Problem with boxes like this is that unless you pull the autograph then you always lose. All the other cards are basically commons. When you open packs with multiple players like full NBA, MLB, or NFL the chance for a value card is exponentially higher. Also value of a card could possibly increase due to a player being great years later but not when you got the card. I don’t love the way they do these cards but it’s a money thing.
If Panini can make money they will. The only SP that’s pulling a decent secondary market value is the On Campus, even the Razzle Dazzle was low from what I saw. I think it’s a fun set to rip a couple of but after that I couldn’t degen rip more hunting for numbered or autos like you said. I’d be curious to see how the numbered parallel market does, just haven’t seen any sales last I looked
It will probably attract people who would never buy cards too so at that point I think it’s a pure money grab. One lady came into my local card shop thinking she could sell each card for a couple bucks when the grocery store has 20 cases of this.

One of my favorite cards they put out for Caitlin was the Topps Now when she broke the points record with the big number on it, they did an auto variant of that you could buy direct but was too expensive for my blood. But I’m right there with you, I just love adding her to my collection. I’ve bought a bunch of singles myself, I’d love to get some more of the Bowman inserts from last years set. I have 6 of these coming Friday hope i get something better than a target insert. ive watched a few pulls and a lot of it is lack luster. It seems like youre lucky just to get a mid range chase card like a razzle dazzle, and extremely lucky to get an on campus, numbered card or GOD LUCKY to get an auto from this set.
Part of me feels that with having numbered cards from /399 down to 1 and ALOT of numbered parallels in between that you should be guarenteed one #d card. That would help save the product, but obviously they don’t want to limit the products print run they want to print it to the moon and doing that they’d have to since the set itself is so small. Seems like 20 base, looks like 3-4 school colors, 2 crunch times, a couple contenders tickets etc. so even with so many numbered parallels I’m sure we’d have sold through the product already. But that’s the only way to save it, or make it $20

Couldn't see myself buying more. You may have a couple cards worth over $1 there, out of $90 in cards. I don't see her auto being worth as much as some of the nfl or nba autos, so it feels kind of high risk, low reward
The ceiling is definitely low, her 1/1s will obviously go for a lot because they’d be her first with panini (if I’m not mistaken) and surprisingly the singles are selling decently well on eBay, now I’d guarentee some of that is just new product hype. But with the set size even with numbered cards going from /399 -/1 that would severely cut the print run capability and we know they want to print it to the moon
Yeah if you don’t get one of the SP, numbered cards, or auto it’s definitely a rough rip, especially with how limited the set is in size, because you just end up with mountains of the same base cards even after a couple boxes

Blasters should be $25 for the premium releases (Prizms and Selects of the hobby) and then $20 max for mid/low tier releases or special releases like this
@@skipdippity that was the max you could order from target. Also I typically rip 2-3 blasters of a new release to give you guys the best look at the product and more opportunity to hit.

Iowa is still Spanish Louisiana and French Louisiana.
The quality of these cards are horrible. The back of the cards were not trimmed smoothly, lots of white edges and damaged corners, ink smearing on the surfaces. Panini needs to fix their quality control, seems like they rushed these out.

They definitely rushed this like you said as with a lot of sets anymore, I looked through mine after the fact to sell my dupes on eBay and I don’t even feel comfortable listing any cause so many had creasing and whiting on the top corners
Wish I’d kept them sealed honestly, even worse when I was going through them to list non PC ones on my eBay I noticed a lot had upper corner damage on the back But that’s what the channels for I like to review new products when I can
