "welding lace"! Either way, doing a great job, Chad and Ayden, with brilliant camera work from Jolene, of course! Hi,from UK Dave!
It is very amazing to see how well Chad and Aidyn work together. Their brains always seem to be on the same page. It is easy to see how much gets done when they work together. Hi Jolene and Fina, you guys are also doing a great job. Bill
Aidyn s in the house ! Welding it up and Chad's fabricating the pices to fix rust rot . Looks great gentlemen! Thumbs-up Jolene 👍 and 👍 Chad and 👍 Aidyn ! Ths is great learning for the novice builder ! Pay attention to the details and you'll do fine . 🙂 Again the content is great 👍 and is Aidyn going to be around for awhile ? Would like to hear about his work on his car and how's that going .
Hello, May I suggest that when building a car, make an anode for the welder. That way you always know where you have a solid ground point for the whole project. Cheers
Moor great lessons 👌 maybe it would be a good idea to put a cover over Elvis as I just keep thinking of all the work u have put into that awesome dash and it could be getting grinder sparks and dust on it
Ayden makes a great team member! So glad you were able to bring him back since he is out of school.
Aiden's a good dude ! Not too many guys his age want to work hard these days. Salute, you guys are killing it ! 👍😉
Excellent camera coverage by Jolene. Especially zooming in for close ups and climbing around in tight spaces. Greatly appreciated.
Props to Aiden for tossing recognition back to Chad about how his experience is a valuable education.

I use cavity wax on the inaccessable areas. It gets sprayed in and coats the interior via capillary attraction.

Have you ever used magnets to hold the paper to the metal? Some small ones could act as extra hands while you mark the paper or metal.
Yes he has some that fans sent in the mail. I've only seen him use them once or twice usually on bigger templates. 😉
