One of the many things Bethenny was totally ignorant about was the fact that the reunion was the first time Ariana had seen Rachquel since finding out she'd been Fing Tom. Ariana had seen and fought with Tom for hours prior to the reunion but not Rachquel. And Ariana had learned about so much more of the betrayal in those few weeks-Rachquel going to St. Louis, Rachquel secretly flying to Tom's gigs, Rachquel banging Tom in a car outside Ariana's house. etc etc etc,
Bethenny didn’t badmouth Ariana though so why does it matter if she knew that or not? We don’t know she didn’t know that btw.
Rachel didn't send the video, Tom took the video without her permission. An English celebrity was recently jailed for two years for doing the same to an ex-girlfriend.

HIPAA only pertains to those who are providers of health (medical/mental). Andy is not a doctor and is in no way bound by HIPAA. However, as an employer he may have other rules of privacy to follow but not HIPAA.

Andy is not a medical doctor and she is not in his care he did not violate HIPAA. In that case, you could go around suing anybody who accuses you of being on medication.
Yes but a boss who has private knowledge of a workers medical details can't speak to other employees about it! IDK if that applies here but I had a boss who was sued for something quite similar, Andy was her boss at the end of the day

You are right, however, that there are situations that, even if you are not a treating doctor, you would be legally liable for disclosing someone else’s medical record.

I didn’t perceive the Rachel interview the same way you did. It’s interesting to me how different my take on it was from yours. Two things can be true. Yes, Bethenny has said some mean things while on the housewives, however, the reunion was horrible and the cast went to far with Rachel. They have all slept around with each other and they behaved like mean girls and treated her horribly. It may be hard to be objective when you are friends and hang out with the cast.

HIPAA laws only apply to people in the medical field who took the Hippocratic oath. Andy cohen and Bravo cannot violate HIPAA laws. If they had her doctor on and they said she was on something- that would be a violation.

I believe the reason Britney's husband Sam cooperated is because he was on the payroll for 6 years which has been confirmed.. he was supposedly paid as her chef after the dancing gig. So maybe that's why he was allowed to be the boyfriend all those years while she was still in lock down by her father. She had no other privileges during that time and no freedom so.. why would he be the exeption unless he was under the dad's thumb all those years.
Although Bethany is a hypocrite and self serving, the Rachel interview was good and a lot of good valid points were made. The girl was dragged through the mud while others profited, not right.
She jumped in that mud herself and betrayed people that trusted her it’s called getting caught and consequences especially being on TV!

She had the potential to make TONS of money. More so than the rest of the cast. Unfortunately, SHE decided to take off and go to the retreat. She also could of done an interview with someone else and would of gotten paid, instead she got taken advantage of by Bethany. The majority of people thought this made her look like a liar. I do believe its a strong possibility that Arianna and Scheana relationship with Rachael wasnt as close as the show wanted us to believe. There are other cast members that also only hang out during shooting. And its odd that Scheana never mentioned that Rachel payed any rent. Perhaps at a lower rate fir watching the cat (nursing mother are not supposed to be around cat litter,). Perhaps it was worth lower rent to have her beloved cat stay in a place it's used to rather than boarding it. But Scheana skipped those details. Also,.Scheana saying re hitting Rachael " I cant make a fist" while holding her hand up making a fist. Maybe the long nails were not tucked in but a fist none the less. No , Im not a Rachael fan..but I did notice these things.
I agree with you. I've always thought Sheana hit her since the reunion episode where Tom's starts to talk about it and she shuts him down by screaming at him. I also think that Lala had it out for her regardless of the scandal. As did Katie. I believe what she said as far as them coming into her room congratulating her on good TV during the girls trip and then as soon as the cameras went up they started in on her. I'm not a fan of her actions whatsoever. But like Heather always says two things can be true and that is that Rachel can be wrong for having the affair and they can still be nasty mean girls

I think especially given your long career in tv, you should be able to separate your own personal disdain towards Bethenny, from acknowledging the fact that the unionization for reality tv stars is actually a good thing and that everyone on these shows should be protected. These podcasts become uninteresting when you lose your own personal voice because you care more about your own self-interests (in this case sucking up to Andy/Bravo/NBC)
We all know damn well sam never loved Britney and used her this whole time. He’s always cheated on her. Throughout the whole relationship. I guarantee you those women/men will come forward soon, now that this story is hot. HOWEVER I will say kudos to him for keeping her clean, getting her back into the best shape of her life. I will give him that. He was basically paid to be her companion.

I have a lot of sympathy for her. I'm not saying she was right, and I fully support Ariana's decision to want nothing to do with her, but the amount of cyberbullying she endured was atrocious. While the word "bullying" gets thrown out too casually these days, sometimes it truly applies, and it can lead to horrible consequences, like suicide, etc.

yes and the parents agreed to do that and are evidently doing whatever they can to release him from the conservatorship . There are always multiple sides to a story -. BTW it was a book first written by Michael Lewis - and that got optioned for a film. I listened to Michael Oher last week from what I could gather he seemed mostly upset about the way he was portrayed in the movie. I suspect that was done to build up the rags to riches story - not that uncommon in movies.
I think it’s a great idea for Bethany to set up Human Resources guidelines for reality tv cast and crew. This could be the start of something really good for cast and crew whilst still being entertaining.

You say a lot of inaccurate things in this podcast. Rachel did not send a masturbation video to Tom. Tom secretly/illegally recorded her. You also asked if her saying that James is the reason that Graham bites is because he likes it was somehow her referring to Graham liking it when she was clearly talking about James liking the feeling. And her insinuating that there’s something strange about how Ariana got Tom’s phone is a legitimate question. Personally, I think Tom dropped the phone on purpose and he wanted Ariana to see the video because he wanted out of the relationship but was too much of a pussy just to break up the normal way.

Why all the negativity towards Bethany it’s getting gross really. The mean girl shit is usually something you let go of with age and wisdom. I watched the interview with Rachel and was impressed they spoke about the lack of humanity in the Bravo machine. Something that is less and less appetizing as we evolve.
When i was a little kid we had family friends that got divorced. The Mom and 6 kids moved from a huge masion to a RV/trailer. I told my mom that I thought it was so cool that their house was on wheels but when we went to visit them in their new home/trailer i wasn't allowed to mention it. Even though it was very obvious that they were living in a RV/trailer i could not say anything about it!!! I was so confused! Safe to say we never did a RV vacation 😂

OMG I burst out laughing with the Bethany stove analogy. Absolutely brilliant. You & Carole are spot on about her word salad way of talking. Not only that I find she talks so fast, she cuts them off, she talks over the top of people. Most of all I feel like Bethany talks AT people, not WITH them.

The Bethenny interview kept to the right topics and provided an insight into the reality show. The Heather and Carol, Bethenny bashing was awful and unnecessary. If you like Bethenny or not, to mimic her and bash her business/charity was wrong.
I agree,Bethany works hard for the people who need it.She’s not putting herself first.She travels to the places that she can help the most. She’s not buying pillows like Oprah is doing for Hawaii right now.Bethany always has gift cards for the people that are hardest hit.For real,Oprah went to Costco and bought pillows.LOTS AND LOTS OF PILLOWS.

I'm aware that rain in California is different... But in Florida, We wouldn't change anything about our day for a tropical storm. Businesses would not close and you would still be expected to be at work. Like I don't even think we would get supplies unless it was a category 3.

Wow Heather- way to carry water for Andy Cohen and the networks! Is it so wrong for Bethenny to say that reality stars should be compensated fairly after their lives get destroyed after starring in these crazy shows that we all love and watch? Bethenny has done so much philanthropy, disaster relief and charity - most reality stars could only dream of doing a fraction of what Bethenny has accomplished in her life.
And that’s what makes it all so sad watching Bethany implode after doing so many accomplished things. She’s giving desperate and calculating. At the end of the day she’s just extra thirsty.

Here’s the thing..everyone is pissed off because Bethenny Frankel has F*ck You Money and she can say whatever the hell she wants and does not GAF. She has never said she was saint or tried to pretend to be a saint. She is a business woman. She was before housewives. She is now. She’s pretty damn good at it. As much as I love Andy Cohen, he is pretty much the mob boss of reality TV. You kiss the ring or you are canceled. Reality shows are predatory in nature. Situations are manufactured. Pots are stirred. Of course. That’s the point. It’s salacious and over the top dramatic. People love it. Andy Cohen lives for it. He will use any story, no matter how painful or problematic it may be, to make money. To boost ratings. He loves a gotcha moment. He loves to catch people unaware. And he loves the fact that reality stars aren’t actors so he OWNS them for life. He’s a great business person too. Clearly. Bethenny still has more money. She is not beholding to his power and influence and so she can say and do as she pleases. This does not make Andy Cohen happy. He is known for getting his besties to say nasty things about other people…like SJP on the absolute worst reboot ever made. It’s a horrible cringy onslaught of horrendous plastic surgery and woke pandering dialogue. Awful. SJP does use her shows to settle scores. Samantha? 🤔 whatever. Be haters. Call her a hypocrite. She played the game until she didn’t have to anymore. People can hate her. Hate on her. Bethenny still wins. Having F You money is grand thing.
As for the Blind Side. Seriously? The Tuohys never said they adopted Michael. Even in the movie they discussed adoption and why it might not be the best way to support him. (The film, by the way, was a STORY. It wasn’t a documentary. It made for a good story line that Michael didn’t know how to play football. Sandra Bullock deserved that Oscar. The absolute morons saying she should give her Oscar back are seriously so stupid. They probably have brain damage from wearing masks 24/7 for two years. She acted. It was brilliant. Oscar given. That’s who it works. Take a seat knuckle heads. Ugh.) anyway…the Tuohys were not trying to make a buck off of anyone. They were looking for the best legal to way to protect Michael from predatory hangers on. Who clearly have a hold of him now. That doesnt mean they didn’t treat him as a son. He lived in their home. He was supported and nurtured and treated as one of the family. The conservatorship, which is NOTHING like the Britany Spears conservatorship, was likely on the advice of their financial advisors and lawyers. It wasn’t predatory. It was protective. These people were hugely wealthy before they knew Michel Oher. Does it not make sense that they would want to protect their money as well? They wouldn’t want to leave themselves vulnerable to any person who may come out of the woodwork, which absolutely happens. Clearly Michael Oher has not managed his football income very well. He has been turned by the white people are evil and they owe you” group who is making him feel like a victim. This is not the first time he has tried to extort money from the Tuohys. This is public record. It’s a really sad messy situation that only supports the fact that the conservatorship was the right move. It was necessary to protect him and themselves. They also have stated publicly that they love him regardless of any of this insanity. I can only imagine how painful it might be for people who seem to have wanted only to do good for another human being. No good deed goes unpunished. Michaels financial woes and previous attempts to extort the Tuohys will come out. Because of HIS actions. Not theirs. It’s sad. But while the actors on strike it sure is making for great entertainment!!

Heather my sister Back in the year 2000 had a 20 year wedding renewal. Back then it cost over $250,000 in Boston with fireworks & all. They lasted until 33 years and today she’s remarried and so in love. So I say no to renewing your vows! It was very extravagant and fun!!
