Thank you very much. I am so pleased to hear you enjoyed the video. Have you been on the TDMB - or are you planning a trip? We highly recommend it if not. We hope you have a great weekend too 🥰
This hike has given us so many wonderful memories and we are reliving this with through documenting it on our channel. So pleased you are following and are joining us on this epic adventure:)
Well I’m editing the next video and with me being poorly, I’ve needed to rely on your filming a little more than usual. It’s coming together nicely, it’s a great way to reflect on the early moments of the trip given how many days we were on the adventure altogether.
@@wildwanderwomen694awww and I didn’t do much filming when we weren’t having a good time being poorly 😢 You’ve done a great job and can’t wait to see the next one. ☝️
Hello! My family and I are enjoying your videos very much! Thank you for sharing your TMB experience. We are planning on hiking the TMB this summer. I have a question: what time of year did you hike the TMB? Thank you!😊
Hello, welcome to our channel :) It’s lovely to hear you are enjoying the experience, it’s wonderful to be able to share it. We arrived in Les Houches very late on 3rd September, and began the hike on 5th September taking us 13 days. Weather reports leading up to our arrival for months had been exceptionally good, we booked to visit in early September based on previous years weather patterns but this year was like no other. Unprecedented rain and below freezing temperatures with snow. If sleeping in a tent, my learning next time is to bring a slightly stealthier sleeping bag…I took this one which is compact and lightweight: Sleeping bag: Sea to Summit Flame FmII Women's Regular Comfort 2 degrees, lower limit -4 degrees, extreme -21 C; luckily a last minute swap when we were packing meant Gemma took my Sierra Designs Women Cloud 800 20 Degree Down Sleeping Bag Comfort Limit -3 and was pretty comfortable despite the below freezing temperatures. Hope this helps
@@wildwanderwomen694 Hello again! Thank you very much for your reply. Appreciate all of the good information you provided regarding the time of year you went to the TMB. Can’t believe the weather! Wow! Sorry to see that you feel ill after a few days on trail. If you don’t mind me asking, was it a food related illness? Thank you again for sharing your journey together on the TMB. We are leaning a lot, and my family and I look foward to your next TMB episode video!
Thank you. We were unlucky with the weather, but we also had some beautiful days. It was like all four seasons, so quite the adventure. I wasn’t sure what caused my illness and did wonder if it was triggered by some refuge food. But I had a health condition that makes me sensitive to certain foods. We hope you’ve enjoyed watching the remainder of our adventures and they provide some useful tips for your plans.

Ahh you did such a great job of this video, especially considering we couldn’t film much in these conditions. ❤
