- [Dallas Fire Rescue] (Rental, RARE) Truck 18 responding to a Elevator Rescue.
Truck 18 is using a rental from Siddons Martin because Dallas is short on apparatus. Dallas only has 1 rental that I know of currently. ( As of 10/7/22 )
This is a rare catch as Dallas will not have this unit forever. I also am a Fan of the EQ2b siren on it.
Truck 18 is using a 2008 Arrow XT 1500/500 Quint.

(Firetrucks responding, Dallas fire truck, rare) Ignore
They were also using a former Little Elm 75’ quint that was traded into Siddons-Martin. I saw it on a couple runs back in September or October. I think it was running as Truck 50.
Yeah 56s had one too. They had 2 little elm quints
I saw it running as Truck 50 also
Great catch of ______ FIRE DEPT. truck 18
GREAT VIDEO😸
No idea there was a rental fire truck market. Know what I’m going for the next time I go out of town!
it sure is unique, i believe they are renting it from Siddons Martin. I doubt it will be at 18s for long.
Dude this is probably the rarest of rare!!! Awesome catch! Wonder why they didn't just use one of the reserve trucks
They dont have any reserve trucks
@@TexasEmergencyPhotography oh wow, its been a while since I've been In the Dallas area
@@TexasEmergencyPhotography All, I believe 7, reserve trucks, are in-service currently as front-line trucks are out of service for maintenance issues (parts backordered and maintenance staff shortage). As a result, there are three truck companies (T53, T4 and T36) out of service as there is no equipment available (as of a few weeks ago).
@@brettperkins3593 Correct, Truck 4 is running Truck 3s rig currently. Truck 3 has a dallas reserve apparatus. 36 is in a Suburban Squad, and 18s, as shown in the video, is in a rental.
Bizarre times we are in
So this is not a spare Dallas rig? Strange. 🤔
It’s a mystery fire truck
Nope, its a Siddons Demo rig. not sure if it belonged to a department, if so i’m not sure who had it. Cool rig either way.
It’s a trade in from a department that got a new Pierce. Unknown which department it came from.
@@erichansen118 Kinda looks like an allen trufk
