At the 0:50 mark, the nickname "mermaids" is revealed. I love me some Lexie Hull. She is a great teammate. Great defensive player. Even sitting on the bench she is always the first to stand and cheer the floor players anytime something good happens.
I like Lexie. She always hustles and has a beautiful reverse layup.
I dug Hull this past game against the Liberty. She was scrappy as heck. This Fever team is just a piece away from being formidable. They have a Big Two & a half and another piece would give them a Big Three!!
Lexie should play at least 20 minutes and had to be on the floor to finish the game, let Wheeler company with Sides as cheers leader
Temi is the final piece, once she is healthy and back in game shape.
So many people love Caitlyn, but my favorite is Lexie. It would have been hard to figure out early. Caitlyn just coming off college season, right back to it in WNBA, and the rough schedule to begin the season. They did not lose focus and trusted the process. Great games against good teams such as Phoenix, Las Vegas, and New York. This is what the WNBA is capable of now.
The Fever need to win 12 of the remaining 20 games to make the playoffs
That would put the Fever at 21 wins for the season, one win over 500.
