    Is it just me, or is it weird that the earrings were borrowed for a night when H forgot her own earrings, then she continued to wear them, all the way to taking them on vacation? Why wouldn’t they just be returned the next morning after she needed them?
    Also the “putter” analogy, why does the guy have to ask for the putter back, you would know every single time, you use that putter, it’s not yours. So, if someone lets you borrow something, and they don’t ask for it back, it becomes yours?!
    Anyway, off to borrow some expensive things, because if they don’t tell me how much it’s worth or ask for it back, that means it’s mine! 😂

  • @AskMarkWard
    @AskMarkWard 11 месяцев назад +59

    When you loan something to someone, are you supposed to say, "don't lose it"? I always thought that was assumed. Borrowing something usually means that the item will be returned (no matter what the cost) and one should not have to continue to ask that something borrowed be returned. From where I am sitting, it doesn't matter if it is worth $3 or $3000. If I didn't want it, I would not have it. So, I am going to want it back. I find it odd that expense is the issue. If it's not yours, it is NOT yours. WEAK argument IMO.

    It doesn't feel good to be accused of being a thief, however when you borrow something you return it, you don't wait for them to ask for it back. It doesn't even make any sense. It also sounds like you're blaming her for letting you use something so expensive. Whether it was $5 or $5,000, the price doesn't matter. You were her friend and she trusted you with her personal belongings. You're a grown woman, take accountability and learn from this experience.

    Im sorry but even if SHE offered for you to borrow them how could it be a planned attack? Did She know if she let you borrow them that you’d lose them? and then shed be able put you on blast months later? Lol make that make sense girl… also, she shouldn’t of had to even ask for the ear rings back to begin with.. ever. You should of promptly returned them and if u knew you lost them rather they are $20-$90 or $900 asked her to send you the link to them and rebought them for her, without her having to ask you too. You said she mentioned it once as a”joke” with a laughing emoji and that’s clearly someone’s way of passively bringing it up- which she shouldn’t of had too to begin with since you borrowed from HER. So the fact she had to bring it up- get ignored cuz her text didn’t seem urgent or serious enough for u to think she actually wants her item back.. to then her having to ask again and be ignored for a month.. for that to then lead you to decided that it was all a planned attack is INSANE… truly. She didn’t give it to you she lent it to you. To borrow. Doesn’t matter the cost. If she wanted to attack you she would of said you could borrow them and then go behind your back and tell everyone you STOLE them … that would be an attack and accusation.. but to borrow something then not return it and then say that was a plan attack is something I can’t even comprehend… if you lose something of someone’s- you replace it, immediately.Without them having to ask. Period.

    Anyone who’s ever lent anything out knows how uncomfortable it can get when the person you lent it to doesn’t return things. It’s awkward. To assume she predicted you would need to borrow jewelry, then knew you wouldn’t return them right away AND lose one as part of a planned attack sounds insane. You’re trying to blame a friend for trusting you? Pretty sure you put her in an uncomfortable position even needing to ask once for them back and she got mad then vented to someone that escalated things. Saying it’s a planned attack was literally the last thing I expected to hear. Jeff took it too far but it all could have been avoided by being a better friend.

      What Justin did was sandbagging. He said he was her friend yet when she did things that upset him he didn't bring them up to her to give her an opportunity to apologize or take the feed back. He held them all in until she did something that was too much for him THEN he tells her oh yeah by way not only am i mad now but here is a list of everything you have ever done to piss me off even though I didn't bring it up to you at the time. Heather stated she didn't know he had had a problem with so many things until he listed them on his pod. I have actually done this to a "friend" (I was the one holding resentment she didn't know about) then I realized I was the horrible friend because I could have brought it up and given her the chance to make it right them move on. Instead I waited until I was furious with her and wanted to run down the list of how she wronged me for so long.

    So you borrowed her earrings and lost one. Why did you not tell her and offer to pay for them? Irrespective of how much they cost or you thought they cost. If you did the right thing, then they have nothing to attack you on. Claiming this is an planned attack is making yourself the victim when you are at fault.

    • @CouchDetective
      @CouchDetective 11 месяцев назад +7

      Why didn’t the woman who owned the earrings directly address the issue with Heather? She insisted Heather borrow them, she saw the video…. I’m sure Heather wasn’t try to steal anything, as she continued to communicate with owner of the earrings for months… why didn’t she talk to her instead of going behind her back and talking to people who have issues with Heather? When will people be accountable for their own things, it was on her to initiate that conversation. No matter how much the earrings cost, friendship is far more valuable and to use to misunderstanding to publicly shame a person, who believed they were a friend… is really messed up. I would like to know if the earring owner is also friends with Megan… because I bet she is, and I bet Megan has been litigating her case since she straight-up bulling Heather. All of this reeks of jealousy.

    • @CouchDetective
      @CouchDetective 11 месяцев назад +4

      This person insisted she borrow it… meaning Heather didn’t ask to borrow them. Which means it was probably an afterthought because it wasn’t something she had intended to do, she probably borrowed them to be nice because the woman insisted she borrowed the earrings. Listen to Jeff’s show, even he said that this woman always insists people use her things… why? People are responsible for their own property, and if a person just hands out their stuff to others without establishing conditions of use or giving all the information (like price or personal value) they should expect that they could lose those items. Because life happens. Things get lost. It was on her to contact Heather and explain the situation and she didn’t, so Heather assumed, as anyone would… because what rational person let’s casual friends borrow expensive jewelry, that it wasn’t a big deal. If people don’t want their things lost, they shouldn’t let people borrow them. To then use that story as social gossip with people she knows are looking for reasons to not like Heather . That is not how a FRIEND would handle the situation.

    • @CouchDetective
      @CouchDetective 11 месяцев назад +4

      Is it really though? It’s thoughtful to let someone borrow something and put all the responsibility of care of that item, without telling them the value or giving an expected date of return. Sounds like a test to me. The thoughtful thing would’ve been to talk to Heather directly when a conflict or resentment was felt because friends give each other the benefit of doubt. And sadly, I think that this is all there is to the story. And in the aftermath of a pandemic, where millions of people lost everything, this woman’s earring is so out-of-touch it’s unreal. This woman needs to grow up and stop loaning out her things so she can feel validated from some weird form of show-and-tell.

U didn’t seem like a lady who would be so dismissive and Insulting of a friends property for so many months.Nobody likes to have to ask for their things back and then be told it didn’t seem like it was worth anything …..apologies go a long way…u have started to come off so angry and jealous for awhile now ….example? Bethany …someone that is hustling just like you.. don’t lose your endearing qualities because you’re hanging with a young popular cast ….it won’t last like ur true friendships .All of this “pay extra to hear more personal drama” is terrible …but everyone is doing it now.If the earrings were three bucks you are so wrong and you’re trying to play victim we have all been in her place why would u of all people want to borrow fake stuff u really thought they were from Claire’s we aren’t stupid and your friend had u add insult to injury on that …….That happened long ago how was it a planned attack..Jeff is brutally honest but honest…….you can’t apologize and u keep saying people are jealous of ur career instead of just realizing that u are just like the rest of us money won’t mean a thing in the end it’s all about how u treat others We are just”subscribers”but without that it’s all for nothing ..we recognize 😂when someone is being deceitful get back to being kind honest and humble so we don’t start lookin elsewhere for some housewives recaps❤❤ and
