The X70 Pro Plus is the one that tempts me more than anything currently out there, the dedicated noise reduction chip would be ideal for taking astro-photography would mean a hell of a lot less editing in LR to remove that pesky noise.
Agreed. That specialized chip, gimbal, and amazing night capability really make it tasty for a mobile photography entusiast. Last thing missing is solid focus on zoom

The two phones both appear to offer excellent specs and promise a great user experience. Whatever the price difference is between the two it's probably justified, the improvements offered by the pro plus make for a genuine flagship phone. I expect they're both out of my price range so just watching to enjoy your presentation as always and to keep my finger on the pulse as it were. The one thing that I'm not sure about with these phones is the ongoing support that they will get. The Chinese companies are improving on the support front but it can be a bit hit & miss still. Vivo just dropped a massive 4.5gb update for the x60 series which upgrades to Android 12 and massively improves the camera.. seems worth its word so far

Great review! I like the fact that other manufacturers besides Nokia and Sony are partnering up with the (Carl) Zeiss company for the cameras. It really does make a difference in the quality.

@@theneosuperzero S21U has more ram and storage, a better telephoto camera, and a larger battery. Arguably better support too. The vivo is a great phone don't get me wrong, but it's a bit overpriced if you ask me.

You can't be wrong with one of the best camera out there. Samsung has larger sensor, but it doesn't translate well. And not everything on paper is better just because they're bigger. If that's the case, Apple will gone bankrupt long ago. 2) 12gb of RAM is an overkill, when 8gb is actually more than enough. I did a lot of multitasking and most of the apps will close itself even if you didn't clear it. 3) For better support, yes, I do agree. Most Chinese phone tend to give only 2 major updates before eventually calling it quit, which sucks a lot. But Android in general sucks at update. That's the only downside if you compare it to Apple. Even if Apple sells a lot, they also give update to phone that were 5-6 years old. The only reason why I brought up Apple in this is because of how bad the support for Android is, I hate it.

When watching you tube, Netflix one a fast moving scene I find it micro stutters and becomes so choppy and annoying! I've tried all setting but can't seem to over come it.. Anyone else found this??

I believe the VIVO is under embargo so this i not a review, it is an overview, a fancy name for a promo video. Sadly, when you take on phones like this you have to do these previews to help sell the phone as part of the deal. I thought for a preview this video was pretty unbiased.

Im kind of confused. Will vivo launch this phone in europe? I searched online and only found a quote from a spokesperson that vivo had no plans of launching the x70 series in europe. But why would they then send the model to UK reviewers if they're not planing on launching it in europe? :( Also, while it would be possible to buy it from China, that would be shipped with origin os. I believe just make sure you get the "international version" to get fun touch os. I also believe there is a switch in the settings of the China version with origin os to switch to fun touch and vice versa. (I saw it mentioned somewhere in a review)
I actually think for the price and camera performance, the Vivo Pro is the best option. Esp if you're already in the android side of things. Maybe wait for some of the pixel 6 Pro camera reviews before deciding.

i just got robbed off my x60 pro+ so i think ill upgrade to x70 pro+..love the sd rootability if it ever comes and the ip rating and wireless charging and dual speaker all come in handy.. i dont think id go for x80...i just dont like the circular camera visual :D

I think the one that turns out better at the cost is X70 Pro with the Mediatek Dimensity 1200 chipset. It also has really good cameras.

I believe just make sure you get the "international version" to get fun touch os. I also believe there is a switch in the settings of the China version with origin os to switch to fun touch and vice versa. (I saw it mentioned somewhere in a review)

I actually think for the price and camera performance, the Vivo Pro is the best option. Esp if you're already in the android side of things. Maybe wait for some of the pixel 6 Pro camera reviews before deciding.

i just got robbed off my x60 pro+ so i think ill upgrade to x70 pro+..love the sd rootability if it ever comes and the ip rating and wireless charging and dual speaker all come in handy.. i dont think id go for x80...i just dont like the circular camera visual :D

Hi Chris I know this is an unrelated question to the video im watching, im wanting to purchase Poco X3 Pro to use with my drone channels videos, but DJI Fly app has a Problem working with the app, have you any idea why this might happen, any help would be appreciated, I've been watching your channel for a while and I your honest opinion really matters cheers Steve.
