The WNBA hierarchy of players and coaches are rooted in the past. They believe that the old school isolation ball and the widebody post play are the future. CC is showing them the future but many (like Sides) don't wanna see it. AB has been really smart in the way that she has started to adapt and it shows big time in her results. If Sides and Dunn and the rest refuse to accept the future, and the opportunity in their laps, they will quickly become the past.

Hull can catch passes but Smith has trouble catching the ball. Maybe Smith can work on catching and playing defense it would help Smiths stats.

Trying to be an opened minded new wnba fan but these women and coaches make it very hard to watch the games. True fans of their teams should not care about friendships of the players, the should only care about victories and playoff positioning. The wnba is a horrible product, poor coaching, poor officiating, poor role models, poor sportsmanship. It's as if the behind the scenes pettiness and drama overshadows the product on the court. Thank goodness football is coming soon.

Lexie & Caitlin work well together on the court too. Think earlier in the season, Lexie found herself in Sides’ doghouse after she actually set Caitlin up for a 3. Was pulled right after and saw limited or no playing time in the next few games. Sides’ is a bitter woman & lets her emotions guide her coaching decisions, and that is not a good thing!

Great video and take. I am not an Angel Reese fan because of her attitude and lack of humility and the “look a me” thing. But giving her credit, she is a force at the boards rebounding. She is young, and immature, so I am hopeful she can overcome some things as I really appreciate her potential and would love to see her become all about her team and less about herself.

I am just wondering today...how is Cheryl Miller NOT going to be interested in coaching a generational player like Caitlin and how are the Fever NOT going to be interested in at least TALKING to Cheryl Miller about coming in a coaching for at least a year or two, and then handing the reigns over a Miller assistant who has been groomed to do the job. I mean, how do these issues or questions NOT come up on both sides. I do NOT wonder whether Clark would be thrilled with such a change; we know how highly she regards Miller.

Until Herb Simon, Fever owner, makes some decisions, I dont see anything else happening. He is 90 years old. Linn Dunn is 80 years old and even though she looks like she has fire in her step, we really dont know. If Simon would decide to sell the Fever(current price of 90 million- underappreciated), everything is in the air. Personally I think the Fever are worth much more the 90 million, on the basis of capitol alone, and then if you add in at least three Tier III contracts, the sell price will go way up.

I was wondering about that while watching the all star game. Now that some of the vets along with Angel Reese think about Caitlin now that they had a chance to play alongside her instead of against her. Hopefully when the second half of the season starts maybe they won’t bully her so much.
