This song was not originally from Umbrella Acadamy, let's take a moment to appreciate the Book, movie, and music that is Le Fantome de opera/The Phantom of the opera, Thank you too, Gaston Leroux (Book, the 1800s), Andrew Lloyd Webber (Musical, 1980s), and Lon Chaney (Movie actor that originally portrayed the Phantom/Eric in the 1910s) Also I would like to add that I'm very excited to hear that Lindsy Stirling's music is being used in films, she is a PHENOMENAL violinist and I hope to see her music in Movies.

I actually tried to learn it so many years ago. This Phantom of the Opera Medley is what introduced me to Lindsey Stirling 5 years ago. I did learn how to play her Les Misérables medley one handed at the time. I haven't played it for a while though.
The moment I heard this play, I knew right away it was Lindsey Sterling.

bruh don't you ever try to do your homework while listening to this. I tried doing my math homework and ended up playing this song in front of the avengers at a classical music type concert Abraham Lincoln used to go to and my love interest ended up dying because I had powers that could activate when I play violin and if I feel to many emotions I could end up harming someone and I started crying for 2 hours. don't reccommend . 1 star review on yelp.

Well, it's the cover of a song longe since entered into public domain so they don't need to ask her, but it could have been cool if they did, or worked with her to make more ^^
@@larianbren yes they do have to ask her for permission because she sells versions of that song so they copyrighted it without permission and it's just common curtusy to ask to use things

I think that they had asked for her permission and she said yes, she had just forgotten about it which is why she didn't know that it was in Umbrella Academy. She later confirmed that she did agree with Netflix to let them use her cover.
