If my H1 max out(6 year)expiry is June 30, 2023 and the Class start date for Masters is August 22, 2023; would I be able to apply for Change of status in Mid may 2023? If the application for change of status is submitted, will I be able to remain in US after June 30th and join the Masters program in August(22nd) 2023? If the F1 change of status is approved will it be for the full duration of a fresh F1 visa or will it be till the end of H1B petition? Should I wait till change of status to be completed to join the course or can I remain in US after June 30th 2023, if the Change of Status request is under process?
