I'm not really sure of the impact the British Rule had on the monuments and sites that we visited. I wonder if there were any photos of those old buildings. Great to hear form you- it's cold here, near freezing, and I enjoy knowing it's warm and almost summer for you!

      Hi Jim- yes, wasn't that interesting. I believe the Mughals did incorporate other faith traditions somewhat in the art design, and they had the reputation for religious inclusion. One of them had 3 wives that were each: Islamic, Hindu and Christian faith. I'm not sure why they would have Star of David... I'll go and look that up, see if I can find anything :) Jen

      @JenniferLupine  Месяц назад

      Wow, that was really fast to figure out... thanks Google!!
      From Quora...
      The symbol which in the Hebrew tradition became called the “Star of David” is in Sanatana Dharma called the Shatkona, a six-pointed star made from two interlocking triangles. It represents the union of Shakti and Shiva, the balance of the Divine feminine and masculine energies.
      Super interesting answer, thanks for asking the question!!
